Living With My Lady Boss

Chapter 1410

Of course, Wilbur knew that his spirit had been intruded.

Nevertheless, he did not respond with a counter-attack. Instead, he let this intrusive spirit energy spread throughout his consciousness.

Countless devastating memories of his past filled his mind, worsening his mood by the second as his expression turned to one of deep sadness.

The intrusive spirit energy continued to spread in his sea of consciousness, magnifying his grief.

From the few people from his past whom he felt like he had let down, to regret over past mistakes he had made, Wilbur's depressive thoughts grew until he felt like he was a burden to the world and better off dead.

Wilbur's expression slowly drained of all hope, morphing into a wild grimace.

The next second, Wilbur's soul lit up with a golden flame that rippled into its surroundings.

Wilbur could not help but sigh. He had wanted to find out just how far this spirit intruder was willing to go, only for his soul to respond defensively on its own.

Wilbur took charge of his soul at once, spreading his spirit energy across the entire floor he was staying on.

The figure at the door eventually appeared in his sea of consciousness as Wilbur's spirit energy filled the room.

Wilbur did not attack the figure at the door at once. In fact, he had not even let the figure realize that he had already broken free of the intrusive force.

Despite the spirit energy of the figure at the door being powerful, Wilbur's was all the more terrifying to overpower the former without them even realizing.

After all, the gap between their levels was too far. Wilbur was already at the Emperor level, and the figure at the door was merely of Ambience level who specialized in spirit energy.

The figure's spirit energy was currently wandering around Wilbur's sea of consciousness, continuing to attack it in an attempt to find his soul.

Wilbur smiled and activated the Faith Seal.

A thought was planted into the figure's consciousness at once, but he was completely unaware of it.

"You shall die at the hands of your master."

The thought was emblazoned onto the figure's soul without him even realizing it.

Right after that, Wilbur purposefully rippled his spirit energy more than usual.

The man at the door shifted at once, disappearing out of sight in seconds. Wilbur let out a satisfactory chuckle.

Wilbur did not know who this man was or who sent him here, but he did not care at all.

The only reason Wilbur had not killed the guy was so that he could try out the Faith Seal.

The power was said to plant whatever thought into the victim's head and fiercely convince them that that was the truth and nothing else.

It was clear what the consequences of blindly and firmly believing something were.

After giving it some thought, Wilbur figured that he did not have much else to do and headed out to the beach.

Morburn was a pretty famous tourist destination, and it would be a shame if he missed going out for a stroll.

Theo, on the other hand, hid in a little hut tucked into a small alley after leaving the hotel.noveldrama

There was hardly any light in the room. Theo sat in the darkness, his brows tightly furrowed.

Upon receiving his order, he located the target quickly enough and began searching for him with his spirit energy.

Theo's spirit energy attacks were extremely special. He was able to intrude into another person's consciousness without them realizing it, manipulating their emotions before going in for the kill when the chance came.

The operation had started off brilliantly, and Theo even felt like his chairman had been worrying too much. He could take this guy down for sure.
