Chapter 387 Work for Wife
For the Farrells, Maxwell was like a timebomb.
People knew how despicable and dirty Old Mr. Farrell was to his brothers.
Maxwell came back at this time and revealed himself, making people suspicious.
As Faye stopped talking, Colin smiled with mocking in his eyes, "Is that horrible?"
"Yeah," Faye said.
"Maybe my grandpa has never thought his fate enemy would come to him at the end of his life," said
Colin with an evil grin.
"Will he come after you?" Faye turned to look at Colin.
Colin's thin lips softly touched the corners of her lips, saying honestly, "We haven't crossed so far."
"Watch out for him," Faye said.
"I don't want to deal with the Farrells. Can you do it for me, Mrs. Farrell?" Colin's hands on her waist
tightened.
He deliberately lowered his voice and sounded sexy.
"Don't you just tell me to stay away from him?" Faye narrowed her eyes.
"I just forget that I'm a weak delicate man unable to take care of himself in front of his wife."
A weak delicate man unable to take care of himself?
Colin?
Faye couldn't help laughing. Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.
"Darling, I have given everything to you. You need to be nicer to me," Colin flirted with her.
Seeing him pushing his luck, Faye didn't speak with her smiling eyes.
"You need to love me more in the future," he whispered with his lips gently moving on her face.
It was half an hour later when Faye came out of the office.
Colin walked her to the door.
"I'll leave you to work," Faye looked emotionless but her eyes twinkled with a smile.
Colin lowered his head to look at Faye with one hand on the doorframe. "I know. I'll work for my wife,"
he smiled faintly.
Hearing his word, Faye couldn't restrain her smile anymore, "I'm leaving."
"Don't you stay a little longer?" Colin joked with her.
"Talking at work and using working time for private gain. I'll charge you a fine of 30 dollars," Faye said.
"..."
As Colin watched her go, he took the cigarette case from his pocket, took one between his lips, and lit
it.
Just when he took a puff at his cigarette, Robert came out of the next office and came to him, saying
with a low voice, "Mr. Farrell, the community Mrs. Farrell used to live in is being demolished. Should I
tell her about it?"
"No," he muttered.
"Would that make her happy?"
"Does she need to find more from going over the trauma?" Colin squinted at Robert.
"..."
Remembering her breakdown in that house, Colin squashed the cigarette in his mouth.
Suddenly, he thought about something, took the cigarette from his mouth, and put it out. "Do you have
any good ideas about quitting smoke?"
He changed the subject too fast and Robert didn't know what he meant for a moment, "What?"
"I am going to quit smoking," he dropped the cigarette ashes into the trash bin.
"Are you thinking about having a baby?"
"Not yet. She hasn't informed me of that."
Robert felt sorry for his boss, who was drooled over by Mrs. Farrell before and now waited for her
notification of having a baby.
Seeing Robert didn't reply, Colin's voice became a little cold, "Robert?"
Robert came back to his mind from compassion, "I've heard that chewing gum may be helpful. Do you
want to have a try?"
Colin frowned. It was obvious that he didn't want to try, "Anything else?"
Robert took a step forward and cleared his throat, saying quietly, "There's gum with different flavors. It
can freshen your breath. And the kiss..."
He didn't finish the sentence and left room for imagination.
"Robert, when do you become so smutty?" Colin looked at Robert with a strange half-smile.
Robert touched his nose and said, "Mr. Farrell, I dare not to take the word 'smutty' before you."
Colin kicked him when he heard that.
Robert made a quick move and avoided his kick. "Mr. Farrell, I have something important to tell you,"
he changed the subject at once, smiling.
"You'd better have something important," Colin sneered and turned around to the office.
Robert followed him to the office, "You ask me to look into Maxwell and I have something now."
Colin took big strides to his desk and sat down, "What?"
"Maxwell said he was Brandon's son. But he isn't related to Brandon."
"Hmm?" Colin raised his eyebrows.
According to our surveys now, Maxwell is from Bomsville. Someone sent him to Brandon five years
ago."
Colin thought for a moment and didn't say anything.
Just as Robert wanted to say more, Colin's phone on the desk rang.
Colin glanced at the screen and sneered when he saw the name of Blaine Farrell. He slowly got the
phone and answered it.
Before Colin opened his mouth, Blaine shouted angrily on the other side, "Are you want me dead for an
outsider?"
