“It’s Cathy. She called to ask about how you got your brand of clothing.” Dementrio had said after the call with Cathy.

” Is she suspecting me?”

“I don’t know about that.”

” That it belongs to your mum.” He answered.

While they discussed, the doctor came and they both rushed to him.

“When can she go home, doctor?”

” She can go home immediately but she should be kept under watch and return to the hospital by morning.” The doctor instructed.

“Thanks doctor, we will leave now.” She turned to Rhea.”Let’s go home Rhea. You need rest.”

” I’m not going home with you. I will spend the night with Dementrio.” Rhea spoke softly, this was the first time she was talking in 15 Minutes.

Cindy was displeased by her response but she had to keep calm, she knew Rhea was just upset for the time frame. Rhea won’t stay angry with her for a long time. Her anger was justified and she was the only family Cindy had.

“Don’t worry. She will be fine.” Dementrio had assured her.

“Just take care of her. She might stay up all night crying…please don’t let her do that.” Cindy smiled as she talked.

Dementrio nodded as Cindy left, he noticed the bond the two ladies shared was unbreakable despite the fact that they were not blood siblings.

Immediately Cindy left the room, Rhea broke down in tears as Dementrio got closer to embrace her.

“No Rhea…you did nothing wrong. She’s not angry with you.”

“Are you sure?”

They remained in that position for a while before Rhea freed herself after giving her consent that she could be taken home.

Dementrio obeyed and carried her even though she declined and insisted she walked.

” I think I forgot my keys inside.”

She looked at him weirdly before he brought out his hands to apologize.

” Calm down my queen.” She could only look at her eyes.

” Wait here…I wouldn’t spend an extra second.” He kissed her before rushing Inside, as he was leaving his wallet fell and she picked it up.

As she returned to an upright position, she met face to face with the scary man she had seen in Dementrio ‘s house.

She opened her mouth to scream but no sound came out.

” Are you scared Rhea?” He asked in a hoarse voice that made her flench.

“Damien and Demetrio are step brothers.” He revealed.

“No…that’s why I’m informing you. Since you are much closer to him, you can tell him the truth.”

“That’s absurd. It’s not my personal matter.”

“You really don’t know your worth.”

“What do you mean? You’re confusing me?”

“The young master loves you so much, he can do anything you say and won’t stay angry with you for long.”

“But you hated me before now. Now you’re acting so good.”

” You don’t want him to love?” She asked, making a face.

” No, until you came, Dementrio was so Keen in getting the Chester’s properties but now you’re here, he doesn’t want to hurt your friend because of you.”

Rhea was taken aback, until now she hadn’t realized how much Dementrio loved her, he was willing to stop his quest for wealth just to make her happy.

“You might also be right Miss Rhea but Dementrio had vowed to avenge his father’s death.”

” He’s coming. Act normal.” He said before leaving for the car he came with.

As he explained himself, Rhea watched him with concerned eyes, whatever the man with the mask was true. Demetrio really cared about her.

” I see you were making friends.” He said and pointed to The masked man.

“He seems friendly even though he’s scary.”

” We would go to the pharmacy to get these drugs then I need to get some items for your dinner.”

” Are all these necessary? I don’t want any of them.” She made a pitiful face to influence his decision but he wasn’t going to take it.

” From now, you will have to listen to me. I’m not joking about it. Don’t make any faces.”

She stamped her feet in anger but Dementrio said nothing, she knew she couldn’t change his decision so she stopped her game.

They got into the car and Dementrio started the ignition but not without stealing a kiss from Rhea. She blushed at the reality of what had happened but turned away quickly as Forged annoyance.

He understood what she wanted, he turned her face and kissed her again, this time longer than the first. Rhea who had earlier forged annoyance reciprocated the feeling.

They freed themselves in no time, and Dementrio drove off.
