Chapter 1344 Benjamin Heard Everything You Just Said

Chapter 1344 Benjamin Heard Everything You Just Said

“Mommy, would you like more juice?” Tim peered over at Arissa, offering to refill her cup.

“No more for me. I'll have soup later!” Arissa turned to her son, noticing that there wasn't much juice left. “You guys can share the rest!”

“Grandpa, Great-grandaunt, Mr. Whitley, would you like more juice?” Tim asked the other elders.

“No thanks!” Darius replied with a smile. Content is © by NôvelDrama.Org.

“No more for me as well. You guys go ahead!” Mary smiled at Tim affectionately.

“I'll pass as well, Tim. You guys enjoy!” Edwin declined with a hearty laugh.

Tim chuckled, then proceeded to pour the juice for Gavin and the others.

“Eat first and drink later. You won't be able to eat your food if you fill yourselves up with drinks now!” Arissa warned.

They wouldn't be able to eat anything else if they drank the juice now.

The kids grinned at her before setting their juices aside and eating their food.

During the meal, Benjamin, Jonathan, Shaun, and the rest drank quite a bit of red wine and barely ate their food.

Arissa had already had two plates of pasta, but they hadn't eaten anything yet.

“Don't just focus on drinking, have some pasta to line your stomach. You're going to feel miserable when you get drunk later!”

“Rest assured, Arissa, Benjamin can handle his alcohol well, right, Benjamin?” Shaun flattered Benjamin while refilling his cup.

Jonathan chuckled in agreement. “I can vouch for this. Benjamin never gets drunks unless he wants to.”

Ethen and Jack nodded in agreement as they also knew about Benjamin's drinking capacity. “Benjamin handles his alcohol best among all of us. I've never seen anyone who can outdrink him.”

Arissa glanced at them before turning to Benjamin. Benjamin avoided her eyes as he seemed somewhat uneasy.

Benjamin glared at Shaun and the others. He said in a warning tone, “Who said I can't get drunk? I've just never dared to let loose when I was out!”

“Benjamin, feel free to drink to your heart's content tonight. We're all here with you.”

Shaun chuckled at Benjamin before turning to Arissa. “Is that okay, Arissa?”

Arissa laughed. “Why don't you ask him? It's not me who's drinking. It's up to him whether he wants to or not!”

“We just didn't want you to worry.”

“Feel free to drink to your heart's content since we're home!” Arissa said generously.

They were free to do whatever makes them happy since they were home. Else, what was the point of gathering at home?

She didn't worry at all since there would be someone looking after them once they got drunk.

“Benjamin, bottoms up!” Shaun toasted his glass to Benjamin.

Benjamin picked up his wine glass, returned the toast, and downed his glass.

Shaun took the bottle of wine and refilled his glass. At that moment, he received a call from Kingsley.

“Jonathan, pick up for me!”

Jonathan picked up the call with a grin when he saw that it was Kingsley. He even turned on the speaker.

“It's Kingsley!”

“Shaun, s-save me!” Kingsley's voice wavered, carried away by the howling wind. It intermittently broke off, likely due to a poor signal.

Shaun sat down and chuckled. “I'm too far away to save you. You should talk to Benjamin about this. I'm powerless to help!”

“That cunning man. If it weren't for him, I wouldn't be suffering in this godforsaken place. There's not a soul in sight for miles!” Kingsley was panting heavily. It was unclear whether he was walking or not.

Arissa and the kids listened on curiously, wondering where Kingsley was at that moment.

Shaun glanced at Benjamin and noticed a dangerous glint in his narrowed eyes. Out of kindness, he decided to give Kingsley a heads-up.

“Kingsley, I'm currently having dinner at Benjamin's house. Jonathan and Ethen are here too. Benjamin heard what you just said!”

No sound came from the other end for quite some time. But it was unclear whether it was due to poor signal or something else.
