Dominic’s POV

Cool and relaxed, I leaned against my car which I had deliberately parked in front of Kai’s to confront him but Bella was the first to get out of the swinging doors of the towering building and rushed into my embrace.

Wrapping my arms around her, I watched Kai come out too and make eye contact with me just when I dipped my head to kiss my princess.

The kiss turned feverish as I kept my gaze at Kai but struggled to mindlink him, causing my irritation to take a more sensuous form on the ongoing activity.

Kai frowned as I lifted up Bella and went ballistic with the kiss- which I received as rough and deep as I gave, while not breaking eye contact with my Beta mate even once, daring him to come near us to get his car.

However, the spell and kiss broke when Kai glared at me and then my car when he understood my intentions, and looked away from me with a scoff.

I decided to break the ice between all of us and hence, set down Bella before whispering, “I will be back in a sec.”

However, suited men and women of higher authority stepped out of the gliding doors at the same time and the willy Beta Lycan found his means of escape when he went up to them and discussed university matters as a professor.

He detoured towards the bus stand and went off in a bus with a young, female companion who would not stop clinging to his arm and, laughing and giggling at everything he said.

What a flirtatious wrench !!

And that Beta.

He better watch his ass tonight coz I was not going to let it rest after his rejection, heart wrenching exit from the palace and today’s trickery !!

Plus I was his mate while he had another bimbo on his arm !

“I am going to kill that receptionist !”, Bella gritted out as her eyes saw what mine saw but with greater fire in them.

Guess someone already experienced something similar before.

This time I tenderly brought her close to me and kissed her softly and lovingly, to ease the hurt that my heart felt at the moment and hers too.

“I am sorry about before”, I sighed as I connected my head with hers and apologized for the fierce kiss before.

“No worries. I was thinking about Kai at that time too”, she confessed before pecking my lips one last time, tugging my hand and leading us inside the car.

“I am his mate”, I finally voiced out my fury. “I can not reach him in any way nor does he mind having someone else by his arm !”, I exclaimed.

“You are worried only about that whore you saw ? You should have seen the grandma aged Director’s wife slip her number in his file and then wink like a shutter gone wrong”, she snorted before putting on her seat belt angrily. “I hate him and his harem !!”, she huffed out but a side glance told that she was silently crying behind the narrow strip of the seat belt.

Unbuckling my own, I turned off the ignition before pulling my mate in my lap. That was all it took for her to break down and bury her face on my shoulder.

“I can’t hate him, Dominic. I can’t hate him !”, she sobbed while clutching my shirt. “I tried to and ended up hurting him instead. I am a horrible, horrible mate”, she cried with her body trembling and beginning to heat up again.

Oh fuck !

“Hold on tight, princess”, I cooed while stroking her back to calm her down with one hand and reversing the car as quick as possible with the other. “Everything will be alright”, I kissed her head before focusing ahead.

She needed to get to the coven hospital ASAP !!

Kai’s POV

I fell to bed dead tired and the Tribal Queen aka Mom, as she demanded I call her after she heard me calling the Tribal King- Dad, fussed over the bump on my head and did not let me brood over the loss of my Lycan for long as she made my favourite dishes in the Tribal King’s absence.

“Why don’t you go ahead and sleep, son. You must be tired after a long day. I will ask someone to get back your car. I will check on you and your head wound after some time. Let me now if you need anything, anytime. Ok ?”, the mother figure had cooed and I had nodded with a smile before she had pressed a chaste, motherly kiss on my forehead.

“Good Night, Mom”, I had wished her and kissed her cheek, making her ultra happy.

“Good Night, son !!”, she had smiled back. “I am placing five guards outside your room and I have kept water by the side of your bed. Is that ok ?”, she had asked with motherly concern.

“More than ok”, I had chirped before going back to my room and closing all the doors and windows.

“I heard five pairs of feet march towards my room before they stopped just outside. Ah ! Mother was quick to position the guards outside my room.

Honestly, I had never been fussed over by parent like figures before and it felt good for a change to be taken care of, like a child even if I was 18 fucking years old.

I sighed as I lay on the bed with one arm tucked under my head and looked up at the beautifully mural painted ceiling of my room.

I was so lost in its beauty that I did not notice a mice-silent, black clad figure creep into my room until the said person slapped a hand over my mouth and sat on me !!

What the fuck ?!

“Don’t make a noise or I swear to God, I will kidnap you back to my palace”, he whispered before tying a cloth around my mouth in his vampire speed and chaining my arms to the bed.

The hell ?!

“Now be a good boy and open your mindlink and mate link. I feel lost and unconnected with you otherwise. And why can’t I smell my scent or sense my mark on you ? Where is my- …. what the fuck ?! Where is my mark ?”, Dominic hissed as he forced my face to the other side to expose my unmarked neck.

Yes, I was mad at him right now.

He could have respected my space by not sneaking up here and chaining me up like a fucking prisoner.

“Why are you being so difficult, Kai ?”, Dominic angrily hissed again and my heart seemed to want to go static after a loud thud when I felt another mate of mine misunderstand my state again.

Were all these Alphas so vain, haughty, blind sided and egoistical maniacs with zero sensitivity towards other’s conditions ?

“Huh ? First you rejected your Alpha and left us. Then you stopped responding to my pleas through the mindlink. Then you cut it off altogether and now you don’t even bear my mark !! What the fuck is going on, Kai ? Bella has gone mad and weak by crying all day and night. She eats and drinks nothing while I saw you fool around with people who are not your mates ! Have you fucking lost it ?!”, Dominic lashed out and all my intentions to clear my name went down the drain as I felt extremely mad at him for accusing me wrongly for so many things !!

Go to hell, Domz ! I thought in my head and chose to stay silent as angry tears started lacing my eyes.

“You know what ?! I am so done with you, Kai. My time is limited here and I am not going back without marking you. So I guess, you will have to stay like this and not make any kind of noise, alright ?”, he authoritatively ordered before shredding my clothes off me within seconds.

My eyes widened when I realized what was happening and tried to protest and shake off the binds of my hands but the powerful Vampire King had secured them tightly enough so that even if I had my Lycan with me, I could not have gotten out.

Two attempts in one day- first Bella and then him.

“Oomph, oomph, oomph”, I mumbled through the gag while trying to scream for help and bring the guards’ or mother’s attention to my room. Didn’t she say that she would come to check on me during the night ?

Dominic crawled up my torso but frowned when he felt my flaccid, limp c*ck.

“You are not hard ?!”, he exclaimed in surprise before taking it in his hand and pumping it.

When the stick refused to enjoy the pleasure of friction, an adamant Dominic put it in his mouth and sucked on it with perfect strokes and suction that even though my heart and soul were just not up for the act, my body reacted to his heart’s desire making him smile.

However, a loud sob escaped my lips as I broke down and a panic struck Dominic was quick to let go of me before mother entered the room at the same time.

“OUT !”, she commanded when she saw her foster kid first.

“But Mom- …. “, Dominic stuttered.

“I said GET OUT, DOMINIC !! Don’t make me repeat twice”, she furiously said.

However, the adamant Vampire King broke away all my binds and threw away the gagging cloth before scooping me in his arms and nursing me against his chest possessively.

“NO !”, his vampire screeched. “HE IS MINE !! ONLY MINE !”, he shouted back.

“Then why were you forcing yourself on him ? Is that how I brought you up ? And give back control to Dominic !!”, she commanded the vampire. “Give back Kai to me”, she added.

“No ! Mine, only mine”, the vampire hissed while swinging me away from our approaching mom in his arms. “He is only mine”, he murmured again, but softly this time when he saw my sobbing face.

“I am sorry, baby. I am so sorry”, the vampire cooed while trying to shush me like a child. “I will never be a bastard and do that again, ok ?”, this time Dominic said before kissing away my tears and placing soft kisses on my cheeks. “I am so sorry …. ”

Everything became a blur as tiredness and sleep overtook me and soon enough I slept the entire night more restfully and peacefully than the previous one, in my mate’s embrace.

Hmm mhmm.

“I love you, baby boy”, I either heard or dreamt mom and Dominic say at the same time as kisses were peppered on my face for the last time.
