Rose looked at her daughter with soft eyes, afterall she has heart of mother. She hugged Rosetta and patted her back.

“You did it… I am Proud of you”

Rosetta looked at her with smile. She knew her mother is waiting for her outside, only thing she had to do is, bring Vlad in the forest.

When Vlad locked her in the basement with guards, he did biggest mistake of his life. Those guards were hired by skyler to spy on Vlad. They told Rosetta that her mother is in the forest but due to digital security she can’t enter the mansion. They told her to escape in the forest and Rosetta started working on it.

Rosetta never felt so happy to see her mother before. Now she realised how much she needs her mother in her life. Rosetta felt the safest person in the world just by her mother’s presence.

Rose handed her gun and sword and caressed her head.

“You look weak… Stand aside and use it only when needed.”

She instructed. Rose would be happy if her daughter could have fight with her but Rosetta looked too weak. She didn’t want to risk her life.

“But mom how can you face them alone?”

Rosetta asked.

“I am not alone”

Rose answered making her frown.

Rose pushed her aside when Vlad ordered his men to fire on them. Rosetta stood under the tree and watch her mother fighting for her. She was feeling guilty for not helping her.

Her eyes widened when she saw more men joining Vlad.

But as soon as they marched towards Rose their dead bodies fell on the ground. Rosetta looked around confused as she saw shower of Shuriken. Each and every blade claimed neck.

Her eyes widened when Masked man landed behind Her mother.

“What the hell is he doing here?”

She mumbled.

He looked at Rosetta and winked. Jackson too came out of nowhere.

“Are You okay Rosa?… Did he hurt you?”

Jackson asked.

Rosetta shook her head.

“No”

But she couldn’t take her eyes off of Masked man.

“Stay back”

Jackson warned and she looked at him confused.

Before she ask their fight began.

“Jackson take the left side… And you, right one”

Rose ordered both of them and they followed her orders like she is their leader.

Rosetta couldn’t understand why Masked man is with her mother. Why they are working like a group.

Her thoughts took a back seat for a moment when she saw her mother’s real face.

Her mouth hung open when she saw Rose slaughtering men very brutally.

Her eyes widened as she beheaded man mercilessly and split other one in two part.

Rosetta haven’t seen her mother in real fight before, she has seen her skills in the practice hall but it wasn’t even one percent of what she is witnessing now.

Rose was brutally killing people without even blinking. This isn’t the mother whom Rosetta knows. Her mother is strict but too gentle with them.

Now she understood why underworld fears her mother, That woman is Lethal. For a second she wondered why her father chose Rose. Rose wasn’t lying when she said that they have accepted each other with their true self.

Her eyes fell on the Jackson who was killing people just like Rose. He was snapping necks and breaking bones like it’s child play for them. His playful behavior was long gone, for a second she couldn’t believe that he is her uncle Jackson who is funny and joyful.

Now Rosetta understood why Jackson hates his childhood. Why he regret being born because whatever is happening now is just a glance of their childhood and adulthood. They have grown up like this. They grew up killing people and couldn’t even express it. Today her respect for them increased.

Rosetta can’t imagine herself doing these things everyday like it’s a part of her routine.

She saw masked man and he was doing the same, he was moving with the speed of wind. Within blink dead bodies were falling around him.

Now when she is watching him fighting along side her mother, she realised their skills are similar. She was right, He is just like her mother but how. It was too obvious that whatever she does in training hall is just a child play. She is nowhere near them and she can’t match their skills. They were killing people like they are killing flies.

Rosetta froze in her place when he stood in front of her, standing almost in her personal space. She gulped as he leaned forward and brushed his masked cheek against hers.

“Do you want to kill him or should I do the honour?”

He whispered huskily.

Rosetta looked at Vlad with the corner of her eyes and he was struggling for his life. He proudly said that he is not scared of her mother, her mother is nothing in front of him but in reality he couldn’t even raise a finger in front of her. Rose didn’t kill him but she was beating the shit out of him.

It was obvious that his ribs are broken by now by her kicks and punches.

“I want to do it”

She replied while clenching her jaw. Her heart was breaking second by second. Her eyes filled with tears when she thought about skyler.

‘why he isn’t here?… Why he didn’t come for me?… I know he is Alive, he is not dead. He can’t be’

She closed her eyes and let the tears escape.

He looked at her blankly and stepped back from her.

Rose threw him in front of Rosetta. Three of them stood their with crossed hands while watching her.

Rosetta punched Vlad in the face until her own knuckles started bleeding. His face was unrecognisable.

“You think you won Rosetta”

Vlad spat the blood and chuckled.

“I won, I killed him… I am not going alone. Your husband is dead, I killed him…”

Rosetta gritted her teeth and kicked him on the face. When he fell on the ground she stabbed him in the heart and kept stabbing.

She took out all her anger on him.

“He is not dead… He is alive, my skyler won’t leave me… He is alive, he is alive… Did you hear me?”

She growled while stabbing his dead body continuously.

“Rosa that’s enough… He is dead…”

Jackson yelled as he saw her state. She was on verge of going crazy.

Rose grabbed her arm and pulled her away from his dead body. Her white dress was completely drenched in blood. Rose snatched her sword from her hand and pulled her in a tight hug.

“It’s okay… Calm down”

She rubbed her back gently.

“Mom Skyler is not dead!”

She cried loudly.

“He was lying… Please tell me Skyler is fine…”

She broke down in her mother’s embrace.

Rose stayed silent and Rosetta looked at her in disbelief.

“Mom?… Where is skyler?”

She mumbled and Rose promptly looked away. Rosetta’s heart sank in her chest.
