Reborn From Oblivion

Chapter 846

Not long after, Gavin and Benjamin found themselves at Rainbow Bridge.

Benjamin spotted Ashley and smirked, "Thanks for the tip-off, Greta."

Greta laughed unabashedly, "No need for thanks. Just make sure my payment's nice and hefty."

With a nod, Benjamin whipped out his phone to send her the money.

Meanwhile, Gavin rushed over to Morris, wearing a mix of fatherly concern and heartbreak on his face. "Son, come home with me."

Morris glanced at Greta and Benjamin with a look of sheer revulsion. Their little deal made his skin crawl. "Benjamin, aren't you worried that the money you're giving her is just going down the drain?"

Benjamin blinked, taken aback. "What do you mean?"

"I'm not going back to the Rowland family," Morris stated with a chill in his voice.

Benjamin hesitated with his phone, while Greta chimed in with irritation, "Benjamin, I gave you his address, so you owe me. Convincing him to return is your problem."

Benjamin, trying to be sly, replied, "No way. Unless he comes with us, I can't pay you."

The bickering began, escalating quickly.

Greta raised the stakes, "If you don't pay up, I'll hand his address over to the McCoy family. I'm sure Frankie will figure out how to get his grandson."

Benjamin quickly backtracked, "Fine, fine. I'll pay you."

Morris's handsome face darkened with anger. They were treating him like some kind of pawn, and he was seething.

Gavin, who had been ignored for too long, was starting to simmer. "Alright, it's late. Let's head home."

He presumptuously reached for the nearby wheelchair, but Morris firmly placed a hand on it. "Don't touch my wheelchair," he said, his voice distant and almost cold.

Gavin was clearly caught off guard, his patience wearing thin. "How long are you going to keep this up? I forgave what happened three years ago. Why do you hang onto the past? We're father and son; there's no grudge between us."

"You're not my father," Morris shot back, his gaze icy.

Gavin's lips twitched, a flicker of unease crossing his eyes.

At that moment, Benjamin stormed over, frustrated. "Dad, why bother? His leg's

injured; we can take him wherever we want. He can't stop us."

Morris looked at Benjamin with disdain. "Go ahead and try."

Benjamin, feeling the weight of Morris's stare, backed down. Sure, they could physically take him, but winning him over was a different ball game. Upset him, and he could bring

the Rowland family to its knees.

Switching tactics, Benjamin put on a sycophantic grin, "Come on, wouldn't you

rather be Mr. Rowland back home than playing the beggar here? Isn't it embarrassing?"

Morris turned away, feigning sleep. "If I'm such an embarrassment, keep your distance."noveldrama

"Why are you so stubborn?" Gavin fumed, stomping his foot in frustration.

Just then, a Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost glided over, and as the door swung open, a pair of white sneakers stepped out.

All eyes turned to the car as Nathalie emerged, dressed in a green fitted T-shirt, snug jeans, and her long hair flowing freely down her back.

Her casual look was a stark contrast to the usual formidable CEO persona.

"Nathalie? What are you doing here?" Benjamin shielded Morris, eyes narrowing at Nathalie. "Morris is part of the Rowland family. He's not going anywhere with you."
