THE LIE: DECEPTION TO THE CEO

Upon arriving at the prison, Amber was taken to a cell where, in addition, there were five female prisoners who looked at her and laughed among themselves. Apparently they were waiting for her. Once the warden left, they approached her and surrounded her with the intention of beating her, so they began to talk to each other.

Then, the first one slapped her hard, splitting Amber’s lip, and she started to bleed. The second one hit her hard in the abdomen, which made her double over, while two of them held her by the arms.

Amber was unable to protect or defend herself, despite her training in martial arts. Between all of them they hit her and even kicked her. She only complained, although from her mouth almost no sound came out, due to the strong weakness she presented.

Finally, the five prisoners threw her from one side to the other, as if she were a ball, and then resumed their aggressions directly against her body.

Amber was taken to the infirmary, where the doctor, upon examining her, found bleeding and fluid coming from her vagina, which was a common symptom of miscarriage.

She, upon making this diagnosis, immediately requested her transfer to a hospital, which was denied by the Director. The official denied the transfer, to comply with the request of her friend Christopher, who had called her earlier, to request that there were no considerations or privileges with this detainee.

Faced with this situation, the doctor did everything in her power for her, because the conditions inside the detention center were not the most favorable. The next day, Amber woke up with severe pain, but her moans were weak, barely audible, clearly showing how weak she felt.

Consequently, the prison doctor gave her the corresponding treatment and asked her to sleep. Otherwise, the Director contacted Christopher and informed him of what had happened, including the fact that the young woman had miscarried.

That same day, Christopher was informed by his secretary, that he had a visitor, Genesis, Amber’s friend. She asked to speak with him, to convince him to help her, because she was sure of her innocence. However, he did not receive her.

In view of this, she left in tears and decided to seek help elsewhere. Genesis went to the Corporation of Dylan Lugo, the man to whom her friend supposedly provided or sold the information, who, by the way, did receive it.

-I wanted to move you to a hospital, but they wouldn’t let me. Someone influential, apparently, wants you locked up here, for no benefit.

-My God! -She exclaimed in pain, recognizing that this was Christopher’s work. I’m sure it’s a nightmare and at any moment I’m going to wake up -she assured, trembling and trying to get up from the stretcher.

-You must calm down, don’t get up, I prefer you to stay lying down, you will be better off here in the infirmary than in the cell,” the doctor assured her.

One week later

When the doctor noticed that Amber was better, she discharged her. The doctor suggested that she stay to help her in the infirmary, offering to talk to the director, which she accepted and waited for the decision.

If there was something that caught the doctor’s attention, it was the fact that the person in charge of the checkpoint did nothing to find out what had happened? Nor why the new prisoner was beaten? As far as she knew, they did not even punish those involved in the incident.

Obviously, the director, when asked, denied the request. However, the doctor made her reason that if anything happened to the young woman, it would be her responsibility. A week later

Amber received visits from her mother and her friend, whom she told about the beating she had received. She also informed them that because of this, she lost her child, that she was pregnant and did not know it. She also told them about her suspicions that Christopher was behind the beatings, apparently he paid for her to be beaten.

Finally, her friend told her that she had talked to Dylan, and he offered to help her. For her part, Amber told him that she had already been there with a lawyer, but that she did not have any illusions.

Later, after her mother and her friend left, Amber was informed of another visit. Upon arriving at the area of the prison set up for this, she noticed someone she never imagined she would see there.
