Hailey’s Point of View

I woke up because I heard noise coming from downstairs. I heard someone open the door.

I slowly opened the door of my room and I also slowly went downstairs. The surroundings are dark and only the light of the moon serves as light.

When I was downstairs I didn’t notice anything strange but when I approached the door I heard a noise coming from outside.

“Have you done what I told you?”

“Voice of a familiar woman but who?” I softly asked.

I heard footsteps and it was moving away from the door.

I slowly opened the door so I could see who or what was outside.

I saw Nadia wearing a black jacket and black pants.

“What is she doing outside in the middle of the night?”

“Who is she talking to?”

She was talking to a man but I could not see his face because he was wearing a mask. Everything he was wearing was black.

“I’ve already done your order but I’ve noticed that there are more guards surrounding the whole place compared to before.”

“We’ll have a hard time making the plan.” I heard Nadia say that.

“What are they talking about?”

“Why does it seem important?”

I saw the bracelet on Nadia’s left hand.

“The bracelet on Nadia’s left hand. I’ve seen that.”

“Right. I saw that bracelet on the hand of the woman who hurt me and the woman who kidnapped me.” I said in my mind.

“Why is that bracelet on Nadia’s left hand? Who are you really?”

Nadia and the man walked away from the dorm. I opened the door when I saw that they were far away.

I went out and closed the door. I secretly follow them.

They looked behind them and I immediately hid in the tree.

“Are you feeling weird?” The man asked.

“I think, I just feel like wild animals are watching us.” Nadia says.

“Don’t mind them. They are nothing.”

They kept walking and I just kept following them.

They stopped at an abandoned building. This is the building where the woman took me to hurt me.

“What are you doing here, Nadia?”

Several men wearing a black jacket and pants came out from inside the abandoned building.

“How are you doing watching the whole university?” Nadia asked them.

The leader of the men approached Nadia.

“We noticed that there were more guards and they were more restrictive.” The leader said.

I was about to leave this place but I stepped on a tree branch.

“Who’s there ?!” Nadia shouted.

I hid in a tree and suddenly someone put a hand in my mouth.

“Don’t make any noise.” He whispered in my ears.

“I’ll take my hand out of your mouth but don’t make any noise. Are we clear?” He added.

I just nodded in response that I agreed.

He removed his hand from my mouth and he came in front of me.

“Raze?”

“Yes, I am.”

“What are you doing here and why did you follow them into their territory?”

“Because I saw Nadia. So I followed her.”

“Nadia is not your friend anymore.”

“I’m confused by what you’re saying.”

“It’s not yet set for you to know the truth.”

“I have a question.”

“What question?”

“Is my suspicion correct?”

“Is it true that Nadia and the woman who hurt me are one?”

He did not answer my question because someone threw a knife at us with blood.

“It’s better if we leave this place because they might hurt you if they saw you.”

He put his hand on my waist and he jumped into the tree.

In the tree we passed to get stuck in Nadia’s territory.

We went down to the front of the dorm.

“Don’t tell anyone what you’ve seen and heard.”

“No one know about what you’ve see before and even your friends you can’t tell them because they will be perish.” He explained.

“How about you?”

“I can take care of myself. You go inside the dorm.”

“One more thing, don’t let Nadia know you already know about her plan.”

I nodded and entered the dorm. I went to my room and I closed the door.

“All this time, she was just pretending that we were her friends and she didn’t want to hurt us but the truth is she had a plan to hurt us.”

I picked up a box that was under my bed and opened it.

Here are the pictures of me with Nadia and my other friends.

“Our admission to Vampire University is the reason why Nadia and I, have changed our friendship.”

“Greed and darkness swallowed her whole being.”

“The former Nadia I knew has completely disappeared. Our old friendship has been erased. Everything has changed.”

As I looked at the pictures I felt tears dripping from my eyes.

“At first I was suspicious of Agatha but I proved that she couldn’t do that to me.”

“I don’t think my suspicion of Nadia is real and not just fiction.”

“Why with so many people here at the university is the person I trusted and loved like my real sister the one who would want me to die?”

I took all the pictures of where Nadia was with us and I broke them all.

“A friend who has never been faithful to me should be destroyed and punished.”

“Nadia, the day will come when I will give back everything you did to me. You will beg in front of me and say that you hope you didn’t just hurt me and betray me but when that day comes it will be too late.”

“Because that day, I forgot that I already had a friend like you.”

Suddenly a fire came out of my right hand but I was not hurt.

I put all the broken pictures on the fire and it all burned.

Everything turned to ashes and there was not even the slightest picture of her face left.

“You’ll burn in hell, Nadia. And I’ll make sure I take you there.”

“I am your friend but from now on, I will be your worst enemy.”
