“Babe !! I am sorry. Please please please forgive me”, Dominic whined throughout our walk to the grocery store.

My anger was long forgotten but it was really fun to watch Dominic crib and beg. I am such a sadist, I know but I can’t help it !

“Stop being a wimpy kid and get me a shopping basket. I have loads of things to buy”, I ordered as we entered our destination and went to the opposite direction to start with my shopping spree.

“On it Madam”, Dominic saluted while clicking his heels together and it took immense self control for me to not burst out laughing at this childish man.

He was such an adorable dork ! Gah.

“Hi ! How can I help you, Ma’am ?”, a polite teenager of my age asked. He smelled peculiar as if …. “My name is Hayden by the way. You seem new here. All I could feel was greatly repulsed by him !!

He smelt awful !

I men his outer skin was clearly freshly showered but his essence stunk.

“Um-mm Ma’am ? Miss ? Hello ? Are you alright ?”, the disguised rogue asked while waving his disgustingly smelly hands in front of my face and it was getting so difficult by the second to control Snow from taking over and clawing the life out of the heinous wolf.

“Uh …. oh yeah !! I just got lost in thought ! You got a beautiful smile there”, I said and mentally thought that I should get an Oscar for acting so well !

“Oh really ?! Thank you, Miss. It is really kind of you to say that”, he courteously replied while shining his perfect denture again. “So how may I help you, pretty lady ?”, he purred and it literally disgusted me with his vain attempt to seduce me.

“I uh …. will manage on my own, Mister”, I smiled and tried to go the other way but the man suddenly held my wrist and I was just a millisecond close to snapping off the rogue’s neck when he called out, “You forgot your packets, Ma’am !”

I mentally cursed myself for almost giving myself away and that too in public before I sheepishly took my things from the devil.

“Something about you is attracting my wolf”, he murmured so lowly that human ears could not even hear a buzz of the sound he made but my Lycan ears caught on what he said.

He might not be able to smell out my Lycan due to the heavy use of strong suppressants but I am sure his wolf could sense the faint presence of my Royal Lycan blood and the bloodlust must be attracting him to me !

I needed to send this wolf to the Gates of Death soon before he exposed me !!

“Babe ! There you are”, Dominic sang out before tugging me in his arms but then his hold suddenly tightened around me and he probed further. “Why are you gossiping with this kind man here, baby ?”, he asked. “He must be busy. Let me help you with the rest of the shopping, ok ?”, he suggested and led me away.

Shit !

I need to take care of that rogue.

Ughh Dominic !!

Why did you have to come right now ?

“Don’t do anything stupid”, Dominic suddenly whispered in my ear while stooping down to place a carton of milk in the shopping basket.

“What do you mean ?”, I retorted immediately.

“I mean that just trust me with the shopping list that has to be done at the other end of the store”, he chuckled before nipping my nose tip and walked towards the place where Hayden and I had stood previously.

Why do I feel that he meant something else ?

“Wind up your work quickly here, Bella”, Snow instructed. “Let us leave this place altogether. If we kill that rogue then the Dark Overlord will send his whole army in this area. Right now they don’t even have a ghost of an idea about where we are. Let us just lie low and avoid coming to this neighbourhood”, she cleverly guided me.

“You are right ! Let me focus on getting out of this place then”, I concurred with her and proceeded ahead to finish my tasks as fast as possible.

Now where did that sneaky boyfriend of mine go ? Grrrrr.

Bella’s POV

“Where the hell did you go ?”, I asked Dominic as I lined up our groceries on the purchasing counter.

“I was looking for your favourite tarts, baby !!!!”, Dominic said and shook the prized treat teasingly in both of his hands making me squeal in delight and jump on him.

Once I was done ravishing his face, I realized what I had done and quietly slid down from his torso and refused to look up to meet the amused gazes of the people around us specially Dominic’s !

He is so gonna tease me now.

Shit.

Fuck my life !

“So I take that as I am forgiven ?”, he chuckled.

“No. You are not”, I mumbled while placing the scanned goodies in our cloth bags.

“So, if I am to keep away the tarts then you won’t mind, right ?”, he teased.

This rascal ! Nghh.

“Yes, I will mind, asshole”, I humphed and snatched the packets to dump them in my bag. “Fancy taking them as hostage and blackmailing me. Do you want to get your ass kicked in front of everyone ?”, I scoffed.

“I would love it if you did something else with my ass”, he seductively purred in my ear before walking away to the other side of the long counter and hand out his card to pay.

Such a tease !!
