Chapter 2577
"Thank you for not holding back on enlightening me, or I would never have known how sickening they were."
Marika suddenly appeared as if she had aged from the vicissitudes of life, a far cry from her pompous attitude earlier.
It certainly made sense, now that her faith was crushed-she had already shown spine by not falling apart on the spot.
Frank shook his head. "Your gratitude isn't necessary, but what are you going to do now?"
Marika shook her head. "I have yet to come up with anything, but I guess I'm going elsewhere to clear my mind. Would you mind exchanging contacts with me?"
"Of course not."
After exchanging numbers, Frank and Marika parted ways, with Frank soon returning to the abandoned apartment construction site.
Jada walked up to him, smiling. "You're being too soft on them, Mr. Frankton. If it were me, I would've made that woman pay for her actions too."
Frank shook his head in disagreement. "If you did, she'd die thinking she was right, and her cause was just. It's pointless to kill her."
"So that's why you didn't." Jada nodded in understanding. "That's why you're the boss your words ring true."
Frank smiled in wry amusement. "Go away. It's just a famous plot point."
As he finished, he strode up to Gashface and chuckled. "Time's almost up. Are you ready for the harshness of this world?"
While Gashface was astounded by Frank's power, in his mind, strength was no match for wealth.
And when it came to the wealthy, they were simply incapable of perfectly managing their wealth, let alone training in martial arts, but they stayed wealthy nonetheless!
As such, Gashface shook his head, determined. "Don't bother tricking me. I know what you are-you'd never have that much money!"
"I knew you'd say that!"
Frank snapped his fingers, and Jada pulled
unlout Gashface's phone,
unlocked it with Gashface's
yel.ne
fingerprint, and scrolled through his messages.
Finding the transfer notification, he showed it to Gashface proudly. "Do you see this?"
Gashface smirked. "I can fake notifications too. It doesn't prove a thing."
Jada nodded. "I have to admit that you've got brains, so it's a shame you're wasting it!"
She then freed Gashface, who ran without hesitation... only for Jada to trip him since she was prepared for it.noveldrama
"Stay down, or I'll make you," she said, putting a foot on his shoulder and throwing his phone in front of him. "Check your messages, and then your account. There's all the time in the world."
Since he was not getting away, Gashface decided to humor Jada, and the proprietors came to take a peek as well.
One of them counted. "That's, one, two, three... Eight zeros?! A hundred million?!"
Everyone was shocked. "Shit, the man's really someone special... He must be a billionaire!"
A hundred million did not just prove Frank's financial freedom-he was no different from those capitalist magnates. After all, most
companies worth a hundred million could not really fork out that much
money.
In other words, the man before them, who seemed to have nothing but his looks
going for him, was actually someone to be respected.
If he wanted, he just had to stamp his feet around, and many would suffer.
"Go on, sign the agreement!" Jada exclaimed, throwing the prepared agreement at Gashface.
Gashface glanced between Jada and then at Frank, hardly able to believe his ears. "Wait, are you guys crazy?"
What do you think?
