Ruined(Eternal Monarch)

~Rex’s POV~

I’m not sure what happened to Reina’s ability to discern who she was dancing with. In the meantime, her brother had been diagnosed with rage difficulties, and he did not appear to be able to dance with her for very long. I think he got pissed that his sister couldn’t recognize him. I noticed the small boy crawling approaching my Reina shortly after Hugo left. When the two of them dance, it looks like they’re having a fight. She then slapped the boy, but he instead smirked as he walked away. Those long strides drew my attention.

Zeus!

I was ready to march to Zeus when Hugo approached me and said she could sense the relationship, but she couldn’t put her finger on what she was feeling. While Hugo and I were occupied with our conversation, my gaze was drawn to Zeus. He had the audacity to utilize a body that was 18 years old. Is he planning on murdering the kid? Hugo is the only person he needs to thank. I could have overlooked the fact that there are mutts in this hall right now. My gaze was drawn to my mate for a brief second. She was heading out of the hall, presumably feeling a little overwhelmed by the fact that so many activities were going on at the same moment. Then I noticed Alex walking towards her. That’s when I had a meltdown and unintentionally said something stupid in front of the wrong person.

“He wouldn’t dare. If he ever hurts my Reina again, you can bet I’ll make sure he gets what he deserves. I will finish him!” After saying that, I was only vaguely aware of my surroundings. Just after my sentence, Juno fainted after turning to see Alex. I was well aware that she wasn’t ready to meet with him just yet. I should have said no to this dreaded ball. Regardless of the fact that I was sprinting towards her, Hugo used his vampire speed to get to her and lift her off the ground. The youngster was adamant about remaining put.

“What did you do to her?” Hugo asked Alex.

“What could I possibly do to her? I simply asked to dance with my Luna because she is so beautiful.”

All of a sudden, I came to an abrupt stop. Did he call my Reina his Luna? H ell! I could feel Alaric threatening to show up, and I was scared. A slew of new characters appeared, including Ladon, Ben, and Max. Fuck! What did this mutt do that made every beast in me want to leap into action and seize control? I was silently praying. This was something I didn’t want to happen in front of these people. Although Alex and Pack have seen me, not all of them have. If any of my monsters manage to take control of my body, I will do a tremendous amount of damage. Alaric was agitated, and I held my head in desperation, knowing that Alaric could control himself. Then surely any number of creatures living within me could as well.

“What did you say?” Hugo’s question rang in my ears like a distant siren song. He was enraged, and that youngster struggled with his wrath.

“You heard me. Do you want me to repeat myself, boy?” Alex asked.

Hugo was looking at Alex with a scornful expression on his face. When his eyes went red, it was a sign that something was wrong. I’m powerless to do anything. I might shift to goddess knows what if I take a step ahead? Zeus was making his triumphant return, as I observed. He cast a glance towards Hugo, who was holding Juno. However, when his gaze fell on Alex, he snatched Alex by the throat and slammed Alex’s body against the floor with both hands.

“You really don’t listen, don’t you? I hate mutts who don’t listen and you fucken happen to be one. With a huge bang! He kicked Alex in the guts with a groan. Didn’t I tell you to stay the fuck away from my mate?”

Hugo’s eyes were widening. The boy froze everyone in the hall. I overheard him murmuring.

“You will all have to explain this shit once I put my sister to bed. Follow me, since you didn’t freeze like everyone else,” he said after I stared at him.C0ntent © 2024 (N/ô)velDrama.Org.
