Chapter 377 I'm Afraid That I Wasn't Even a Back-Burner

After Ethan finished speaking, he strode towards the room where those screams were coming from.

When the manager heard Ethan's words, he looked at Colin with pleading eyes, "Mr. Farrell, this...

This..."

Colin smiled leisurely. He seemed to be friendlier than Ethan but the smile wasn't genuine, "You can

make money without doing any work. Shouldn't you be happy?"

The manager's heart thumped and a thin layer of sweat broke out on his back while he looked at NôvelDrama.Org © 2024.

Colin's faint smile. He smiled awkwardly and said, "Thank... Thank you, Mr. Farrell and Mr. Bond for

giving us the opportunity."

In the KTV room, Ethan's men threw a few hooligans onto the ground.

The leading hooligan was a bald man. He was still trying to fight back despite he was pressed onto the

ground. At the same time, he was scolding.

"How dare you touch me? Do you know who is behind me?"

"If you are smart enough, let me go now. Otherwise, I am going to make you regret it!"

"I..."

Before the bald man could finish speaking, the bodyguard who was suppressing him took the back of

his head and slammed it onto the ground.

In an instant, the bald man had a bruised nose and a swollen face, and his nose was bleeding.

"Fuck!"

The bald man was showing a grimace in pain. He wanted to refute as an instinct but was held back by

the bodyguard which he couldn't move.

Ethan entered the room and glanced at those hooligans coldly. Then, he looked at Violet, who was

sitting on the couch, and pursed her lips slightly.

Ethan asked softly, "Are you okay?"

Violet answered, "I'm fine."

Violet's voice was gentle, which seemed a bit abrupt in such an ambiance.

At first, Ethan thought that Violet was going to walk toward him. Unexpectedly, Violet picked up a half-

filled wine bottle from the coffee table. She walked to the bald man, bent down, and smashed it on the

back of his head with a 'bang'.

The bald man's head was buzzing because of the smash. The wine flowed down his head and mixed

with his nosebleed.

Violet's hit was hard. The bald man didn't recover for a long time.

Violet took a deep breath and threw the remaining wine bottle from her hand onto the ground. Then,

she stood up straight, turned to look at Ethan, and said, "Let's go."

Ethan seemed to be surprised after seeing that, but he remained calm and said, "Um."

Ethan and Violet came out of the room one after another.

After walking about three feet, Violet said softly, "I'm sorry for the trouble tonight."

Ethan said, "Please don't be sorry. Grandpa asked me to look after you. "

While the two were talking, they reached the hall.

When Colin saw them, he raised his eyebrows slightly, stood up, and asked, "What was it?"

Ethan lowered his head to look at the watch on his wrist, and answered irrelevantly, "I'm hungry. Let's

find a place to eat."

Colin looked at Ethan with a naughty face, smiled playfully, and reached out to Faye by saying,

"Honey."

Faye put one of her hands onto Colin's palm and supported herself to get up. When she saw Violet,

she nodded and smiled at her as a greeting.

The four of them walked out of the KTV, and the manager kept up with them diligently, "Mr. Farrell, Mr.

Bond, may I operate normally now?"

Ethan glanced at him coldly, "Are you in a hurry to operate the business?"

The manager choked and said hurriedly, "No. No, I'm not."

Ethan said, "Don't worry. I won't let you do business at a loss."

After Ethan finished speaking, he retracted his gaze coldly and left.

The manager looked at their backs while they were leaving, heaved a long sigh, and patted his heart.

"That scared me!"

"What have I done to make these people come to me?"

After that, the manager turned and asked the waiter, who was standing beside him, "Who was the

customer in 1503?"

The waiter answered, " I have no idea. But it's reserved under Mr. Hawkins's name."

The manager frowned and asked, "Owen Hawkins?"

The waiter said, "Is there any other son in the Hawkins besides him?"

The manager didn't look good and said, "We can't afford to offend these people. None of Ethan's men

left. Get someone to call Mr. Hawkins and ask if those people are with him."

The waiter was smart. He nodded and said, "I'll go right away."

After leaving the KTV, Colin suggested having the dinner at Marriott. Faye would share a car with him

while Ethan would send Violet home.

After Ethan drove for a while, he asked Violet, "Have you eaten?"

Violet replied calmly, "I did."

Ethan replied, "All right. I will send you home first."

Even though Violet looked calm, the hand that she used to smash the bald man had been shaking ever

since she left the KTV room.

Ethan pretended not to notice it and drove at a gallop.

When they almost arrived at Violet's rented place, the mobile phone in his pocket rang suddenly.

Ethan used his thumb to press on the steering wheel, and an attentive voice was heard in the car.

"Ethan, where are you?"

Ethan looked at the car's monitor with Owen's name displayed on it, and said solemnly, "What's up?"

Owen was scared of Ethan very much. He paused and said in a flattering tone, "Ethan, I heard that the

dance teacher is your people?"

When he mentioned Violet, Ethan glanced at the passenger seat and said, "Are you the one who asked

the hooligans to kidnap her?"

Owen explained, "Ethan, it was a misunderstanding. What happened today was purely a

misunderstanding."

When Owen was speaking, he lowered his voice and said, "Ethan, don't be angry with me for being a

busybody. I just have one question for you. I heard that the dance teacher has a boyfriend. You're not

being treated as a back-burner, aren't you?"
