No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric)

Chapter 202

In the car, Noelle hummed a cheerful tune. "When I dealt with Xenia earlier, my hand went numb from hitting her! Her expression was priceless!" she said

gleefully.

She thought Xenia should consider joining the entertainment industry. Perhaps she could even find her true calling as a manipulative bitch.

Cedric noticed how happy she looked and realized that his earlier concerns were unnecessary. Noelle had grown much stronger.

He asked calmly, "When are you planning to leave?"

"Once I handle the paperwork tomorrow, I'll get my ticket to Yasnia," Noelle replied, glancing at him.

After she left, she wouldn't be able to see Cedric often. After all, he was the school doctor.

Cedric nodded and said, "Then, we'll have dinner together tomorrow night."

He knew Noelle's feelings, but he couldn't afford to soften his stance. It was time to let go.

The next day, Noelle completed the procedure to move to Yasnia. She was free now, and the Liddell family could no longer control her.

When she returned to her apartment, she found a large spread of food on the table.

Alfred stood nearby. "Nelly, this is for you-a farewell meal."

"Thanks," Noelle said as she sat down. She turned to Alfred and said, "Let's hope the business meeting tomorrow goes smoothly."

"I hope so, too," Alfred replied.

Noelle glanced at Cedric. "Are you going with us tomorrow?"

After all, it was a new company project.

Cedric pursed his lips. "I won't be going tomorrow. You guys can go. Alfred is the one in charge."

"

Noelle felt a bit disappointed, even though she knew this day would come. It was still hard to let go.

Alfred tried to ease the tension. "All good things must come to an end. We'll meet again someday."

Noelle picked up her drink, feeling a little down. After the meal, Alfred went to the balcony to make a call.

Noelle turned to Cedric. "I'm leaving soon. Don't you have anything to say?" Cedric met her gaze calmly. "Be happy. Do what you want without overthinking."

"Is that all?" Noelle asked, feeling a little disappointed.

Cedric avoided her gaze. "When school starts, focus on your studies. Don't rush into a relationship."

Noelle suddenly smiled. "My relationships are my choice."

Cedric was caught off guard. "You're still young."

"I'm already an adult. Besides, aren't you in a relationship, too? I've never seen your girlfriend," Noelle replied. She was genuinely curious about what his girlfriend might be like.
