Chapter 370 Human Blood Bun
In the evening, public relations department worked overtime.
Faye didn’t go home, and a few veterans of public relations department fixed their eyes on Natalia’s
team.
Galen bought midnight snack for Faye, knocked the door and brought it in. “Ms. Nash, get something to
eat.”
Faye looked away from the screen of computer, “Thanks.”
Galen, “This time Fanny suffered critical hit. Natalia bit what she caught just like a mad dog.”
Faye, “She is taking the opportunity to hype, making her new play a hot topic.”
Galen, “Is she so disgusting?”
Faye opened the meal box, “Didn’t you notice? Every time she tore others, most likely her new play
would be on show. Or, she hasn’t shot a scene for a long time and she was afraid that the masses
forgot her, therefore she came out to make a presence.”
Galen made a nauseated expression, “Almost like a black sheep of the entertainment industry.”
Faye smiled and didn’t reply.
It was one in the morning. Faye leaned back in her office chair to have a rest. Faye heard the mobile
phone ringtone rang stridently while she was half asleep, half awake.
Faye knitted her brows, stretching out for the phone.
When she saw it showed the call reminder of Rex on the screen, a bad feeling raised.
Faye’s fingertip touched the answer key, “Hello, Rex.”
Rex choked out on the other side, “M-M-Ms. Nash, Fanny’s grandma passed away.”
Faye roused, felt wide awake, “What?”
Rex, “Her grandma had just finished the operation and was still weak. Before dawn, several Natalia’s
fans appeared unexpectedly in the old lady’s sickroom.”
Rex said something later, but Faye didn’t hear it clearly, she felt her head was buzzing.
She only met Fanny’s grandma once, though the old lady was sleeping at that time, it was impressive.
She still remembered how she looked when Fanny talking about her grandma--a smile on Fanny’s
face, light in her eyes.
Faye’s thought wandered for a while, then she retrieved her train of thought and forced herself to calm
down. “How is Fanny now?”
Rex, “In the sickroom.”
Faye, “I’m coming.”
Hanging up the phone, Faye picked up the car key on the desk and stepped out of her office quickly.
Witnessing what happened, Galen asked, “Ms. Nash, where are you going?”
Faye answered coldly, “Fanny’s grandma passed away, fix your eyes on Natalia’s team.”
Galen stunned, “Is, is it related to cyber violence?”
Faye didn’t answer, disappeared in the public relations department doorway.
After her leaving, the veterans of public relations department who were on duty all took a cold breath.
Faye drove up to hospital, only to find the sickroom door closed. Rex sat on the corridor bench alone,
hands on head.
His usual meticulous hairstyle was pulled in a mess.
Faye, “Rex.”
Rex raised his head at this voice, took a deep breath and stood up. “Ms. Nash.”
Faye looked towards the sickroom door, “Is Fanny still in?”
Rex replied, “Yes.”
Faye, “I’ll see her in the room.”
Rex asked in a cracked voice, "Ms. Nash, may I ask you something?"
Faye stopped walking and turned around, “What’s it?”
Rex smiled bitterly, "Is it very hard for an ordinary person to succeed?"
Faye’s heart tightened, but she answered in a calm and steady voice, “Yes.”
Rex was about to cry with his eyes rather red. “I know, in fact many colleagues in our company laughed
at Fanny behind her, saying she was daydreaming. Many people in your department annoyed her too,
they thought she always brought troubles to you.”
Faye, “Everybody laughs at Fanny, but everyone is Fanny.”
All of them were common and worthless, however they taunted Fanny about her worthless.
Looking at Faye, Rex fell two lines of tears. At last he covered his eyes with his hand, sat down on the
bench behind him and took a deep breath. “Ms. Nash, I’m so sorry. Please, please get in!”
Faye pressed her lips, turned around and pushed the sickroom door, entering the room.
In the room, Fanny knelt down before the sickbed. She was burning paper,at the same time she was
humming a song that's out of tune, which sounded like a nursery rhyme.
Noticed that someone in, Fanny moved her head.
Seeing it was Faye, Fanny smiled reluctantly. “Here you are, Ms. Nash.”
Fanny’s face was pale, her eyes were swollen into a seam. When she smiled, it was pathetic and sad.
Faye felt as if something stuck in her throat, she inhaled and said, “Do not grieve too much.”
Fanny smiled, retracted her eyes and continued to burn paper. “It’s all right. My grandma was so sick NôvelDrama.Org is the owner.
anyway, perhaps death was a relief for her.”
Faye, “...”
Faye didn’t know how to comfort her, in this kind of atmosphere, she felt unbearably suffocating.
Burning paper for a while, Fanny turned her head and looked at Faye suddenly. “Ms. Nash, could you
do me a favor?”
Faye lifted her tips, “What’s it?”
Fanny, “I hope my grandma buried in great splendor.”
Fanny finished, then she explained, “All my advertising contracts terminated for my rumors, so I paid all
the penalty myself. I, I...”
She had no money.
Besides she donated two hundred thousand to the snow disaster two days ago, she had no money for
grandma’s funeral at all.
Faye said softly, “I’ll pay for holding grandma’s funeral.”
Fanny, “Thank you.”
Over the next minutes, Fanny didn’t say anything to Faye.
Faye stood beside to accompany her. A few minutes later, she went forward and knelt down with her.
Fanny looked at Faye surprisingly, “Ms. Nash.”
Faye, “Live well.”
Fanny kept silent, big tears rolled down.
Next morning, Fanny got contact with the crematorium.
When grandma’s body was pulled away, Fanny’s eyes looked dull, not a single tear was shed.
Eventually, the crematorium staff gave her the cinerary casket.
Fanny held it with both hands, said a word dully. “I have no home.”
Fanny was in extremely poor mental state. Went out of the crematorium, Faye asked Rex to sent
Fanny home, she drove back to her company.
Nobody knew who divulged the news of the death of Fanny’s grandma, which caused an uproar on the
Internet.
[Two stars battled with each other, why one’s fans went to the sickroom of the other one’s grandma?]
[Are you all crazy? Why bully a sick old lady online?]
[This time Keyboard Men play the tough guy, kill without blood.]
Faye drove up to the company, entered her office, and saw the breakfast on the office desk when she
pushed the door open.
Turned her head, Faye took a look at Galen who was in a busy outside of the door.
Galen understood immediately, smiled and said, “Mr. Farrell brought it here personally.”
Galen nodded, took out her mobile phone and send a message to Colin: [See the breakfast you
delivered.]
Colin: [Need a favor on Fanny?]
Faye: [I have almost collected enough evidence.]
Colin: [Eat well.]
Faye: [Hmm.]
Though promised Colin to eat well, Faye didn’t feel like eating anything.
When Faye was about to arrange her subordinates to struck back on Natalia, Galen pushed the door
and went in with anger.
“Ms. Nash, Natalia has no shame at all.”
Faye frowned, “What did she do again?”
Galen slapped the pad on the office desk angrily, “She said that Fanny was enjoying the human blood
bun of her grandma!”
How despicable could one be?
To say a word so heartless?!
Faye took a look on the pad screen, her face looked grave suddenly.
Natalia:[Everyone knows I’m straight. Some little star is a weeping beauty only knows angling for
sympathy. Your grandma were seriously ill in bed, now she died, why blame on me? Enjoy the human
blood bun of your own grandma, I wonder if she could lie tranquilly underground!]
[Damn, I thought her grandmother was die of anger owing to the fans, actually she was sick early on.]
[It’s said that she was brought up all by her grandma. How pathetic is her grandma.]
[Crack me up, when did we bully her online? Couldn’t we tell the truth in this society?]
[If cyber violence caused death, why Fanny didn’t go to hell?]
[Even if she went to hell, she would die of shame on herself. It’s none of our business.]
Seeing that Faye’s eyes looked like ice, Galen said, “Ms. Nash, should we allow Natalia to slander on
Fanny?”
Faye looked up with a cold voice, “Go to contact legal services. I remember when spreading rumors
over five hundred times and the number of visitors on the web browser over five thousand, it could be
sentenced.”
Galen, “Don’t we explain?”
Faye, “If explanation is useful each time, there would be no law in the world.”
