Hearing those words, Olivia stiffens, a surge of adrenaline runs through her and she clenches her jaw, gawking at Alexandra.

"What did you just say?"

"Calm down girl"

"What did you just say?" She yells, her cold gaze piercing into Alexandra's eyes.

"What did you just say to me?"

"I asked if the rumors are true"

"What rumors? Where did you hear it?"

"The rumors between you and Adams"

"Why are you questioning me? I'm only asking you since you are my sister they will likely ask me if the rumors are true"

"Sister?" Olivia chuckles, amazed. "Calm down Olivia, what did they say?"

"Why are you asking me? Shouldn't you know the rumors since you were with Adams"

"With Adams. What are you talking about?"

Alexandra bites her lower lips wondering how Olivia could still think she could put up with her lies.

"What are those shameless pack members saying?" She yells aloud

"Keep your voice down Olivia, someone might hear you"

"I don't care!" She yells. "Now tell me, tell me what they are saying when am still being nice to you"

"Being nice to me" Alexandra laughs. "Are you not overrating yourself right now? I can choose to keep quiet and tomorrow you will leave, get outside, go to the council, walk down the street and they will give you the look"

"What look?"

"The shameless look, a disgusting look"

"What are you implying? Tell me the rumors?"

"You have to tell me first of all if it's true"

Olivia nods affirmatively and Alexandra reclines in her seat "The rumors have been spreading that you and Adams are unethically meeting outside. Is it true?" Alexandra asks, curious "Are the both of you -"

Feeling enraged, Olivia yells, cutting her off "Alexandra!" Clenching her jaw tightly gazes intently at Alexandra.

"How dare you say such a thing?"

"Why are you yelling at me? Am I the one that said it? Did I start the rumors"

"Alexandra you sneaky little witch"

"Why? If you didn't want people to gossip, you shouldn't have been caught with Adams in the woods. What were you going to do with him anyway before those rogues attacked you?"

"You are pushing it"

"I don't think I am. Everyone's curious and wants to know the truth. I only wanted

to tell you what's happening so you wouldn't be taken unawares"

Olivia chuckles. "How do I know this is not your doing? How do I know you didn't start this?"

"You are shameless Olivia. Here I came bringing news so you could defend yourself and yet here you are accusing me that I am the mastermind behind the rumors" Alexandra smiles "Am I some god? Did I know about your meeting with Adams? Did I rescue you? Was I the one who treated you? No, I didn't do any of those but yet here you are accusing me as though I had the will to plan it all out" "I can see right through you"

"You create room for gossip. How could you go about meeting a man who isn't your mate? Isn't that too much?"

Feeling her adrenaline rush up, Olivia grabs her pillow and throws it at Alexandra but she dodges it.

"You are a fool, a bull, a scam of the earth Alexandra. I know what you are trying to do"

"What am I trying to do?"

"You are trying to get words out of my words but I won't let you"

"Why? Could it perhaps be out of guilt? Are those girls telling the truth?" Alexandra gasped, her eyes widened. "Do you meet Adams unethically? When did you two start meeting? Has it been over a decade or decades?"

"Alexandra!" Olivia screams out her name.

She knew that her pack members would stop at nothing to start up a story, once those girls gathered together in the council, all they did was gossip about another pack member, and often Olivia had joined them in gossiping about others but what she never expected was to become the center of rumors and gossip. "Shut your mouth"

"But I didn't start the rumors. Although I'm curious if it's true, is it?"

"Get out"

"No I can't leave, you told me you would give me the answer if I tell you the rumor and I did so is your turn to meet the end of the bargain"

"Are you that jobless? Is that the only thing you wish to know"

"Believe it or not, I only wish to help you, to stand up for you when I hear those rumors. You don't know how angry I felt when I heard them saying it, I wanted to fight for you but I realized they might be telling the truth and had evidence"

"Alexandra Guerrero, you cannot fool me. I don't believe you neither do I buy your story"

"You're just paranoid, that's why when I tell you I wish to help you, you think I want to cause harm to you. How could you think such a thing"

"Shut up!" Taking her other pillow, Olivia throws it at her but Alexandra dodges it. "Paranoid. Look here, I know what you want, I don't know what foolish lies you've heard or who started spreading those lies but don't even think of saying those rumors ever again"

"What will you do? Why are you attacking me? Shouldn't you be exerting your anger on the rogues who beat you up and caused your secret to be exposed or maybe the pack members who started the rumor"

"Shut the hell up you fool, all of this is your fault. If you hadn't come here then I wouldn't have heard about any rumors"

"So you are blaming me"

"You are despicable and I hate you so much Alexandra Guerrero, all of this is your doing. You and you alone"

Alexandra smiles. "And so? Are you done cursing?"

"Shut up you snake"

Alexandra opens her mouth to speak when husky voice chimes In. "Who is a snake?"
