“So what do we do next?” Rhea asked.

“I really don’t know what to do now the first thing is to go to the office to confirm if what he said is true.” Answered Cindy.

“Are you forgetting something?”Rhea asked.

” What’s the matter now? You know I’m not in the mood for games now Rhea?” Cindy asked looking exhausted. She hadn’t had much sleep since she saw her sister.

“You know your sister already. I still don’t understand why you want to bother yourself about finding what happened years ago.” Rhea said.

” Let’s talk about something else please Rhea.” She said as she tried to focus on her driving.

” Anything Rhea…” she answered softly but they said nothing after then, both of them were too occupied with thoughts to think of discussing anything.

Rhea had Dementrio on her mind, the night she spent with him was the most amazing night of her life. Even if she was used to having multiple men and not caring about what they felt, she knew she loved Dementrio dearly but their love was more complicated.

“You’re thinking about him right?” Cindy asked as she squeezed Rhea’s palm.

” How do you know it’s about Dementrio?”

” I notice the glow whenever you’re with him. I can only understand what you’re going through.”

” It’s fine Cindy. You’re my only family and we have to do this together.”

Cindy smiled asssuringly as she increased the car speed. The earlier she got to the company the more she understood the mystery behind her parents deaths. While driving Rhea’s phone rang but she ignored it when she noticed it was Dementrio.

“Rhea… pick up the damn phone! The ringing is pissing me off ” Cindy yelled as she hit the steering loudly.

” It’s Dementrio. I don’t want to talk to him now?” She answered softly.

” But you can spend the night with him?” Cindy asked in mockery.

” What are you implying Cindy? what’s the meaning of this?”

“It’s the truth Rhea! You secretly want to be with him but then you act like you’re the only family I have. Your stupid boyfriend wants my family dead in order to take the properties.” Cindy yelled without thinking, it was already too late and she couldn’t take back her words. Rhea was already broken and hurt .

“Stop the car!” Rhea ordered.

” What do you mean Rhea? I’m really sorry about what I said.” Cindy begged.

” Stop the fucking car Cindy!”

Immediately the car stopped and Rhea came out, all efforts made by Cindy to stop her was futile. She was already hurt and didn’t know where to go, she didn’t even want to call Dementrio.

Luckily, the place she had stopped was a playground, so she went and sat in one of the benches. That’s where she cried, pouring her heart silently in tears.

She stayed there for about 15 minutes with her head bowed when she felt a presence, the collongue was strong and smelt familiar and the only person she could think of was Dementrio.

She looked up immediately and saw him, the next moment she had wrapped her hands around his neck hugging him so tight like he was going to leave soon. On his shoulders she continued her Cry, he was the only one who could understand her and she really didn’t want to push him away at this point.

“Take it easy on yourself Rhea…” Dementrio whispered softly as he patted her hair gently but she just couldn’t stop crying. Left without a way of making her stop, he allowed her to cry all she wanted. He could only hope she stopped soon because he wasn’t happy seeing her unhappy and really sad.

After a while she stopped and slowly withdrew from his shoulders. He held her hands and squeezed gently. Then she smiled at him.

” You look beautiful when you smile. Don’t get sad anymore. Just smile…just for my sake.” Dementrio said removing the strands of hair on her face.

She blushed and hugged him for a while before letting go.

“Won’t you say anything to me?”

She turned away not knowing what to say,

” Are you upset with me?” He asked very concerned.

“I’m fine…I’m just thinking about us.”

” Is that why you refused to take my calls?” He asked as he took her palms and kissed them.

” That’s not why? I’m worried about us and I’m also worried about Cindy. I’m really confused.” She said in despair.

Dementrio said nothing as he fondled her hands while he watched the kids playing with swings and the little ones making their mother run after them.

His phone rang and he got up to take the car, it was from Rowland and he didn’t want Rhea to hear it. She was already feeling she was betraying Cindy so he tried hiding some things from her. After some minutes he came back and announced he was leaving for an urgent work.

” Should I drop you off at home?” He asked,

“No I’m fine here. Just see whoever you want to see and let me suffer alone.” She sounded hurt and it was understandable.

Dementrio knelt on one knee and took her by her right palm before whispering.

“Will you come with me home? I will tell you everything you need to know about the Chester’s family later on.”

She smiled but declined politely, she had to help Cindy find her sister and information about her parents deaths. She got up but felt really uneasy and weak. Her legs wobbled as she tried to walk, which is something she had never experience before.

“Are you okay?” Dementrio asked.

” I feel really weak and tired ” she answered.

“Hold on. I will carry you.”

He lifted her up and walked to his car but then in his arms she stopped breathing.

Immediately Rhea left, she had felt really bad for saying such things to her. It wasn’t her fault. She thought of what to do, Cindy was scared Rhea might do something to herself. Rhea might be tough on the outside but she was too emotional and was an overthinker. Left with no other option, the only person she could think of was Dementrio. She called him and explained things to him and luckily he assured her he was going to take care of Rhea.

No matter how she tried to hate him for trying to take her father’s company, she just couldn’t deny the truth that Dementrio really loved Rhea. It was only for Rhea’s sake he told her the truth about Damien and allowed her see her twin sister. She was going to forgive him soon, just only if she unravel the mystery behind her parents death and her claimed disappearance.

Her phone rang and she discovered it was Rhea’s doctor.

” What on earth does he need now?” Safe thought.

The last time he had told her that Rhea was suffering from a terrible heart disease, she knew about it but have kept it hidden from Rhea.

” The doctor can wait, I will be all to him once I get back from the Chester’s Enterprise.” She muttered to herself.

This was the second time she was entering the Chester’s Enterprise building but it was still new to get and she felt really nervous maybe because she was going with her real identity. She could only imagine what Axl will do if he sees her, as for her sister. She didn’t even want to mistakenly bump into her.

She took a deep breath as she entered, getting prepared for the worse things that could happen. She met a different receptionist and she was confused if she was in the right building. Cindy looked everywhere and it was the same so she disregarded the thought of being in the wrong place.

” Hello…good day.” She greeted softly, the receptionist of these companies are find of always typing, are thought.

” How may I help…” the young lady couldn’t finish her statement, she froze on seeing Cindy.

Meanwhile Cindy was taken aback by her sudden gaze, step was frightened and thought of running away but she kept her cool.

” You…you look exactly like the boss’s wife.” Ste muttered but Cindy could still hear.

This wasn’t what are had expected, the receptionist was going to create a scene and ste didn’t want that. The last person she wanted to see was her twin sister.

” I want to see Mr. Axl.” Cindy demanded trying to control her fright.

” He’s not around. Just wait I will call the boss’s wife.” She said as she grabbed her phone.

Cindy stood still as she thought fast, this wasn’t going according to plan and she needed to do something about it.

Immediately, the only thought that came was to leave as soon as possible. Little by little she took steps backwards, when she was quite close to the door, She turned and ran so fast rushing into her car.

The receptionist called out to her but she was already gone.

Inside her car, she zoomed off immediately. Praying slowly that she was not being followed by the company’s security.
