Chapter 211 Treating Elsa
After Hunter took off, Kismet waved Allison over.
"Hey, come check on Elsa. She's looking rough and hasn't budged since she got here. She's got a laundry list of issues but still won't behave!"
Allison nodded and went to see Elsa. The news wasn't great.
"Elsa, your blood lipids, blood sugar, and blood pressure are through the roof. You've got poor circulation, coronary heart disease, and osteoporosis. Your weight is putting a lot of stress on your bones, making you prone to fractures. I'll give you a massage and some therapy now, and I'll whip up some medicinal soup for tonight."
Kismet listened to Allison, her face growing more concerned.
"You're in this shape and still thinking about food all the time. From now on, it's veggies every day. Lose some weight, then you can have meat!"noveldrama
Elsa looked miserable. No meat felt like a death sentence to her. Allison chuckled at her reaction.
"I'll write up a medicinal diet plan for Kismet. Stick to it, and you'll gradually lose weight. Everyone can eat it; it's good for your health!"
Kismet snorted. She might have been harsh, but it was out of love.
Elsa had been living the good life with the Wells family. Since getting married, she hadn't lifted a finger around the house, and the kids were raised by maids and nannies. She had a cushy life with a loving son and daughter. Naturally, she put on weight and soon had high blood pressure, high blood sugar, and high cholesterol.
Jessa worked at an embassy abroad and rarely came back. George was even less around, working in another city. It was Landon who was always with Elsa since she raised him.
Landon was super devoted. Wherever he went, he always brought back tasty treats for Elsa. Everyone knew she loved to eat, so they always brought her different kinds of food. But too much of a good thing can be bad. Over time, she got more and more overweight and less inclined to move.
So before lunch, Allison gave Elsa a massage and some therapy, then let her eat, but only light stuff.
"Kismet, I didn't think you could make veggies taste this good. I might just stay here and never leave. Don't kick me out!"
Kismet rolled her eyes and pulled Allison into the yard.
"Be straight with me, does Elsa have any serious health issues?"
Allison looked at Kismet. She had been calm during the check-up. How did Kismet notice?
"Actually, it's not too serious, but she might need surgery."
Hearing "surgery," Kismet felt a wave of anxiety.
"Is it that bad?"
Allison nodded. No point in sugar-coating it.
"Elsa has uterine fibroids. I felt her abdomen, and the fibroid's weight is estimated to be over 2 pounds, which means it's been growing for years. But her current health isn't good enough for surgery. It's best to get her health in check for a while before scheduling it."
Kismet's eyes welled up. Thank goodness they had Allison. Otherwise, Elsa might not have known until it was too late. If they had waited another year or so, it could have been a disaster.
"Alright, I trust you. Prescribe whatever meds she needs, and I'll make sure she takes them. Also, jot down that medicinal diet for me!"
Allison nodded and gave Kismet a reassuring squeeze on the shoulder.
"Don't worry, Kismet. With me around, Elsa's gonna be just fine!"

After their chat, they headed back inside to eat, only to find Elsa had already polished off her meal, which caught Kismet off guard.
"Are you full?"
Elsa nodded, rubbing her belly. "I don't know why, but I feel full after just a little bit. Allison, did you slip me some kind of appetite suppressant?"
Kismet rolled her eyes. "What suppressant? Allison just gave you a massage and some therapy to help you lose weight. Look at how big you've gotten. It's a good thing your husband passed away. Otherwise, seeing you like this, he might have ditched you for someone younger and prettier!"
Elsa felt a bit miffed but still retorted.
"What do you know? He liked me chubby. Said it felt nice and soft to hold. It's just a shame he passed away too soon!"
Allison finished her lunch while Elsa and Kismet bickered. Back at Serenity Manor, Dwight called her over.
"I heard this place is being watched?"
Allison nodded, pulled out her laptop, and showed Dwight the surveillance footage. After watching, Dwight sneered.
"Going to such lengths to monitor us, they really went all out. Allison, don't worry. We're not pushovers. Keep the surveillance up; don't dismantle any of it. I want to see who's behind these sneaky moves!"
Allison nodded and chatted with Dwight for a bit before setting a time.
"We'll start the first test at 9 a.m. tomorrow. Teddy's been working all night. Once the test is done, we'll kick off the first round of the computation program to ensure data accuracy!"

Allison nodded. She stepped outside and looked up at the sky. A flock of pigeons flew by, and soon a few landed in the yard.
Allison found some food and scattered it in the yard. The pigeons quickly swooped in
to eat. Just as they took off, Allison noticed a red dot, but when she looked again, the pigeons had flown away.
Allison sneered to herself, "This is really hard to guard against!"
At that moment, her phone rang. She quickly answered, "Carl, how's it going?"
Carl's voice came through, laughing, "I'm good. How about you?"
"I'm doing well. Did Jake go back and take care of his injury?"
Carl glanced at Jake, who was lounging on the sofa with his injured leg propped up on
the table. Carl had to resist the urge to throw him out.
"He's not dying for now, but Felix had an accident!"
Allison frowned. Felix had been badly injured when he left, and it was Allison who had him beaten up. Carl had taken him away several days ago. Was he still not better? "What happened to him?" Allison asked.
"He got infected with an unknown virus. We haven't figured out where it came from
yet."
Allison's expression changed instantly, and her voice turned serious. "Send me a sample. I'll take a look!"
Soon, Allison's phone buzzed again. Seeing the email from Carl, her expression grew
even more severe.
"The CI virus. How did he get infected with it?"
What do you think?
