"As for this negative item you're talking about, what even is that? I didn't charge you a penny for the gift, but now I'm the one in the wrong?" Raven retorted with a half-smile, her tone mocking. She looked entirely unafraid of Elsie.

Elsie's eyes burned red with anger as she glared at Raven.

"I've thought this through before coming here. You must have a grudge against Skylar or Joe. Otherwise, why would you use me to disgust the two of them?"

At the mention of a grudge, a shadow crossed Raven's eyes, momentarily masking her deep hatred.

Then, she sneered, "From the start, you wanted to seduce Joe. When you saw how affectionate he was with Skylar, all you could do was cry. Elsie's face flushed with rage as she

She was at her breaking point.

She was being tortured day and night by those fake memories until she couldn't tell whether she was dreaming or in reality. "Oh, and that talisman? I casually drew it for fun to make you happy. I treated you like a younger sister, but you're so disrespectful. Don't come looking for me again."

There was no way she would take back the negative item she had given away. She had no time to care whether Elsie lived or died.

Elsie trembled with fury. "You're not admitting it, aren't you? Fine, fine. I hope you won't regret this. I'll go find Skylar right now and tell her you're the one pulling the strings. I'll tell her you gave me those objects. I'm sure Skylar will help me. She's not like you!"

With that, she turned to leave.

She said with a bright smile, "I was just kidding earlier. How could I not help you? You really do look so much like my little sister-I've always seen you as family.

"I said those things earlier just to test you. Don't take them to heart.
