“And daddy ever tried to force you to do something that you didn’t want to do? Even you would have cried to make him stop, but he didn’t stop nor listen to your request.” She asked.
“Yes. A lot of time.” Roselet complained. “Even my pout, request, and cries can’t change his mind.”
“When? What does he do you?” Ethlyn asked.
“At least once or twice a week, Mommy.” Hearing this, Ethlyn fumed in anger and was just waiting for Roselet to complete her sentence, and then that was it. “Mommy, will you make him stop doing all those things to me?”
“Of course, sweetheart!!! Just tell me that what does he do you?” Ethlyn asked in concern, seeing Roselet’s long face.
“Daddy force me to do… YOGA.” Roselet complained. Ethlyn didn’t know how to react to this. “He said that my official training would start when I will be eight years old, but he makes me do workouts in the Gym.” Roselet filed her second complain in front of her mommy.
“He makes me eat green veggies even though I don’t want to eat them. Even if I cry to convince him, but he doesn’t listen to me.” She said, filing a third complained against her daddy. ”
One after the other, Roselet shared all the childish complaints with Ethlyn, like ‘Calvin doesn’t allow her to eat ice cream more than two scoops, he doesn’t let her sleep without brushing her teeth whenever she feels lazy, he forcefully sends her to school every day without any bunk, he doesn’t let her watch cartoon till late night, and many more.’

‘Maybe he is a shameless man, but he is the best father.’ Ethlyn thought, realizing how wrong she was about him.
“Mommy, you will make him stop doing all those things to me, right?” Roselet asked hopefully. “You can’t say NO, because you said ‘of course, sweetheart.'” She added, mimicking Ethlyn. Roselet couldn’t imagine her life without any restrictions. She could bunk the school whenever she wanted to, and she did have to eat green veggies only, junk food, and many more things, but all her dreams were crushed when Ethlyn spoke.
“No, dear. Your daddy is absolutely right in all this matter.” Ethlyn said, shaking her head. Her heart melted when she saw Roselet’s long face and her puppy eyes, but she just couldn’t spoil Eoselet by supporting her in those things that weren’t right.
‘Alpha Calvin already thinks of me as a characterless woman. If I will start supporting Roselet’s these requests, then he will tag me as an irresponsible mother and throw me out of Roselet’s life. Because I’m positive that he is not dying to marry me, and just like me, he will be looking for a chance to kick me out of his and Rose’s life.’ She thought.
“But you said that you will.”
“I thought you would say that ‘Alpha Calvin scold you for unnecessary things or even hit you.’ Because daddies are generally strict ones, you know.” Ethlyn tried to make Roselet understand. “But hearing your complaints, I feel you’re blessed with the best father in the world.”
“That’s true, Mommy. Calvin is the best.” Roselet said cheerfully. “Even though I have a lot of complaints from him, it seems like it’s my destiny to live all my life with those complaints.” She faked her sadness, trying to manipulate Ethlyn for one last time.
“If Moon Goddess has sent me as his daughter to bear all these tortures and a mommy who doesn’t support me, then it’s fine.” She said dramatically.
“Drama queen!!” Ethlyn exclaimed, on which Roselet started giggling. “If you have so much from your daddy, then will you change him if Moon Goddess gives you a choose another daddy?”
“Nooooo,” Roselet yelled quickly, shaking her head. “NEVER. I love my daddy. I won’t change him even when I get a chance to choose a daddy who won’t stop me for anything.” She said.
“By the way, mommy, why were you asking all those questions?” Roselet asked.
“Nothing. Just to know your daddy in a better way.” Ethlyn replied, to which Roselet didn’t question anything next.
‘I will tell Calvin that mommy was trying to know him in a better way. Even he should do that.’ Roselet thought innocently. Little did she know that her daddy would be a walking volcano ready to burn her mommy completely after learning about this conversation.

The environment of the pack was immediately changed after that incident. Though the security of the pack had been increased along with the number of warriors in patrol but what damages had been done couldn’t be recovered. Calvin couldn’t bring the pups from the deathbed, nor could he understand the exact pain of losing a pup, but he got goosebumps when Lemieux informed him that Roselet used to play with those pups on a daily basis in the evening. Today she didn’t go to play with them because she was busy spending time with her mommy. Pups used to run out of the pack border while playing hide and seek or other games for years and had nothing happened to them, so no one had any idea of this attack. Pups who ran out of the pack for hiding disappeared first, at first a pup searching them thought they all hid at some search spot, but when he couldn’t find them even after an hour, he returned to the pack, saying that he didn’t want to play the game anymore.
