Ethlyn’s heart started pounding loudly in her heart the way Calvin made his way to her; his eyes were shooting daggers. She could see the tension in the environment because of him because the music had already been stopped, and not just her; everyone was looking at him.
Calvin looked like he was ready to pounce on Lemieux. Well, she wouldn’t be surprised if he would end up killing Lemieux because the look on his face was murderous.
She watched how he didn’t give a damn about anyone around but was looking at her and only at her after he was done glaring at Lemieux.
She swore that he looked extremely handsome and dangerous when he used to hold that rage in his eyes. It was written all over his face that he didn’t like her dancing with Lemieux.
‘But it’s his fault that he left us here alone and ignored us throughout the time.’ Cinder said. But at the same time, they both were scared of Calvin’s anger. Thankfully, their princess handled her father’s temper so smoothly that it didn’t save Ethlyn from Calvin’s anger for long, who continued dancing with Lemieux, even observing that he was getting irritated because of it.
Pulling Ethlyn close to him, Calvin whispered, “The moment you found that I’m not around, you started showing your true color.”
Ethlyn couldn’t understand his words at first until her eye’s widened in shock. She didn’t want to dance with him anymore and wanted to leave immediately, but Calvin didn’t let her go.
“Leave me.”
“Why? You were enjoying dancing, weren’t you? Then dance with me.”
“I don’t want to dance with you.” Ethlyn hissed and started struggling to let out of his grip. “Please don’t create a scene here, Alpha Calvin. It’s a big day in my sister’s life.”
“Then I will suggest you to dance because you’re the one who started playing with Fire. Now deal with it.” Calvin hissed, not letting her go from there. Not until he teaches her a lesson.
He started dancing harshly with her, scaring her to death. He kept twirling her for an unlimited time, and when she was about to fall because of feeling dizzy, he didn’t even hold her until the last second.
“What do you want? Make fun of me by making me fall?” Ethlyn asked in anger when Calvin saved her from falling when she was an inch away from the ground.
“No. I’m enjoying your scared expression when you feel like you’re going to kiss the ground.” Calvin grinned evilly.
All of a sudden, the song changed to some other song which Ethlyn recognized immediately. It was Fire from the movie Kites. After all, she and Reva used to jump randomly in this song. She watched everyone leaving the dance floor except them.
‘I’d be so dead if I had to dance on this song,’ She thought, and everyone started hooting and cheering for Calvin and Ethlyn.
‘Trust him, Ethlyn. He will never think of embarrassing us. At least not in public.’ Cinder said, and in the next moment, Calvin lifted in the air as if she was some gym equipment, but she controlled her fear and trusted Calvin even though he was mad.

Calvin tossed Ethlyn here and there but was assumed by her confidence when she wasn’t scared of falling anymore. When he realized that his tricks weren’t working on her, he left her went and signaled his love to join him.
Roselet grinned and did a 360-degree flip to enter the dance floor. Everyone cheered Roselet’s name, seeing her amazing entry. Soon, they started competing with each other.
“Moon Goddess!! Rose is such an amazing dance.” Reva said, coming near Ethlyn, observing her twirling on her head and lifting her full body in the air.
“Well, I guess the credit goes to her father for that,” Ethlyn said and quickly corrected herself when Brandon joined them. Three generations were dancing together, and everyone was cheering for all of them, especially Roselet, because she was giving close competition to all her elders. “Or maybe I should say, this talent run in the whole family.”
“So, true. I thought Alpha would drop you the way; he was throwing you here and there.” Reva commented next.
“That’s where everyone is wrong about him,” Ethlyn said and scolded herself for doubting Calvin in the beginning.
In the next moment, Calvin and Roselet paired up as a team, and Brandon and Tiara became another team. Ethlyn smiled when she saw Roselet’s blind trust in Calvin. He was playing dangerous stunts with her while dancing, but not once a sign of fear was on her forehead.
After ten minutes!!
“And the winner of the dance face-off is…. my great-granddaughter, My Rose.” Jasmine Smith, Ethlyn’s parental grandmother, announced. By observing them together, everyone realized from where Roselet was blessed with blue eyes. In fact, Roselet’s facial structure was also like her a little bit, especially the part above her nose.
“Thank you, Grams.” Roselet gave a flying kiss to her, on which Jasmine Smith laughed.
“Come here!!.” Emma Gilbert, Abigail’s mother and Ethlyn’s maternal grandmother, signaled Roselet to come near her. She couldn’t believe that her daughter had done something like that to her own granddaughter. Both Emma and her mate, Tobey Gilbert, were mad at their daughter when they found out the whole truth.
