Chapter 550
Noelle finally remembered who the woman was and asked, "What do you need?"
"Just come with me, okay?"
The woman's cheeks were flushed, as if she were too embarrassed to explain.
Noelle seemed to catch on. "Do you need me to buy something for you? Or should I call a staff member?"
"No, no." The woman shook her head. "It's not what you think. Just come with me, please? I really need your help."
As she spoke, she grabbed Noelle's hand.
Noelle initially wanted to pull away, but the woman looked at her pleadingly, seemingly about to cry. Plus, Noelle figured she probably didn't know anyone else here, so she reluctantly followed in the end.
"Where are you taking me?"
It wasn't until the woman led her back to the hotel that Noelle realized something was off.
"Just come upstairs for a moment," the woman begged, still holding Noelle's hand. "If you don't, Erwin will be furious with me."
Noelle frowned. "What does that have to do with me?"
"You'll understand once you're upstairs."
The woman looked at her, tears threatening to spill from her eyes.
Noelle pressed her lips together before finally saying, "Let go of my hand. I have no intention of running away."
Hearing this, the woman sighed in relief. Then, she smiled at Noelle and released her grip.
The two took the elevators upstairs.
Noelle initially thought Erwin wanted to see her. Given his arrogance, it wouldn't be surprising if he had someone bring her to him.
But when the elevator doors opened, she saw Erwin standing there, his face dark and menacing, as if he were ready to kill her.
"I've brought her," the woman told him.
But Erwin didn't even glance at her. Instead, he grabbed Noelle's hand and dragged her inside.
Noelle was startled but had no time to stop him before she was pulled into the
room.
"I don't care what method you use, but you have to convince him to go to the hospital. Otherwise, I'll kill that man of yours-oh, and your kid, too," Erwin said through gritted teeth, as if

"If he were willing, would I have called you here?"
"He's unconscious right now, so how can he stop you from calling an ambulance?"
Erwin fell silent, narrowing his eyes at her. Then, he smirked. "Seems like I've underestimated how heartless you can bé. Hendrix is already in this state, and yet you don't seem to feel even a shred of sympathy for him."

"What he needs is a doctor, not sympathy," Noelle replied. "And did you bring me
here just to make me feel sorry for him?"
Her retort left Erwin speechless.
Noelle didn't want to waste any more time, so she said, "If that's all, I'm leaving."
She turned to go, but Erwin blocked her path.
"I didn't bring you here just to let you walk away after a few words."
What do you think?
