Painful seduction

Her eyelids opened slowly as the smell of flowery body wash filled the room. She brought the covers closely to her nose as she inhaled more of the flowery scent.

She looked around as she quickly recognized it as Dementrio’s room. Memories of their intimate affair of last time flooded her head. She blushed making her cheeks turn red.

The door opened revealing Dementrio , he entered with a tray .

‘ You’re up already?’ he asked dropping the tray at the bedside table before proceeding to kiss her but she turned quickly, hiding her face.

He smiled knowing the reason.

‘ You’re scared of bad breath? C’mon.’ He said bringing her face closer but she rushed into the bathroom using the bed covers as a towel since she was naked.

Her actions made him laugh.

She was really childish, he thought.

His phone rang as he looked at the caller. It was Cindy.

He forgot to call her.

‘ Good morning ma’am.’

‘ Don’t act so formal with me Demetrio, where is Rhea?’ she ordered

‘ Don’t you worry, Rhea is safe.’ he answered in a whisper.

‘ I guess you probably kept her in your house, Rhea is still my friend. She lives with me.’

‘ I have some stuff to discuss with Rhea. I will drop her at your apartment once I am done.’ he ended the call just in time to see Rhea coming out. She was wearing his bathroom, he smiled at her, gesturing for her to come.

She obeyed. He guided her to sit close to him which she did .

‘ I made breakfast.’

‘ Yeah, You’re quite romantic but that doesn’t mean I forgive you. Am still angry with you.’ she tried to get up but he stopped her immediately taking the towel she was holding to dry her hair which was still dripping.

‘ So you won’t forgive me?’

‘ Yes! It takes more than breakfast to win my heart.’

‘ Name your prize Rhea, I will surely do anything you want from me.’ he swore before kissing her on the forehead.

‘ I want to talk to Cindy, she must be feeling sad after hearing what happened to her sister.’ she prompted as she got up to get her phone.

‘ She meet with her sister yesterday but as Alexia Bachman.’ he replied.

She said nothing as she felt she had hurt Cindy.

‘ I really want to see her. She needs me and I am the only family now.’ She searched for her clothes but it was yesterday’s clothes.

She just couldn’t wear the same clothes she wore yesterday nor could she wear Dementrio’s clothes.

‘ Should I call her to come over and bring some clothes too?’ he offered as he noticed her predicament.

She smiled before embracing him. He hugged her even more tightly before releasing her to get his phone.

She moved to get the tray as the aroma of fried eggs made her feel hungry. She hadn’t had anything since yesterday after breakfast.

She sat immediately as she munched some toasts slowly but then increased pace.

‘ You will get choked up Rhea, learn to eat calmly. Nobody is taking the food from you.’ he advised which made her eye him.

All advice fell on deaf ears as she continued in her fast pace.

He got closed as he gently dragged the tray before drawing a stool to sit opposite her.

‘ Open your mouth.’ he ordered lightly.

She obeyed as he fed her some toast .

She smiled at him as he continued feeding her for a while.

‘ Am full.’ she said, pushing his hands away.

‘ You didn’t eat half of what is here.’

‘ You can have the rest.’

‘ So you won’t feed me?’

‘ Am still angry with you, so am not going to do anything with you.’ she stamped her foot as she walked away.

She heard a car drive in and instantly ran thinking it was Cindy but she saw two scary faces of huge men which made her turn to run . Luckily Dementrio followed her , seeing him made her run his embrace.

He was shocked at her sudden change, he looked at the door as his eyes met Rowland and the masked man.

Ni wonder she was scared, he thought.

‘ You scared her,’ Rowland turned to the masked man.

‘ It’s just my men, don’t be scared.’ he assured the shivering lady.

‘ Why does he always wear a mask?’ she asked in a whisper.

He left the question hanging as he patted her hair softly, he didn’t also know why and had never asked that question.

‘ What’s the situation about Damien?’

He asked, making Rhea shiver more, he embraced her , slowly kissing her forehead to assure her everything was going to be fine.

‘ Still in the same position as I informed you, I can’t tell his next plan of action.’ Rowland said as he walked to the mini bar to get a drink.

‘ Why did he kidnap me in the first place?’ she asked.

‘ I don’t know. What did he say?’

‘ He said he was grateful to me for making you fall in love. He talked about convincing you to get your attention off the Chester’s Enterprise.’

‘ Just like I expected.’

‘ Do you still want my best friend’s family wealth?’

He watched her saying nothing.

He was scared, scared of losing her and also scared of losing the Chester’s Enterprise to Damien.

A knock was heard as he sighed in relief. He still didn’t have an answer to her question.

Rhea!

Cindy!

Both ladies shouted in unison as they rushed to embrace each other.

Dementrio signaled his men to leave as they obeyed immediately.

‘ What happened to you? Did he do anything that hurt you?’ Cindy threw different questions as tears dropped down.

‘ Am fine Cindy. Nothing happened.’ she assured as she embraced her again.

‘ I was really scared of losing you. Why did he involve you in his dirty games?’

‘ Cindy I can’t answer all these now, Dementrio said you found your sister.’

She freed herself from Rhea’s embrace before moving to sit on the coach.

‘ She’s my replica. Same face, and everything. I also have a cousin too.’ she answered with a a smile.

‘ Wow, why didn’t you tell her, you were her lost sister?’

‘ Don’t you understand? I slept with her husband. What if she finds out?’

‘ Maybe she can forgive you. Remember it wasn’t your intention to break her marriage.’

‘ Rhea, her marriage was already broken before the incident. Tell her to stop blaming herself.’ It was from Dementrio. They didn’t even notice he was still there .

‘ This is all your fault.’ She rushed to him as she dragged his collar.

Cindy ! Rhea cried as she tried to get her to release the tight grip.

‘ I told you the truth Cindy, Damien is the one to be blamed.’

‘ You brothers are just the same. You’re just using Rhea to cover up your sins.’

‘ I love Rhea and that’s the only reason I told you the truth. Don’t think I will forget what your father did to my family.’ he answered in a flare.

‘ Instead of blaming me, why don’t you find out what happened to you. Why were you taken to the orphanage without your twin sister Cathy.’

She stopped as she thought he was right.

She just knew her name, her past was still left hidden.

Dementrio walked towards Rhea as he held her hands,

‘ I really love you and I hope you understand that I have to do this.’ he kissed her forehead before walking away.

‘ Hold on Dementrio,’ she called before bringing the same card the lady where she claimed she was raised had given her.

‘Do you know Mr. Anderson, he works in the Chester’s Enterprise where Axl works.’

‘ Yes I know all that, Mr. Anderson is Axl’s father.’

What! Both ladies shouted at the same time.

‘ You’re joking right?’ she asked with a confused face .

‘ If the name isn’t correct, I recognize the complimentary card as his own.’

He bowed as he left the room immediately.

‘ Rhea?’ she called.’ He was joking right?’

‘ I don’t think he was joking. He sounded so sincere.’

‘ We need to find this man. He sold me to an orphanage but why?’

‘ Cindy, things are getting more complicated. We need to find out the truth.’

‘ Go and get dressed, we are leaving for Chester’s Enterprise.’ she ordered.

Rhea rushed upstairs immediately with the bag Cindy had brought.

She sat on the coach as she thought of everything, firstly memories with her sister came flooding as she smiled at every moment.

If only she knew she was the daughter of the great Mr. Chester, things would have being better. Age had no memories of anything, but how did she lose all childhood memories and who was responsible for her family’s death? These questions and more flooded her mind as she thought of possible solutions.

Rhea was dressed and they left the house immediately heading for Chester’s Enterprise.
