Chapter 129 Too Alike

Caroline glanced at Lily and said, “I think he’ll recognize me soon.”

Lily asked in astonishment, “You mean Mr. Jordan?”

Caroline nodded, recounting the incident at the kindergarten earlier that day.

Lily sighed. “It’s inevitable, Carol. Maybe it’s not such a bad thing for him to find out.”

Caroline was deeply concerned. “I worry he’ll stop me from seeking revenge. After all, Daniella is

his child’s biological mother.”

“Don’t see it that way,” Lily said, guiding Caroline to sit down. “I told you before, Mr. Jordan was

heartbroken in the past. If he cares for you, he’ll support you and be on your side.”

Caroline fell silent, unable to let go of the past incident when Evan doubted her and attempted to

take her children away. Those two issues still haunted her.

Trying to change the subject, Caroline said, “I’m hungry, Ms. Smith. What’s for dinner?”

Lily smiled helplessly.

On Wednesday, Kenny and his team arrived in Angelbay City.

Caroline had arranged a bus to pick them up from the airport. The team, consisting of over 20

people, made a grand exit. All rights © NôvelDrama.Org.

As soon as the bus stopped, Caroline got out to welcome Kenny, calling out, “Kenny!”

Kenny smiled and ran over to embrace her. “I’ve missed you so much! It’s been too long!”

Caroline playfully pushed him away. “You’re hugging me too tightly!”

Kenny then planted a kiss on Caroline’s cheek before loosening his grip. “I love your gentle,

motherly aura the most.”

Caroline blushed and said, “I’ll send you back to Ylesir if you keep behaving like this.”

Kenny chuckled “Relax, woman.”

Nearby, Evan stepped out of his car and witnessed the scene.

Reuben was standing next to him and was stunned. The woman looked remarkably similar to

Caroline, except for her concealed facial features.

Reuben couldn’t help but wonder about the person’s ashes buried in the graveyard. He looked at

Evan shifted his gaze and said abruptly, “Look into this!”

Then he walked into the airport.

Meanwhile, at the kindergarten.

Liora played with her toys next to Axel.

“Axel, your father looks just like my brother,” she said.

Axel looked at Tyler sitting opposite him and pursed his lips.

Tyler smiled when their eyes met, but Axel quickly looked away, replying nonchalantly, “Hmm.”

Liora put down her toys and asked, “Where is your house, Axel? My mommy said friends can have playdates at each other’s houses.”

Tyler listened to Liora’s question with a smile. He had given Liora this task–to find something that could be used for a DNA match to prove that Evan was their father.
