“Have never done anything bad, I help people, I help the helpless, I assist the motherless, fatherless, orphans. Why me, why me, why is it that the good ones have to suffer, I won’t be able to mother a child of my own. God, why are you punishing me”Tessa cried, holding her head.

Honour cried bitterly, Royalty and Promise weren’t left out. The air in the throne room was an emotional one, everyone was crying painfully. Except Queen Lola who hasn’t regained consciousness, The rest of the Queen’s remove their crown in respect of Tessa loss.

King Justin was crying silently, sniffing back his tears.

King Nathaniel couldn’t fight back those tears he was hiding. He stood and walked close to Tessa, crouching to her level. He touched her jaw making her teary eyes come in contact with his. He took her left hand into his and raised her up on her feet. Then he went back on his knees and stretched out his hand.

Tessa looked dumbfounded, she fell on her knees, touching his face with shaking hands.

“You still love me, despite the fact that I can’t give you what you wanted, I thought lovers get married to straighten their bond by making babies”Tessa uttered, with a broken voice. She disengaged from the hug, staring deeply at him in the eye.

“Will you marry me, Princess Tessa Brown”King Nathaniel proposed again.

“Say yes Tessa,”promise encouraged.

“Don’t say no Tessa, please, it will break my heart if you do”King Nathaniel uttered, with a soft smile.

Tessa raised her head up searching for someone.

“Where is Fiona?”She growled softly.

“Your Highness ordered the guards to drag and tutore her in the dungeon.”Royalty gave the reply, gritting her teeth all through.

“He did what?” Tessa exclaimed, walking away from King Nathaniel.

“Just tell me, what’s she’s saying isn’t true?,”Tessa asked, softly.

“I ordered,”King Justin growled.

“You did what? You had my maid, my best friend, to be tutored without a single proof or evidence.”Tessa yelled, using her hands to demonstrate how angry she was.

“She was the last person that served you a cup of tea”King Justin yelled, standing up on his feet.

“And so fucking what?”she yelled with a soft grunt.

“Tessa, you need to get some rest”King Nathaniel uttered, touching her shoulders from behind.

“Not when Fiona isn’t released “she replied, giving King Nathaniel a soft mixture of painful smiles.

“Physician Rana is just yet to test the cup I used to drink the tea, Yet, you are already making a drastic decision. I find it hard to know the colour of your problem.. am the one that got poisoned not you, so why the sudden care, why acting fake. I will do my investigation myself, I don’t need your wasted, uprooted sympathy.”Tessa said, with a pained voice. She held her head because of how dizzy she was. King Nathaniel carried her in a bridal style heading to her chamber.

Fiona was pacing to and fro the dungeon cell she was in. A lot of thoughts were running in her mind, head, which was making me feel restless. She doesn’t care about being thrown into the dungeon, she just wants her princess to be alright.

She holt, when she heard distant voices and footsteps. She moved to the right angle of the cell to check what’s happening, but couldn’t get a glimpse of it.

“Fiona”Honour called.

“Oh! heavens, Honour, how is my princess doing?”Fiona asked, holding the ironed with a worried face.

“Your Highness, Mrs Claire has escaped with a Royal maid” The guard uttered, with his head bowed.

“You mean?”King Justin growled, with widened eyes.
