Mina Dominique and her husband were in the doctor’s office and he ordered that their daughter Hailey be transferred to another hospital without the knowledge of  his husband Killian.

“Are you sure compadre to your decision? Hailey’s husband is a tough opponent, he might not believe when we show or tell that his wife is gone. If he knew what we need he’ll gonna put me in jail.” the doctor asked.

“I will promise that you won’t be affected by this, compadre, I just want my daughter and grandchild to be well. We bring them back to Killian but if everything isn’t going well I want to take them away  from him first.” Drake said.

“Are you crazy Drake? You’re going to keep Killian’s wife and child away from him? You’re going to let our daughter and grandchild live without Killian?”

“This is only temporary ma,” Drake said

“Your decission is not easy as like that! You’re going to show that our daughter and grandchild dead? You know it’s not going to have a good effect on Killian!”

Killian just fell to the floor crying.

“Where’s Hailey’s body?” Vaugh asked.

Suddenly the doctor couldn’t speak and looked to the side that Vaugh wondered. He couldn’t get it out of his mind as if he was hiding something but he knew it wouldn’t fight Killian.

“Doc.?” Vaugh nodded here again to get his attention.

“Her father and mother have already taken her body, so they can’t wait for you to come back.” He answered.

“Condolences again Mr. Neilsen, I’m leaving first because I still have a patient to visit.” He added.

When the doctor left, Vaugh immediately joined his friend who was still lying on the floor and crying.

“Bro, come on. Rest first.” Vaugh said.

Killian shook his head. “I don’t need to rest Vaugh, my wife and my child are what you need. Tell me they’re still alive right?” He almost begs him.

Vaugh tapped him on the shoulder. “If Hailey was here he’d be laughed at you, you look like a kid who stumbled over there. Gather yourself Killian,” Vaugh said.

They were there for almost a long time because at first Vaugh didn’t force Killian to leave and he understood this, it was not easy for his friend to accept that his wife was gone and also his a child.

But what Vaugh still wonders why the doctor just avoided looking at them and why Hailey’s parents were so quick to get her body!

Fortunately, he eventually forced his friend to go home first and they would go to Hailey’s parents’ house tomorrow. He will not leave his friend now especially since it is difficult and painful to go through, he also called Premiere to tell her to go to Killian’s house.

Vaugh immediately averted his eyes and closed his eyes firmly as if it was difficult to answer the girl’s question.

Jade suddenly felt strange based on the young man’s reaction.

Premiere came over and asked, “Why can’t you answer Vaugh? Where’s Hailey? Why is Killian like that?”

Vaugh sighed. “Hailey is gone.” He answer and the two seemed to lose strength.

Jade hit Vaugh a few more times. “Is it a joke? Not funny.” Her eye begins to water.

But seeing that Vaugh’s reaction has not changed, they realize that it is not a joke and that what it says is true.

Jade just cried and her boyfriend Premiere immediately hugged her. “Calm down babe,” he promised the girl.

“How can I calm down? My bestfriend died together with her unborn child. Do you know how much it hurts Killian?” Jade said while crying.

Premiere supports Jade inside while Vaugh just follows them.

When they entered, they first sat on the sofa.

“What happened? How did it all turn out like this?” Premiere asked calmly.

Vaugh was quick to recount what happened when Killian called him.

“Did you review the cctv at the scene?” Jade asked.

“I’ve already called the police to investigate what happened.” Vaugh replied.

Silence fell on the three of them. They both cannot accept what happened to their friend and they will never accept.
