The Great Medical Saint

Chapter 541

Suddenly, memories from 70 to 80 years ago resurfaced in his mind, and a hint of horror and fear flashed in Brad's eyes.

Right after, the fear in his eyes turned into ferociousness. Even his dimmed and old eyes were bursting with an immense murderous intent.

"You did a great job. I would've taken them out as well, so what you did was considered meritorious. I'll treat you to a meal after everything's over!"

After he said that, Brad switched the topic and asked, "What about those 15 other people? What's their identity, and why did you kill them?"

Upon hearing that, Matthew responded coldly, "They're security guards."

Brad was stunned for a moment before he angrily asked, "Why did you kill them then?"

Matthew replied, "There's a reason why I killed them. Sebastian was a healthy man through and through, but they treated him as a psychiatric patient and even tried to give him medication. They wanted to torture him into becoming a real psychiatric patient.

"These security guards aren't here to protect the safety of the hospital but to help commit crimes with the director of the hospital! They're accomplices, so they deserved it!"

Brad went silent when he heard what Matthew had said. He never imagined that the security guards would turn out to be accomplices.

After a while, he thought of something and said, "Horace is here in Lambda City, but you can't do anything to him even if he comes to you!"

"Why?" Matthew questioned icily.

Brad fumed a little and replied, "Isaac's the one who's in the wrong, and you've already killed him. So, why would you want to mess with Horace too?"

Matthew then stared at the ground. By now, Dallas' wounds have already clotted, and his face was pale while his body was in a weakened state.

The anesthetic had begun to wear off, and Dallas was groaning in pain.

Then, Matthew retracted his line of sight and said, "The director of the psychiatric hospital is Dallas. He's from the Wood family and said that he moved to Eastoria several generations ago.

"Horace was the one who helped him establish this hospital."

Listening to that, Brad's eyes narrowed sharply, and he sat upright. "What are you trying to say? That Horace has connections with Eastoria?"

(

This made his scalp feel as if it would explode. It didn't matter what sort of issue Isaac had going on because that would at most be personal. But Brad couldn't imagine what would go down if Horace had connections with Eastoria.

The moment Hugh heard that question, he sat upright. The indifference on his face disappeared and was replaced by a malicious demeanor.

His gaze was as sharp as an unsheathed sword, and he exuded the might of a veteran soldier who had braved through countless battles. Hugh's eyes were overflowing with murderous intent.

Matthew answered confidently, "That's right. Horace has connections with Eastoria."

Brad put on a grave expression and asked, "What's your proof?"

Soon, Matthew replied in a thunderous voice, saying, "Dallas imprisoned Theo Campbell to acquire the medical literature, Integrative Medicine.

"Dallas is a member of Red Wolves, and Red Wolves is a force and power from Eastoria. But Horace is shielding Dallas. Isn't this proof enough?"

At that, Brad finally realized that the situation was much worse than expected. "Matthew! Horace holds a significant position, and it would affect everything else if you mess with him.

"The aftermath would be too great to handle if he dies. It doesn't matter how good of a reason you have-you're not allowed to kill him!"

Matthew raised his brows when he heard Brad's response, but a group of people entered just as he was about to speak.

Matthew then looked toward thenoveldrama

group of people. The person who led

the group was an old man, but he

had a strong and imposing

demeanor, as well as a distinctive air of a soldier's prowess.

There were three other people who followed behind him, and they were all dressed in military uniforms, which added to their fierce and imposing presence.

Dallas was lying on the ground with a pale face and weak body as he groaned in pain. But when he saw the group of people coming, he was overjoyed.

"Save me, Uncle Horace! He's trying to kill me!"

Immediately, Matthew understood that the old man was Horace. He then told Brad over the phone, "Horace is here, so I'm hanging up!"

The wind had died down, and so had the rain. With the car still driven forward,

Brad let out an alarmed expression when he heard that Horace had arrived.

If Matthew killed Horace, a General, wouldn't that equal the entire nation falling into chaos?

Just this thought alone made Brad

anxious, and he roared at Trevor "Come on! Drive faster! I don't care what you have to do, but we need to get to the psychiatric hospital this instant!"
