“Did you do something to make her mad ?”, I could hear Kai whispering in Dominic’s ears while I made breakfast solely for the two, specifically my special omelets.

Dominic had dragged Kai towards the other end of the kitchen to help him toast bread and they were whispering so loud that even humans could hear them !!

“What gave it away ?”, Dominic asked sarcastically. I could totally imagine him rolling his eyes in annoyance.

“She looks scary when she looks in our direction, in fact, when she looks in your direction”, Kai pointed out.

“Yeah and shut up”, Dominic whispered back. “She can hear us”, he explained before pecking our boyfriend’s pouting plump, pink lips.

“Go and make it up to her”, Kai cutely said while hugging Dominic from behind and resting his cheeks on the latter’s back while Dominic placed our toasts in a plate.

“Come and have your breakfast, boys !!”, I called out as I served them a hearty amount of food in two plates.

“She said boys”, Dominic whispered. “Am I included ?”, he asked nervously.

Kai snorted and taunted, “Ofcourse not, silly. You have a vag, don’t you ? Why would she call you a boy then ?”

“Babe, you of all people know what a giant cobra I have down there and I will not hesitate to show it to you again right here and right now”, Dominic said in Kai’s ear, his voice low and deep making the latter shudder by just an eargasm.

The two of them shared a look full of heat and desire before I snapped them both from their lust filled thoughts.

“The food is getting cold”, I coldly said. “Hurry up you two”, I added while answering Dominic’s previous doubt.

“Babe, where is your plate ?”, Kai asked and Dominic was frowning as well as he glanced at the table containing just two plates.

“I am going to the grocery store to stock your kitchen. We are out of many things and I will have lunch directly coz I am not hungry. I had juice”, I hurriedly said and dashed to our room to get my purse.

Kai however was quicker on his feet and soon enough I was thrashing in his arms while he caged me between his legs and fed me half of his breakfast.

“You should eat, kitten”, he sternly said as if he was my parent. “How dare you skip the most important meal of the day”, he grumbled.

I opened my mouth to protest but it was only filled with a load full of toast and eggs.

“Nghh nghh nghh”, I angrily tried to speak while glaring at Kai but he only ignored me to speak to Dominic.

“Babe ? Could you please get me a bowl, knife and the fruits left in the fridge ? She needs to eat more”, Kai said as if I was a 3 year old child. Ughh.

“Sure !”, Dominic replied and promptly came back with all the stuff.

“I can’t eat that much !!!”, I exclaimed when I saw the basket and why the fuck didn’t I see that before ?

As if reading my thoughts, Dominic answered, “Kai got the fruit basket when he went to jog and kept it in the fridge when you were busy- ummm showering.”

“Kay”, I curtly replied and Kai grabbed my chin to make me look his way. “What is wrong, babe ? Why are you mad at Daddy ?”, he asked perplexed.

“I don’t wanna talk about it. He played a nasty trick on me and broke my trust. I hate him so much for scaring me”, I answered and hugged my captor tight.

“You are so dead, asshole”, I could hear Kai mouth to Dominic.

“She has done worse before !”, Dominic defended and regretted immediately when I got up from Kai’s lap and stormed out of the apartment.

“I AM GOING TO THE GROCERY STORE !!”, I shouted and dashed out.

As I walked out of the lobby, I noticed Ms Pierce, Kai’s colleague at the uni come in from the opposite direction and one could say that we were both equally surprised to see each other.

Being courteous that I was with every elder, although she was hardly 5 years or so elder to me max to max, I greeted her, “Good Morning Ms Pierce. Good day to you !!”

“Mornin’ Ms Diaz”, she greeted back formally. “What are you doing here instead of being in your dorm ?”, she asked with a look of suspicion evident on her face. “Do the hostel authorities know about your whereabouts ?”, she questioned while frowning.

So many questions.

Ughh.

Is this some kind of a pop quiz ?

“I had come to visit a friend, Ma’am”, I replied with as much patience as I could muster. “And yes, the hostel officials know that I shall be away for the weekend”, I answered her questions in order. “If I may have you permission, Ma’am, I have to hurry to the store to get some emergency stuff”, I politely said.Original content from NôvelDrama.Org.

“Must be to get condoms or worse, pregnancy pills for sex without protection”, she rudely huffed. “…. or for drugs and cigarettes and God knows what not”, the snarky lady added.

Why the fuck is she talking to me like that ?

I never ever interacted with her before save for some substitute classes that she used to take in our class.

“Excuse me ?”, I asked incredulously. In my defence, as far as I could remember I had played mild tricks on her and she did not even know who did them !! In fact, none of the professors could figure that out save for Kai who could exactly pin point the culprit with heaven knows which black magic !!

That man was surely a weird know-all wizard.

“Look Ms Diaz. I know for a fact that this apartment is owned by Kai completely and only old aged men and women live here with no ghost of a young person living with them. So I think my assumption is pretty much right that you are with Kai and let me remind you that he is a professor and you are a student”, she harshly stated while drawing uncomfortably closer to me. “If you two are caught doing any kind of frick frack, then the law of the country will not be able to save you two from going behind the bars. Hence, I would highly suggest that you study hard and not let your slutty self be seen anywhere near MY Kai”, the crazy woman ranted out.

“Oh hey ! There you are, princess !!”, Dominic’s soothing voice floated in just in time.

Oh thank God, he came !

His annoying presence was getting on my nerves before but he was my saviour right now.

I was about to have a panic attack when Ms Pierce started threatening me before. The panic attack was not because I would be suspended or end up in jail. It was solely because she claimed Kai to be “hers” and I was so close to going to jail for murder !!

ARGGGHHHHHH.

“Where were you, baby ? You left without me”, Dominic pouted and I would have surely kissed his protruding lips just like what he did to Kai a few minutes back but I was still really pissed by his insolent behaviour last night plus Kai’s fan girl seemed to be scrutinizing us with X-ray eyes so I did not dare to do anything handsy pansy in front of the bitch.

Ms Pierce fake coughed to get back our attention to her and asked, “You live here, Mr Kent ?”, she questioned authoritatively.

“Oh ! Did not see you there Ma’am !! You are so ummm …. I wanted to say short but I can’t find any other suitable word”, he chuckled. “Good day to you and yes, I live here”, he answered the suspicious female professor.

“Really ? And which floor ?”, she further questioned before we could flee away from her.

“I live with Mr Grayson, Miss”, he replied coolly.

“And what about this young goddess of terror here ?”, she sniggered as she pointed towards me.

“Oh this cute, little munchkin here ?”, Dominic chuckled while shaking my chin between his fingers. “She is my caring girlfriend who came to study with me last night and is now going to get some groceries for us. Isn’t she a dear now, Ms Pierce”, he fondly said to piss off the disgruntled woman and Ms Pierce seemed to look both relieved and bemused.

Guess she still saw me as a threat.

Little did she know that she was already late.

Kai is only MY baby !!

“That’s good then. I have to look after my boy too”, Ms Pierce remarked and went straight for the elevator which opened at exactly that moment.

“Someone please stop me from turning around and punching the shit out of that pathetic, delusional lady for thinking about taking OUR Kai !!”, Dominic possessively growled.

I rolled my eyes and walked away leaving the fuming boy behind.

I was not going to talk to him.

He needed to earn my forgiveness first !
