The Great Medical Saint

Chapter 560

Matthew dismissively waved his hand. "That's enough. You may leave. What happens next has nothing to do with you."

Patrick felt like he'd dodged a bullet. He waved at his men behind him and hurried off with his group of about ten people. The room fell silent instantly, but the vibe turned a little eerie.

Wyatt held his puffy and bruised face, standing off to the side in shock as he looked at Matthew. He just couldn't wrap his head around who Matthew was and why Patrick was afraid of him.

The woman in the flashy outfit remained in her seat. She looked stupefied, not moving an inch.

Rachel couldn't believe that Matthew had taken care of everything without even trying. It was easier than she thought.

Matthew reached out and tugged at Rachel's shirt. He pulled her forward, indicating that it was her turn to talk.

Rachel cleared her throat and joined the table. "I run a legitimate business, Mr. Reynolds. I don't know who you are or what you do, but I'm not looking for trouble, and I don't want to make enemies. Just hand over the formula of Silvaris Pharmaceuticals, and we'll go our separate ways."

Wyatt rubbed his sore cheeks and coldly said, "I just got slapped twice. Yet, you expect things to be over just like that?"

Rachel furrowed her brows. With a look of disdain, she glared at Wyatt and added, "You were the one who took the formula from my pharmaceutical factory. You started this. What else do you want?"

Wyatt snapped, "After being slapped twice, I can't just let it slide!"

He was bold enough to say that was because he was just a pawn that had been put in the spotlight.

The person who wanted to take down Silvaris Pharmaceuticals wasn't Wyatt, but a big shot. With them backing Wyatt up, Wyatt felt confident.

Matthew had enough and coldly remarked, "Are you out of your mind? It was Patrick who hit you, and that has nothing to do with us. If you're looking to settle the score, go after him. Why are you so quiet now? Aren't you a coward?"

This bastard... Upon getting shut down, Wyatt was furious, and his face turned red. He gritted his teeth and said, "I'm going to get back at him one day."

Those two slaps from Patrick weren't something Wyatt would let go easily. As long as the big shot put his word out, the Brotherhood would be a thing of the past.

Matthew warned, "Patrick took a swing at you, so go get your revenge on him. You took our formula. Now, give it back to me."

Wyatt grunted. "You want the formula, right? Sure. It isn't with me, so I'll have to go grab it. Are you brave enough to come with me?"

Matthew looked at Rachel. She was the president, so it was her call. Rachel was worried, but she had to retrieve the formula. Still, she didn't

want to just blindly go with Wyat!??

without knowing where they were heading.

"Where are we going?"

Wyatt responded, "Arcadia. Do you dare to come with me?"

Arcadia? Rachel looked surprised when she heard that. "W-who are you? Who's your boss?"

She looked into Wyatt's background

and found out that he was the owner

of a pharmaceutical company. It

was a small company worth several million dollars. But someone bold enough to mess with the Carter family couldn't be just a nobody. noveldrama

Arcadia? Matthew was somewhat surprised as well. He had heard of Arcadia long before his prison time.

Arcadia was a spa, but only its members could enter. It felt more like a club.

The members there were either rich or influential. Some said the club was tied to a certain family, and there were also rumors that it was run by the spouse of a higher executive or the mistress of a big shot.

Arcadia was famous because the women there were known to be really pretty.

There was a saying in Lambda City—that hanging around Arcadia was the best way to find attractive women.

The beauties at Arcadia came in different styles. When they clocked out, it was like a modeling agency wrapping up for the day.

At that time, it was hard to tell if Wyatt wanted to head there for negotiation or if the person behind him was the owner of Arcadia.

With a grim expression, Wyatt remarked, "You're not all that special just because

your family is rich, Rachel. You're just a business person.

"In modern times, when it comes to government officials, business people, staff, and farmers, the farmers are at the bottom. Staff only a tad bit better than them. Business people can be rich, but money is all they have, making them only slightly above the staff and farmers.

"The truth is that you're nothing in front of a certain group of people. If you want

the formula, come with me to Arcadia. If you're too scared, just forget about it, and don't make things harder for yourself."
