The Great Medical Saint

There were corpses strewn all across the ground, and it was truly a horrifying

sight.

Fresh blood had dyed the trickling rainwater a crimson red, and all of the rainwater pooled together before streaming in the same direction.

Both Lucien and Leo felt a chill run down their spines when they took note of the situation. They had gone numb from the shock.

It wasn't as if they'd never seen the aftermath of a small-scale battle since they had participated in multiple army training sessions and had even gone overseas for peacekeeping missions.

However, they had yet to encounter such a sight, and they were frozen in place under the heavy rain whilst their faces turned pallid from the blow.

Only after a long period of time did they make eye contact and notice the shock in each other's eyes.

Then, Leo started, "Did... Did he kill them all?"

Lucien had yet to fully recover from the shock, but he still replied, "I think so... How ruthless."

At that, Leo nodded and agreed, "I used to think that he was digging his own grave when he killed Isaac. But now... I think that it was Isaac who was digging his own grave by provoking Matthew."noveldrama

Lucien wiped the water off his face and said, "At least we're at the psychiatric hospital. If we were at other hospitals, the people there would have been traumatized."

Leo then whipped his phone out and said, "Let's talk about it later. I think those guys have arrived as well, so let's ask them to clean up the corpses with us.

"Otherwise, things will get worse if someone uploads a video of what happened here when the rain stops."

There were around ten people who came, except for Dominic, who was injured, and there were 12 more people nearby. Naturally, Leo wouldn't allow any of them to slack off.

On the streets of Lambda City, many roadside trees had fallen and caused a road blockage. It was a mess on the main road, and not only were there stray branches littered all over but fallen motorbikes and other miscellaneous items.

When Horace noticed the huge tree that was blocking their way, his face darkened. "Make a detour!"

Then, the car backed up a short distance before it turned into a small lane on the side. Finally, after a tiring number of twists and turns, they arrived at Clearwater Psychiatric Hospital.

The driver stopped the car and turned back to ask, "Mr. Wood, are you sure we're heading in this way?"

Though the rain was storming heavily, he could clearly tell that the words on the gate said "Psychiatric Treatment Hospital". He was afraid that Horace had taken the wrong way.

Then, Horace replied coldly, "I'm sure of it. I bought this place myself, so there's no mistaking it. Just drive in!"

At the same time, Trevor was making multiple detours on the street, and he had long lost count of how many times he had to make a detour.

Brad was currently on the phone with Leo, who had called him. "He killed them again? Just take the corpses to the same place and leave them there first."

When Brad heard that Matthew had killed someone again, he felt a headache coming. He had just finished dealing with the aftermath of Craig's death, but Matthew was at it again.

Leo then replied bitterly, "There's not enough space for it."

Brad was stunned upon hearing that, but he soon said, "That's a crematorium, and there's at least 20 corpse storage units in it. There's no way it won't fit!

"Matthew's causing us way too much trouble. I'm not going to clean up after him once we finish dealing with the Woods!"

Leo got a little anxious when Brad didn't believe him. "Mr. Miles, I'm being serious."

Upon hearing that, Brad asked frostily, "How many people did he kill? I'm sure they'll fit, alright?"

Leo then looked at the numbers in his hand and said, "He killed more than 90 people exactly 96 people."

Brad froze upon hearing the number Leo stated. Matthew had murdered a total of 96 people! Had he... Had he gone insane?

Previously, when Matthew had murdered someone, Brad had someone look into it -the gambler from the alleyway had blood on his hands, while Craig had thugs who beat people up.

Those people carried criminal records, so even if Matthew had killed them, it was for the greater good of society. But Matthew had overdone it by killing 96 people.

After Brad hung up the phone, he quickly rushed Trevor. "Quick! Get to the psychiatric hospital as fast as you can!"

Upon hearing that, Trevor acknowledged his commands and turned tails to switch lanes so that they could get to the psychiatric hospital.

For the rest of their journey, Brad stretched his head toward the window to look out of the car from time to time.

When Hugh saw how he behaved, he laughed and said, "You've been on so many battlefields and

encountered massacres that turned clear streams into a bloody one, s SO why are you so anxious over such a small matter?"

Brad didn't reply but took his phone out and dialed for Matthew. However, he was

a little taken aback when Matthew actually answered the phone this time.

Through the receiver, he could hear Matthew greeting him. "Hello?"

Brad froze for a moment before he flew into a rage. "Matthew, what were you thinking? 96 people? Are you... Have you gone mad? You can't just murder all 96 of them like that. Aren't you going too far?"

Matthew didn't expect Brad to question him about this. He took a deep breath and tried hard to maintain his composure as he said, "There were 81 soldiers who

came.

"Why aren't they in the barracks preparing for battle but running over to kill a normal civilian like me?

"Should I not have killed them for aiming their guns at their fellow countrymen?"

Brad went speechless upon hearing his reasons. He understood what it meant when soldiers started aiming their guns at their own people.

It meant that the soldiers had lost their sense of duty! It meant civil strife and chaos for the entire nation. It meant chaos for the entire nation! It meant soldiers caring up territories!
