Scars Of A Broken Bond

Chapter 1595

"Before anything else, we'll need to draw some blood and perform an ultrasound. Once you're back, I'll prescribe some medication for you."

"Sure."

"Oh, did you come here alone?"

"No," she answered, accompanied by her driver.

"Have someone stay with you. It's best for you to rest more."

"Understood. Thank you, doctor."

Sabrina stepped outside and summoned the driver to queue up for her. Taking a moment to relax, she rejoined the line when it was her turn.

The driver, aware of Sabrina and Tyrone's situation, shared their joy upon learning of her pregnancy.

Returning to the consulting room two hours later, Sabrina's expression was complex. She had believed she conceived in Philade.

But the test revealed she was already fourteen weeks pregnant—more than three months. Over three months had passed. Before she went to Philade, she was pregnant.

It was during the time Rita drugged her. Though she couldn’t recall anything from that day due to being drugged, Tyrone insisted that they hadn’t been intimate then.

While there was a slight possibility of her getting pregnant, it was highly unlikely. Was she really that fortunate? Sabrina was momentarily stunned.

After reviewing the examination results, the doctor provided medication and advised, "You recently took a fall, right? The fetus appears unstable. Take extra care. Your resilience isn’t high, increasing the risk of miscarriage... Maintain a positive mood during pregnancy. Refrain from intercourse with your husband and prioritize your well-being..."

"I’ll be cautious!" With a determined bite of her lip, Sabrina vowed silently to protect the child with all her might.

"Alright, you can pick up the medication now. I’ll explain how to take it when you return."

"Thank you, doctor."

Following the doctor's guidance, Sabrina urged the driver to help her go through the procedure and then settled into a seat near the consulting room’s entrance.

Alongside medication to safeguard the fetus, the doctor prescribed an ointment for the cut on her leg.

Sabrina stepped out of the hospital and glanced at the time. It was already five in the afternoon. She instructed the driver to head to the kindergarten to pick up Jennie.

Once Jennie was in the car, she eagerly shared her day at school with Sabrina.Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.

Then, with a curious gaze at Sabrina, Jennie asked, "Sabrina, did something good happen to you today?"

Sabrina was caught off guard. "How did you know?"

"You seem different. You’re so gentle with this smile today."
