It’s been 5 years since Hailey and her son died, a lot has changed especially in the young man Killian, he’s back to the usual hot -headed, arrogant, strict and serious billionaire. But even so, his friends were still there to support him.

Killian was currently in the office, he had just signed the papers after that he to stood up and get some wine. For the past year, this has become his routine to go to the office and drink. He’s life was almost miserable when he lost his wife and child and to this day he continues to mourn.

When he got the wine he went back to his seat and started drinking, he couldn’t help but look at the picture of his wife who is in his table, his tears started dripping again which he immediately wiped away.

‘I miss you wife, please comeback to me. The time you lost I lost also myself. It was as if my former joy had gone immediately. I’ve been miserable since you died. ‘ he was talking to the girl’s photo.

He was in such a situation when the door of his office opened and it spat out his two friends.

“Early in the morning Killian but you are drinking,” Premiere said with a laugh.

“What’s up Killian, you’re talking to Hailey again, let her go bro. It’s been five years already let them rest.” Vaugh said as he sit down

“My wife is alive and I’m sure they’ll be back,” Killian replied.

His friends are used to Killian answering them like this no matter what they try to say and advising him to move on.

“Look at yourself Killian, didn’t you notice that you’ve changed a lot  since Hailey died, we’re not saying you forget her it’s us just fix yourself because if your Hailey is alive she won’t be happy to see you like this.” Premiere’s promise.

KIllian did not speak and just continued to drink thw wine while holding the photo of his wife in one hand.

The two took a glass also of wine to accompany him to drink.

Killian frowned at them. “Why are you here?” he asked the two.

“Nothing, we just visited you because you might commit suicide,” Vaugh replied.

“Stupid!” the young man was salty and it was ice -cold.

“How are you and Seline? She’s doing everything to get your attention, isn’t there any improvement?” Premiere asked.Ccontent © exclusive by Nô/vel(D)ra/ma.Org.

“I’m married, so I have no plans to get married again or find another woman. I’m not going to replace Hailey,” Killian said seriously.

“Seleine is also strong, isn’t she? Killian was pushing her away for how many times and told that he’s already married but she still doesn’t stop.” Vaugh laughed.

“Why don’t you try to open your heart for Seline? Maybe you’ll learn to love her if you try it, but if not, there’s nothing we can do at least you try.” Premiere said

Killian was just silent as if thinking. Later, the two said goodbye because they still have work to finish.

Killian was left in his office looking at his wife’s photo. “Wouldn’t you be angry wife if I tried to open my heart to other woman? Are they right in saying that I will set you free? I don’t know what I will do, but I will try so that you and our child could rest already..” He talked to Hailey’s picture

Later, his phone rang and he saw Seline calling. He answered it immediately.

“Hi baby, did you eat your lunch? If not can you accompany me and let’s eat together.” voice on the other line.

“Where are you? I’ll pick you up.” the young man replied.

When the girl told her whereabouts Killian immediately dropped the call and adjusted the wearing of his coat. It’s been a few years since he met Seline and the girl admitted to him that she likes him, but because Hailey is really the flesh of Killian’s heart, he won’t pay attention to her. Even so, the girl still didn’t give up, she always bothered him and it took a while for him to get used to it and just let it go.

Seline also tells others that they are dating and he just let it go because starting today he will try to give it a chance.

They met at a restaurant after they had already ordered food.

“I’m so happy now baby, because I finally didn’t have a hard time inviting you. You’re so often rude,” Seline began.

“I really want to met you because I also have something to say. I know that you have feelings for me and I also told you that I am married, but I think about it I will try to give it a try, but I can’t promise that I can do. I’ll try but when it doesn’t really work out I won’t hesitate to stop it right away. I don’t want to hurt people, “Killian said seriously.

The girl smiled. “I don’t know how to express how happy I am right now because of what you said. I’m happy because you’re trying to open your heart to me and I promise I’ll do everything so you can learn to love me back.”

Soon after, their order arrived and they started eating while chatting. Killian knew that the decision was not easy for him but he wanted to try it and if the outcome didn’t really go well he would stop as well.

After they ate, Seline invited him to take a walk around the mall and Killian accompanied her. The girl bought a lot and you can feel her happiness.

It was afternoon when they finished and Killian decided to take Seline to her home because she don’t bring her car with her. “Thank you baby for this day,” Seline said and kissed Killian on the cheek.

The young man smiled. “I need to go now, go inside already.” He said goodbye to her and started his engine.

Seline happily entered their house, her parents were not here because of business.

She couldn’t believe until now what Killian said, she felt that all the hardship and patience she had for the young man had not been ignored because now she would do everything to make him love her.

As he lay in her bedroom her phone rang and she saw her friend calling.

“Hello best!” She greeted it warmly.

“Looks like you’re so happy now,” said on the other line.

She immediately told her what happened between her and Killian so she was happy.

“Wow! That’s good to hear, it’s good and he’s already trying. I just hope the outcome goes well.” Her friend said

“Don’t worry about it, I’ll do everything so he can love me and change his wife in his heart.” Seline replied.

“Your situation is really difficult you know, you will only one rival to Killian’s heart but that person is already dead,” Seline said.

They talked for a few more minutes before saying goodbye to each other. When Seline dropped the call the smile still lingered on her face.

“Now that I have you Killian I won’t let you lose your foam. No other woman can snatch you to me,” she whispered.
