Chapter 316 The Beginning
Everyone got surprised after hearing what Colin said.
After a long while, Blaine looked at Colin and asked in disbelief, "I beg your pardon?"
Colin took the cigarette from his lips and dropped the cigarette ashes into an ashtray. He didn't answer
Blaine, but said with a spurious smile, "I have 15% of the shares of the Farrell Group. You can buy it
with three hundred million only."
After hearing this, Blaine scolded him angrily, "Are you nuts?"
Colin ignored him and said, "That's the price for tonight only."
Blaine got speechless.
Three hundred million for 15% shares of the Farrell Group was not that pricey.
Now, Blaine only got 3% more shares than Tiffany. If Tiffany got the 15% shares, she would become
the biggest shareholder of the Farrell Group.
Then she would have the veto power.
It'd be bad.
While Blaine was thinking, Tiffany was also thinking about what would be the best for her.
After what happened tonight, she became the laughingstock in her field, and she might have to get
divorced and be kicked out of the Farrells.NôvelDrama.Org owns all content.
If she got the 15% shares, Blaine would have to show her some respect even if she couldn't control
him.
The two scheming foxes looked at each other and feared that the other person would get it first. The
next second, they said in unison.
"I'll buy it."
"I'll buy it!"
After hearing it, Colin smiled jokingly, "I want to sell all my 15% shares to one person, so it can only be
one of you."
Blaine calmed himself down and spoke first, "Colin, I don't know why you suddenly decide to sell all
your shares. But I hope you know one thing. The shares of the Farrells must not be possessed by
outsiders."
Then, Blaine glanced at Hank and said, "Hank has really disappointed me. Don't follow his example."
Blaine was mean.
And he was extremely disgusting.
He would do anything to achieve his goals. Colin sneered at him in heart but didn't show it.
Seeing that Colin was about to finish his smoking of a cigarette, Tiffany gritted her teeth and said,
"Colin, I will give you 305 million."
Colin looked up at Tiffany and asked, "Are you sure?"
Tiffany replied, "I'll have someone transfer the money right away."
Colin smiled, "OK, deal."
Colin agreed so soon that Tiffany looked at him distrustfully and asked, "When will I get the shares?"
Colin derided, "I will contact my lawyer right now."
Hearing that Colin and Tiffany had reached an agreement, Blaine was excited, "Colin!"
Colin sneered, "Whoever offers the highest price gets the shares. I'm not interested in the internal
power struggle. I only want to get the money."
Blaine then said, "I can pay you 310 million!"
Colin smiled, "Integrity is important when doing business."
After that, he took out his mobile phone and called Ethan.
He asked Ethan to draft three share transfer contracts and bring them to him.
Ethan said in a cold voice, "I will have my assistant bring them to you in an hour."
Colin replied, "Thanks."
After hanging up the phone, Colin ignored Blaine's anger and turned to look at Faye, "Honey, I'm going
to see grandpa. Are you coming with me?"
Faye glanced at the man behind Tiffany and answered, "Okay."
When they walked to the third floor, Faye said in a voice that only two of them could hear, "If grandpa
knows that you have sold your shares, he would probably know what you want to do next."
Colin smiled mockingly, "So what? We don't even know if he can survive this spring."
Faye then said, "Something is strange about grandpa' s disease."
Colin replied, "He has been scheming and calculating all his life. But he can't even enjoy his old age in
peace."
Colin and Faye walked to Old Mr. Farrell's room and knocked on the door, and York opened the door
for them.
York looked at Colin in his eyes and shook his head lightly.
Colin then looked at Old Mr. Farrell, who was lying still on the bed, and asked, "Dying?"
York replied, "The doctor said he has at most two months to live."
Colin said, "In the whole Farrells family, you are the most loyal to grandpa."
York replied calm, "Oh, thank you, Mr Farrell."
Colin forced a smile and walked into the room.
Old Mr. Farrell had lost a lot of weight in just a few days. They couldn't even recognize him now.
Colin strode to his bed, leaned over, and called him in a gentle voice, "Grandpa."
Old Mr. Farrell opened his eyes slowly.
After seeing that Colin was at the bedside, he asked weakly, "You know it all?"
Colin asked back, "What are you referring to?"
Old Mr. Farrell closed his eyes again, looking extremely tired, "When you were a child, I thought you
were good for nothing. But when I realized I was wrong, you had shown your ability to the full extent."
Old Mr. Farrell paused, took a deep breath, and opened his eyes.
He stared at Colin with his old but shrewd eyes, "Tell me how will you deal with the Farrells?"
