~Rex’s POV~

“I thought I told you not to react.” He fixed his gaze on me. I could see his veins bursting through the surface of the skin. His vampire side was hankering for blood. Evidently, his voodoo side was itching to break a few bones. I have a feeling this kid is a badass. Trust me, once we’re done here, he’s not going to leave Alex alone. I’m pretty sure he’ll never listen to me. The enigma surrounding him is unsolved. The idea of a 26-year-old guy freezing an elderly Lycan like Zeus made me laugh. He’s extremely tall and well-built, and I’m sure he drives a lot of women insane with his charm. I’m confident he does.

“Well, where was I, right? The fact that you are a tribrid is beyond my comprehension; there is no need for me to explain further. I’ll just show you what your sister went through to prove my point. You’ll understand why I stated, “Your sister will decide his fate.” I cradled his head in my hands and shared with him the information I had gathered from the time she had been kidnapped from them. His eyes were welling up with tears, and I could see them. That’s right, I shed a few tears as well. That kind of abuse is unjustifiable under any circumstances. For some reason, I didn’t have to hold his head for very long with him, which was a pleasant surprise. I only managed to hold it for a single second before returning to the couch to keep an eye on him. Thank the goddess, I was able to keep him in one place. He wailed like a baby, and I could see that he didn’t want to see any more than he already had. He does, however, need to know everything in order to assist his sister. Terror gripped him, making him try to defy what I had commanded him to do. As soon as he saw everything for himself, he fell to his knees and began to sob.

Insanely, he declared, “I’m going to kill him!”

“You will do no such thing. However, if your sister permits it, you can go ahead. I’m hardly a saint, either, to be perfectly honest. I have chopped a few of his parts. Now that you know everything, go ahead and release the spell you created in the ballroom. ”

Hugo and I walked out of my wing and into the main hall. When he released the enchantment, the crowd began to dance and converse as if nothing had happened. I stared at Zeus, who was well aware that he was under a spell. Then Hugo throws a punch his way, just as I was about to take him outside to teach him a valuable lesson. Of course, he only had one, and the rest were stopped by Zeus. He was angry, and he wanted to fight Hugo.

“If you want Juno to kill you, let her see a scratch on his face or anywhere.”

“Aaa, you are the twin. Well, you see, I love your sister. If not, I could have broken every bone in you. Break you beyond repair for freezing the shit out of me and for punching me.”

I grabbed his hand and led him outside. I observed a couple of mutts roaming the area. I hauled him away from the house and into the nearby woodland.

“Did you think you could fool me, Zeus?”

“Well, it worked for a few hours.”

“If you want my attention, you’ve got it; nevertheless, you’ll have to communicate with me in your original form. Not some 18-year-old form; so alter your form now.”

I saw him shifting to his original body,

“Why are you in my palace?”

“Rex, are you enquiring about something that should be obvious? You’re afraid, right? I’ve come to claim my mate.”

“I want you to leave my palace and keep your distance from my Reina. I don’t want to murder you, but if you ever cross the line with your queen, you will pay the price with your life once more. I promise you that she is your queen, not your mate.” He grabbed my own throat after I grabbed his throat. We were crushing each other’s throats with our hands.

“Don’t try to get in my way ever again, Rex. Unlike before, I’m no longer afraid of you, Rex. Otherwise, I shall cause your subjects to have doubts about your talents as a bumbling monarch. Do you still believe you are more powerful than I am? Stay away from me if you don’t want your people to know how pitiful you are. Juno is ours, so don’t lie to her about not being able to share her.” That was all he said, and then he began to walk.

“I will not repeat myself, Zeus. I’ll kill you for the second time when it comes to my Reina.

With a single strike, he slammed his body against the ground.

“That’s what you get for snatching her from her family.”

I sank to his level and began to speak his language. “And Zeus, please tell your mother that we are having a great time and thank her because we are having a ball. If not, only ‘mother knows what I could have done to you. Thank her, your mother! The goddess. I am not done with you, Zeus. Your god has commanded you to remain in this location until the ball is over! And I so much happen to be that god.”

“You can’t do that to me, Rex!”

“I’m still being nice for the sake of my family. However, you, brother, are not leaving. To be honest, I was worried it would be difficult to persuade you to come with me.” I could see his eyes widening as the earth opened up and swallowed him whole.

The cries of “Bloody Hell! Rex!” were heard throughout the ground.

“When the ball is finished, you and I need to talk.”

Having stated that, I made my way to the hall. Then, just when I thought everything was finished for the day, I discovered Hugo and Alex engaged in an eye-ball battle. He was taking a good look at Alex and he smirked. I’m hoping he doesn’t get his hands on Alex. I also hope Mutt doesn’t get on my nerves because if he does, I will most likely forget about him and end him up. His presence is not welcome here. So much for a ball. Too much drama on the first day.

Hugo jerked his head to one side, and Alex shouted in response. Is he attempting to manipulate Alex with his magic? He had a sly grin on his face. Hugo raised his brows once more and titled his head. Screaming could be heard again from Alex. Alex was paralyzed and couldn’t even move his arms.

“You broke my hand. Just who the fuck are you?”Alex asked.

“Juno’s mate,” Hugo answered.

“Just how many mates does my Luna have?” Hugo cocked his head once again, and Alex’s scream reverberated throughout the hall. Attracting the attention of everyone in attendance.

“You have no idea how many mates she has, but enough to take your dick away from you,” Hugo remarked.

I saw Hugo lifting Alex Dick and placing it in a plastic bag. “This way, my dear friend, the world would be in a better place. It’s a good thing you lost your dick because you think and reason with it. Oh, and you will get your dick once you return her son to her.” He smirked once more. Raising Alex’s dick inside a plastic bag, he muttered, “In the meantime, I’ve got a dick to burn.” Hugo said that and then walked out of the hall with Alex’s small cock. I knew he was evil, but I never imagined him removing Alex’s dick.

I had a sneaking suspicion Juno’s twin was a badass.
