The Billionaire's Regret

Chapter 150

Chapter 150

Ivy felt sorry for the boy, who had been separated from his family. She escorted him to the office and requested that Greg take his photograph in order to contact the police and locate his family. Pierce was highly obedient and clutched her hand firmly, unwilling to let go. Ivy noticed Icarus and Zion Lewis walking in as they were about to leave, beaming with excitement and self-satisfaction. Icarus Lewis approached Ivy when he noticed her. “Ms. Morgan, I heard you had a busy day at the amusement park?” Ivy arched her brow. ‘He is quite up to date!’ Icarus smiled meaningfully; his confidence was unmistakable. “You do not need to waste your efforts, Ms. Morgan. This time, Zion will work with Marco Seely to strike a deal that benefits Morgan Corporation as well. You will always be known as the Young Lady of the Morgan family.” In the back, Zion Lewis laughed. “Certainly! Even if you are not our Chairman, Ms. Morgan, you are the largest shareholder in Morgan Corporation!” By the sound of their voice, it appeared as though they had already won. Ivy laughed lightly. “Then I wish you the best of luck.” She said little and snatched Pierce away. “You don’t like them, Pretty Lady?” His voice was utterly endearing. They clearly mentioned Marco Seely, and Pierce clearly heard them. ‘That is my father!’ “They’re just a swarm of irritating flies,” Ivy grumbled. “I’m going to thump them all out sooner or later!” “Then I dislike them as well!” ‘Whomever Lady despises; I despise as well!’ Ivy stroked the back of his head. “Hmm...” When they returned to the Morgan Mansion, no one was there. Mr. Santos, too, escorted her father out. Only Ivy had to look after Pierce. Hilton Hotel’s Presidential Suite

A bodyguard and a maid stood there nervously, peering at the man who was poring over some documents at his desk. They trembled in fear and were aware of the room’s low air pressure. He was flanked by a slightly older man who appeared to be a butler and had just hung up and gone over. “There is bad news! A woman kidnapped the young Master. I’ll immediately dispatch someone to pick up the Young Master and arrest that woman for teaching her a lesson!” “Don’t…” The maid babbled as she examined the man in front of the desk. “Maybe… Young Master desires to follow her voluntarily.” The butler gave a cold snort. “What is the boy’s age? What knowledge does he possess? That woman must have abducted our Young Master in order to demand random! We cannot let that woman get away with this, Mr. Seely!” With difficulty, the maid looked at the bodyguard on the side and was hesitant to speak. The man behind the desk wore stern eyes. He appeared mature and composed, with an imposing and unflinching demeanor. He swept a cold glance over the maid and bodyguard. “Say what is true.” They both shuddered and promptly forgot their Young Master’s instructions. They shut their eyes and screamed everything out. “Mr. Seely, Young Master, forbade us from following him. He stated that he admired that pretty lady and desired to accompany her home.” The room was deafeningly quiet. “I’ll go get him.” Marco Seely was intimately familiar with his son. Pierce could not be taken away unless he willingly followed them. ‘Pretty lady? What the hell?’ “Should we punish that woman, Mr. Seely?” The butler was compelled to speak. Marco cast a glance his way. “Simply do what you are told.” These were cautionary words. The butler stiffened slightly and replied, “Yes, Sir,” hesitantly.

Morgan Mansion. Ivy stood and watched Pierce and Simba interact. The two of them were giddy with excitement as they ran around on the carpet. She was about to leave to prepare dinner when she heard the front door open. Ivy shifted her gaze to the man with deep, prominent features who stood in the doorway, looking so grim. He possessed a solid and enticing aura comparable to that of Wyatt Reed. She frowned, as she couldn’t recall ever seeing this man. “Who are you? How did you get here?” 'How did he get in?' Ivy wondered. She then realized she had left the front gate wide open! Marco Seely cast a fleeting glance at Ivy. His slightly cool gaze eventually settled on the young blonde boy behind her. "Come here," he said, his voice deep. The youngster jumped to his feet and ran over to the man. He smiled and reached for his thigh. “Daddy!” They were quite a sight when they were together. Despite their similar facial features, the little boy had blonde hair and blue eyes, whereas his father had dark hair and brown eyes. Ivy was astounded by this father-son duo's good looks. Marco was used to the tricks of this little rascal and picked him up with one hand. "You naughty little rascal! You think you're so mature now that you can ditch everyone and run away by yourself?" The little boy struggled and flung his legs, but it was futile. "I saw a pretty lady and I want to be with her! She appeals to me! I don't want to be apart from her! You can't separate lovebirds, Daddy!" Ivy was taken aback by what Pierce said. Marco let out a cold laugh before she could say anything. "Didn't you like pretty lady all the time? What made you change so abruptly?" "She’s my pretty lady." Marco went completely still. He looked Ivy in the eyes and examined her with a complicated expression.

Ivy was perplexed and didn't understand what they meant. She coughed a little. “Uhm… Are you his biological father? I met him at the amusement park when there was no one else around, so..." Marco frowned slightly and lowered his gaze to Pierce, a look of tenderness and helplessness on his face. "I understand." Marco’s phone abruptly rang. He frowned as he looked at the number, then walked out the door with Pierce under one arm. "Goodbye, Ms. Morgan." "No way! I don't want to leave my pretty lady! I'm madly in love with her." Ivy felt strange as she listened to the gradually fading voice. On second thought, the man's attire did not appear to be ordinary. He must have done his research if he was able to find this location so quickly and knew it was the Morgan Mansion. Ivy didn't give it much thought after they left. Simba stood at the door, wagging its tail because it already missed its new friend. Ivy shut the door and went upstairs to relax with a face mask and a massage. She was lying in the massage chair, looking at her tablet. Simba sat sluggishly on her lap. "Mama, to find a boyfriend for you, I searched the system for a list of the world's most handsome men and chose the top ten with exceptionally high overall qualities." Ivy was taken aback and looked down. "Finding me a boyfriend?" "Sebastian instructed me to." "Which ten?" Ivy inquired. "After excluding those who are married, over the age of 35, have less than ten figures in wealth, and have poor physical characteristics, there is only one left with the best overall qualities." Ivy raised her brows and inquired; her eyes wide. "Who exactly is it? Give me his phone number and set up a date for me!" Simba's tail waggled.

"There's no problem! I'm dialing his number right now." 'I'm so helpful!' Simba pondered. Ivy became paralyzed. Before she could respond, the phone was answered, "Hello?" That voice was deep and vaguely familiar. Ivy was stunned. Simba then jumped to his feet and spoke. “Papa! Mama has expressed an interest in setting up a date with you." Ivy jumped up from her chair and exclaimed, "Simba Morgan!" Ivy held Simba up, trying to find the off button as it blinked its large, adorable eyes at her. With a hint of laughter, the deep male voice came through. "Ivy, how come you missed me so much?" It's Wyatt Reed! Ivy glared angrily at Simba, suspecting that Tigger had done this on purpose! She clenched her teeth in rage. "In your dreams! I will never miss you, jerk!"NôvelDrama.Org © 2024.
