Chapter 130 You Don’t Want to Be Friends With Me

Axel tightly clutched his top, offering no response to Liora’s remark. He didn’t want them to see

how Daniella treated him.

Seeing that Axel remained silent, Liora came up with another idea. “It seems you don’t want to be

friends with me. I shouldn’t have helped you if that’s the case!”

Tyler suppressed a smile as he observed Liora skillfully provoking Axel.

For a brief moment, guilt and panic flickered in Axel’s eyes. “Villa Rosa. You can come on

Saturday.”

Liora sweetly smiled and extended her little finger toward Axel. “It’s a playdate then. We’re

coming to you on Saturday!”

The sight of her finger stunned Axel. He anxiously clenched his fist before slowly making a pinky

promise with Liora.

During the night, Reuben shared the investigation’s findings with Evan. One folder contained

information about preschool students‘ parents, while the other was dedicated to Caroline.

Upon reading Caroline’s folder, Evan frowned. “Carolyn Shenton?”

Reuben confirmed, “Yes, her name is Carolyn Shenton. She used to live in Ylesir but recently

returned to the country. She purchased a building across from ours to set up her company.”

Evan placed the folder on the table and inquired, “Do we have a photo of her?”

Reuben replied, “Unfortunately, Mr. Jordan, there’s no photo available.”

“None?” Evan’s eyes narrowed. “That’s odd unless she purposely concealed it. Have you looked into

her background?”

Reuben explained, “Our team found an ID card, but it’s blurred out.

Evan sneered, thinking, ‘Caroline’s guilt must be consuming her!‘

He lit a cigarette, took a puff, and added, “Find out her current address.”

Reuben said, “I can’t, Mr. Jordan. Her address has been blurred as well. Ms. Shenton has an

excellent hacker working for her.”

Evan frowned. “Send someone to watch her.”

“Yes, sir!”

Reuben left the room while Evan walked to the floor–to–ceiling window, gazing out into the night. All text © NôvelD(r)a'ma.Org.

If he hadn’t seen the two children, he would have believed the information to be authentic.

Caroline’s failure to hide the children was a waste, especially since the children looked so much

like him.

He had been searching for her for five long years, and he wouldn’t let her disappear again this

time.

At Bayview Villa.

Caroline suddenly woke up, sitting upright in bed.

She had dreamt of Evan demanding his children back.

When she refused, he made every effort to abduct them.

Learning about this, Daniella beat up her children, and their cries haunted Caroline.

Caroline hurried to check on her kids in their room, feeling relieved when she saw their adorable

sleeping faces.

After returning to her room, Caroline tossed and turned in bed.

Having encountered Evan multiple times, she questioned her impulsive decision to insist on

sending her children to the same preschool as his son’s.

After all, most preschools had adequate security, making it unnecessary for her kids to attend the

same one.

She regretted her choice and wondered whether it was still possible to switch schools.

On Saturday morning, Caroline wanted to join Kenny in searching for a clothing factory for sale.

She entrusted her sleeping children to Lily and left.

Lily checked on the kids and found them still asleep before heading out for grocery shopping.

As soon as the door closed, Tyler and Liora opened their eyes simultaneously.

Tyler looked at Liora and said, “Lia, get dressed. We’re heading out.”
