True Fated Marriage (Grace and Heinz)

Chapter 2007

Chapter 2007

Celeste's words stopped Gary from saying everything he wanted to say. She didn't want to hear his explanation.

At that moment, he realized her intentions of wanting to avoid this.

He opened his mouth but the words were stuck in his throat.

He could only remain silent and say nothing.

Just then, he was looking at her with eager eyes.

She turned her head to face the other way.

Her voice sounded again. "I feel like sleeping a bit more. Join me. You didn't sleep well too. You can just lie there if you couldn't fall back to sleep."

He heard her. Although her tone was calm, he felt a great pang grip his heart.

Shame and self-blame filled him in an instant. He pursed his lips and agreed. Then, he hurried to lie down again.

Gary took a deep breath. The rims of his eyes were red but he still took her into his arms.

Celeste didn't move but she spoke again, "Get

some sleep. Isn't it uncomfortable to hold me?"

He froze and felt a little awkward.

However, he was reluctant to leave her warmth. Even if they were not doing anything, he felt comforted and secure.

He knew what she meant by uncomfortable.

His body couldn't stay calm as he hugged her.

And she could feel it. Neither of them could sleep in such a way.

Even so, he didn't want to let go.

He was afraid that he would lose her as soon as he let go.

"It doesn't matter," Gary muttered, "I don't need that much sleep."

Celeste frowned, worried he wouldn't be able to sleep well. So she struggled out of his embrace.

With nothing left in his arms, his heart sank. He stared blankly at her back. His eyes dimmed when he saw her evasion, but it did not stop him from pulling her into his arms again.

This time, he wrapped his arms around her tightly, leaving no chance for her to escape.

She froze as if she was imprisoned. However, she did not attempt another escape.

She knew him well enough to know that struggling

They had been sharing a bed for some time so they had gotten used to hugging each other to sleep.

Almost every time they lay in bed together, they would end up doing it all night. Now that something like this had happened, he respected her boundaries.

Gary didn't force her to do more and he proved it with his actions.

However, it made Celeste feel even more jealous.

With just a slight movement, she could feel the changes in his body.

He was heating up behind her and she felt it. Her heart was swaying.

She knew what he wanted.

But he didn't move.

Instead, he endured the urge.

This did not seem like the usual him at all.

She knew he hated himself for his mistake.

He had never once admitted to his mistakes.

But with his heart filled with guilt, he had to present himself as gentlemanly as possible.

What should she do?

After hesitating for a while, Celeste said, "You'd better let go." "I won't." Gary's tone was firm.

"If you continue like this, I won't be able to sleep. Well both feel miserable." She emphasized her words as she looked down to catch sight of the arms around her waist. She stared at them.

He was conflicted but he didn't care.

With a sudden movement, he turned her over and got above her.

Seeing that he was staring at her, she was startled. "What are you doing?"

"Since you can't sleep, let's do it," he said with his eyes piercing through her.

She gasped and her face turned red.

"I regret refusing you yesterday," Gary announced.

Celeste's face turned even redder.

She widened her eyes and stared at him angrily. "Let me go."

"I won't," he insisted as he grinned at her.

He understood that he had to be thick-skinned to deal with a woman like her.

He didn't want to lose her, even if he did do her wrong. Therefore, he could only be brazen to make her stay.

"Gary." She noticed he had suddenly regained his

confidence and self-assurance. She looked at him with a resentful gaze.

"Don't look at me like that. The more

you look

me like that, the more

want to take you now," He re

saide

earnestly, "The only woman Lever wanted is you, Celeste."

That was an unusual confession.

"I can't guarantee you everything. All I know is can't lose you," Gary finally said what he wanted to say. "No matter what happens, I hope that we will be together forever."

"Let me go," Celeste growled, "I'm tired. I want to go to sleep and not talk about this now."

"Feel free to do so," He said, "Instead of a stalemate, why don't we enjoy ourselves now? You'll be able to sleep more comfortably later."

As he said that, the grin on his face grew wide and his hands started touching her all over. Then he took her hands and guided them down his body. Shocked, she withdrew her hands.

However, he restrained her before she could escape.

That way, his hands were on hers while her hands were on his lower body.

"I'll pinch you if you don't let go." She was starting to feel nervous.

"Go ahead." He looked at her calmly, allowing her to do whatever she wanted.

It seemed like he was confident she would not hurt him.

Celeste pursed her lips and pinched him.

Gary's eyes narrowed from the pain but he didn't cry out.

He inhaled and exhaled slowly with that grin firmly fixed on his face. He was sure that she would not hurt him.

Enraged, she exerted more force on her hands.

Still, there was no cry of pain.

She knew it must be painful, especially at such a sensitive spot. Even a tiny pinch would send anyone crying in pain.

However, he did not say a word or even make a sound.

"You!" Celeste raised her head and glared at Gary, trying to hide her guilt with fury.

Wasn't he afraid that she would break him?

Or hurt him by accident?

If it did

he would never be able to enjoy the pleasures of acy ever gain.

But he showed no fear.

He did not cry out in pain, nor did he stop her.

She was frightened.

His expression had been changing

as he stared at her. But he still kept smiling at her with a tender gaze. It was as if her squeeze brought no pain to him.

Celeste wanted to say something but she didn't know what to say. She looked away, let go, and did nothing.

Gary sighed when she avoided him.

He hugged her tightly, burying his face in her neck. A triumphant smile appeared on his face.

It seemed that she was reluctant to part with him too.

His eyes lit up. Now that he knew about her feelings, all he needed was to gain her forgiveness. Then they could still be together.

He continued to look at her.

"Why weren't you afraid that I would break you?" Celeste asked.

Gary smiled. "I don't mind if that's what you wanted."
