Chapter 1343 Food Tastes Better When The Kids Serve Them
“Thank you, everyone!” Arissa was overjoyed as she responded.
“Eat up, don't just focus on the drinks. Please dig into the food,” Darius cheerfully called out as he reminded the youngsters not to just focus on their drinks.
“Benjamin, serve your wife some food,” Darius glanced at Benjamin and instructed.
Benjamin gave Darius a look and cautioned, “Don't eat too much braised pork!”
Darius' mouth twitched as he replied guiltily, “I only took one bite!”
He avoided Benjamin's gaze as Benjamin stared at him. “This braised pork is delicious. It's sweet and sour. Especially this pineapple, it's very appetizing. Issa, have some more!”
With that, Darius scooped up a few pieces and served them to Arissa. He even drizzled some sauce over her rice. It smelled incredibly delicious.
“Thanks, Dad!” Arissa smiled. After taking a bite and finding it incredibly tasty, she turned to Benjamin and offered, “It's tasty, would you like a piece too?”
“All right, eat up!” Benjamin lightly chided. However, instead of criticizing her, his tone was filled with affection.
Arissa chuckled, eating mouthful after mouthful of pork and taking more servings once she finished.
She even secretly slipped a piece to Darius and Mary under Benjamin's presence.
“Help yourself, guys!” She called out to Jonathan and the others with a smile while serving the children dishes that were out of their reach.
“All right, we will. You don't need to fuss over us, Arissa. We won't hold back!” Jonathan responded with a smile, drinking and eating with everyone.
“I'll do it. Eat your food!” Benjamin pulled her hand over, took her spoon, and started serving the children.
“Thank you, Mommy!”
“Thank you, Mr. Graham!”
The kids chowed down until their cheeks looked plumper than a prairie possum, their voices as gentle as a spring breeze. Shaun and Ethen couldn't resist dishing up extra food for the kids, all to soak in their sweet voices.
A grin tugged at Jonathan's lips as he watched the adorable kids. He turned to Benjamin and queried, “Why do they still address you as Mr. Graham?”
Benjamin cast a calm look his way and replied calmly, “No matter what they call me, it won't alter the fact that I'm their biological father!”
Shaun and the rest chuckled under their breaths. Only Darius dared to tease him.
“Sure, you can say that. But is calling someone 'Daddy' the same as calling them 'Mr. Graham'? People
will think you're their uncle instead of their dad!”
After all, just because they looked alike didn't necessarily mean they were father and child. They could also be uncle and nephew.
“Haha!” Shaun and the others burst into laughter as Benjamin's face soured.
Arissa gave Benjamin a look and gently whispered, “They're just joking!”
Everyone lowered their heads as Benjamin swept his sharp gaze across the room.
Gavin looked around the table and served a piece of lamb for Benjamin. “Daddy, this is for you. Eat it quickly, or it'll be gone soon!”
Benjamin's heart warmed as he glanced at his son. “Okay!” Content provided by NôvelDrama.Org.
“Try some of this too!” Zachary followed suit, serving Benjamin some braised pork ribs as a sign of respect.
Tim, Oliver, Jasper, and Jesse all served Benjamin a portion of his favorite food as well.
“Daddy, eat up!”
A slight smile played at the corner of Benjamin's lips as he looked at the group of bachelors sitting across from him. There was a hint of boastfulness in his eyes.
“The food served by the children simply tastes better. Your envy won't change anything!”
Jonathan, Shaun, Ethen, Jack and Bradley were rendered speechless, while Darius, Mary, and Edwin shared a silent laugh.
Arissa stealthily nudged Benjamin. She gently reminded him in a low voice as a smile tugged at her lips. “Enough is enough. Beware of the public's wrath!”
“I intended to ruffle their feathers!” Benjamin smirked wickedly.
Arissa was at a loss for words as she shook her head in amusement.
