Painful seduction

Dementrio must have advised her otherwise because she knew Rhea so much. No matter how angry she was, Rhea would never think of leaving her especially when she needed her. That was a quality she had loved to so much that she was sure only Rhea possessed. She got up and could only think of taking a shower.

Inside the bathroom, she turned the knob and allowed cold water splash on her hair. The Cold water on her hair were the best pain relieve. Rhea had thought her this method instead of consuming numerous pain killers which were dangerous to her health. She stayed there for a couple of minutes, all she wanted was the water to cure her aching limbs and muscles. Cindy doubted if it was possible for it to also cute the pain she felt in her heart.

Once she noticed, she was feeling cold, she turned the shower off and ran out naked to get her towel from the laundry basket which had all the clothing she had just washed.

She dressed simple because she had made up her mind to eat out since she wasn’t in the mood to cook anything but the dress she was wearing looked too elegant for the mood she had. She wanted something which expressed her gloomy mood just in case she met Rhea outside.

She found a dress which fitted and immediately settled for it without bothering to think of applying makeup.

She was done and went downstairs to have a look at the items which weren’t available in the kitchen so she could get them from the supermarket but then the doorbell rang. Hoping it would be Rhea, She rushed excitedly to open the doors only to discover it was the least person she had expected.

It was no other person than, Damein.

Her mood changed instantly and she tried to shut the doors but he was a step ahead of her.

” What are you doing here?” She asked in an angry tone.

“Is that supposed to be a question?”

” You’re in my house, Mr. Damien.”

” My bad.” He looked at her and noticed she wasn’t smiling,” Okay the truth is that I can’t go home and I need somewhere to stay.”

” Can you hear yourself? That’s the most ridiculous explanation I’ve heard.”

” State the obvious reasons behind your Sarcasm, my dear Cindy.” He said with both hands in his pants pocket and he had a straight expression with his eyes not blinking.

“You are a billionaire, Damien. Should I list out the houses you acquire? Tell me what you’re doing here.”

” Okay…you got me this time. I have only come to spend some time with my woman.” He said and she felt a pinch of jealousy.

“You must be at the wrong house because I know Rhea belongs to your brother.”

Instead of giving a reply to whatever she said, he laughed at her craziness. He had expected her to understand what was going on, to him this was the plainest excuse he had ever given.

He moved forward and sat comfortably on her favorite cushion.

” I don’t want a repeat of what happened the first time you came here. Please leave.”

” Cindy…you have to keep calm. Remember I’m keeping your little secret, you can at least do this for me.” He said, trying to blackmail her like he did earlier.

” What do you want, Damien?”

” It’s about Axl, I want you to dress up as Alexia Bachman and make him sign the papers.”

“I can’t do that Damien. I’m already in a lot of mess and you of all people know it’s my father’s wealth you’re trying to take.”

” You won’t have a single share in it. Your sister , Cathy won’t let you have it especially when she finds out you slept with her husband to make him transfer the health to the son of your father’s greatest enemy.”

“Stop it Damien!” She yelled, she was already upset and the expression on her face was scary but he appeared unbothered.

“The truth sometimes hurts bitterly. You know you can do nothing about that.”

“I’m in a lot of mess because of you, do yourself a favor by leaving before I call the cops on you.” She warned, fidgeting in anger. Her face was flushed red in anger, fear and agony.

” You don’t scare me Cindy Chester, you should know me. Call the Cops and I will call Cathy. She must have to know why her sister is calling the cops.”

This got into her, Damien was trying to blackmail her like he did before now but she wasn’t going to fall for it again.

Not this time, she thought.

She was going to tell Cathy the whole truth by tomorrow when they meet. The only thing she wanted was to set things right first with Rhea. She went upstairs, picked up her purse and rushed down to where Damien was sitting. He looked surprised as he saw her, dressed up like she was off to somewhere.

“What’s all this?” he asked.

“I’m leaving for an important meeting, please lock the doors when you’re done staying alone.”she ordered with finality and left.

Damien was shocked, he never expected the kind of reaction figures got. The whole Chester family had guts he was yet to discover. As he sat down, he thought if it was wise to follow her.

As she steped outside, she had a second thought if leaving Damien behind was wise. She had no important documents she was hiding and had no much expensive jewels and morever Damien was too wealthy to stoop as low as stealing from her.

She let out a sigh and assured herself nothing was going to happen before entering her car and driving off.
