True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz)

Chapter 2202

Chapter 2202

Claudia and Sebastian encountered a traffic jam on the way back. An accident had occurred which blocked an exit of a crossroad.

As they waited for the traffic to clear up, they thought of turning around and trying another route. However, the route behind them was blocked by too many cars for them to turn around. Hence, they were stuck here. They could neither advance nor turn around.

However, Claudia was not anxious at all. On the contrary, she didn't mind the situation since that meant she could spend more time with Sebastian.

The driver looked ahead several times, waiting for the cars to clear up.

The intersection was in a mess as the traffic police had yet to arrive.

"Why don't you go down and ask about the situation?" Sebastian said to the driver.

"Yes, Young Master Sebastian," The driver quickly got out of the car and left to appraise the situation.

There were only two people left in the car. Claudia blinked and looked at Sebastian beside her. She grinned cheekily.

There was a crafty glint in her bright eyes as she stared at him. Sebastian was quite unnerved and uncomfortable.

"Why are you looking at me?" He asked, unable to contain himself any longer.

"How would you know I was looking at you if you weren't looking at me too?" Claudia shot back righteously, as though she was in the right. Sebastian pursed his lips and turned to stare at her.

Claudia's smile widened, "I feel like you removed the driver so you can have some time alone with me, am I right?"

Upon hearing this, he frowned.

"What's wrong with you?"

Claudia shrugged, "Everything is wrong with me. And you're the medicine for my condition."Belonging © NôvelDram/a.Org.

Sebastian averted his gaze to the window of the car, ignoring her. Claudia had probably gone mad.

However, Claudia reached out and tugged on his sleeve, "Hey, stop being such a buzzkill. There's only the two of us in the car now, so why don't we have a heart-to-heart conversation?" "Do I look like I want to do that with you?"

Sebastian's tone was sarcastic and he showed her no mercy.

"Come on," She wasn't mad at all. Instead, she still had a silly smile plastered on her face.

Sebastian pursed his lips and decided to ignore her again. Instead, he looked at the scenery outside the car window. The neon lights were lighting up the city, and cars were honking everywhere in the streets that night.

Claudia took a glance at him and tried to guess Sebastian's feelings.

"You know? There are times you have to be brave," She said, "Let's be open with each other. Pushing aside our age gap, you do have some feelings for me, don't you? You wouldn't be so torn if I were your age, am I right?"

Sebastian sat there, lost in thought.

He was asking himself the same question. Would he fall for Claudia if they were the same age?

"I will assume I am right if you don't speak," She said.

Just then, her phone vibrated and Claudia took it out, only to realize that it was a message from Kendrix.

She opened up the message and decided to reply to him later. This was the only chance she had, so she had to ask Sebastian this question now. The driver would be back soon, and she didn't know when she would see Sebastian again.

Therefore, she was determined to seize this opportunity now.

Another message came. Claudia glanced at it briefly but still did not reply. Then, she looked at Sebastian again.

This time, he was looking at her calmly.

She raised her eyebrows, saying, "You don't dare to admit I'm right, do you? I only want an answer, but of course, you have the right to remain silent. I won't force you."

"Claudia," Sebastian finally spoke. It was as if he was going to face the problem directly now.

"Yes? Go on," She was all ears.

"I won't fall for you," He said slowly and firmly, "Not now, and not in the future."

Her heart tightened when she heard it.

The color drained from her face, and she looked quite pale and distraught.

Claudia looked at Sebastian for a long time without saying a word.

He didn't turn his head away from her and just stared right back at her. It was as if he decided that his words did not add enough salt to her injury.

"I don't know what happened nor who gave you the illusion to make you think that I like you. Similarly, I have no idea where you picked the confidence to think so," His words were merciless as he continued, "I just think that this entire situation is weird and funny. You're just a childish and irrational woman."

His words insulted her badly.

So it seemed that to him, she was no more than acting childish and irrational.

Haha.

Claudia laughed bitterly.

She looked at the beautiful young man in front of her. Indeed, he was more mature than she was.

Maybe she was wrong.

She was wrong to confess her feelings to him so early after barely getting to know him.

After all, he was still a kid.

Her smile grew wider, but her eyes dimmed. She was upset and disappointed.

However, she had no regrets.

Anyone would feel a wrench in their heart when they saw her now.

Sebastian gazed at Claudia and continued to throw in more brutal comments.

"You're not even that pretty. Even if we were the same age, I would never fall like such an ordinary girl like you."

Oh, so she wasn't pretty enough, huh?

Claudia's heart tightened once again.

He actually threw such an insult at her. She knew she didn't have what it took to be a supermodel, but she had never thought that she was ugly.

What was his taste in women? Claudia wondered who sort of woman would Sebastian finally deem as pretty enough for his standards.

She was not sure.

She looked up and nodded solemnly. Then, she chuckled softly and said, "Alright Since that's the case, I will stop bothering you. There are so many fish out in the sea, so don't have to be hung up over you alone."

She smiled, but her smile didn't reach her eyes at all. It was as if she was putting on a brave face.

Claudia was someone with pride and courage. Now that someone had trampled all over her sincerity, she had no reason to continue letting herself be humiliated.

"I thought too highly of myself and

thought that you would like me. Don't worry. I'll forget about all these soon, and I will not bother you anymore," She smiled, "Well, now" that is all said, I guess I'll leave here now. I don't think I'll be meeting Kendrix at your place."

After that, Claudia opened the car door and got ready to get out.

Sebastian observed the situation and grunted, "Are you mad? We're in a traffic jam now. Even if you want to leave, wait until you meet Kendrix." "There's no need to," She insisted, "I don't think it's necessary."

"Claudia Loris." His eyes narrowed as he growled.

However, Claudia just smirked, "Don't stop me. If you don't mean it, don't interfere with my decisions. I think it's better for me to get off here."

"Are you sure you're not doing this on impulse?" He asked coldly.

"Of course not," She shot back, "I'm quite sure."

She got out of the car the moment she finished speaking.

Just then, the driver returned. When he saw Claudia get out of the car, he immediately asked, "Miss Loris, why did you get out of the car? It's too dangerous here."

"Can you please help me unload my luggage? I am going to find somewhere to crash around here. I will not be going over to the mansion. Don't worry, I will contact Kendrix myself."

The driver was still worried and wanted to stop her, "But-"

"No huts."

"Help Miss Loris unload her luggage," Sebastian suddenly shouted from inside the car.

The driver was stunned, but he couldn't refuse orders. He helped Claudia remove her luggage from the trunk.

Claudia dragged her luggage and shuttled back and forth in the stream of cars.

After a while, she disappeared.
