Love’s Final Reveal

Chapter 45

Dominick had always thought he hated his mother.

At least, that was what he always thought.

In his memories, she never offered a tender smile or a warm embrace, leaving him only with the cold image of her turning her back and walking away.

She heartlessly abandoned him in a cold and uncaring family and never returned,

So, Dominick believed he hated his mother.

He never sought her out, even when he grew up.

He often thought that if he ever met her again, he would leave her just as coldly as she had treated him.

But it wasn’t until he heard what Heather had revealed that he truly understood what had happened back then.

Years of hatred towards his mother turned into guilt, slowly making him heartbroken.

The woman he had called mother for over a decade was responsible for all of it

In his life, he had wronged two women due to misunderstandings, two women who were the most important to him.

Laura collapsed on the ground, crying and then laughing hysterically.

“I’ve lost, but so what? You’ve all been played by me!

“Landon…my son…I know you’re still alive. You’re right here with me, aren’t you?”

She had gone mad.

When Heather forced her to face the truths she had avoided for two years, Laura completely lost her mind.

The wedding that was supposed to be joyful turned into a disaster, which was unexpected for Lola.

Even more unexpected was that Dominick’s mother, whom he had dared not mention for many years, was Heather!

This was the first time they

y saw Heather without her veil. There was no fear, only sympathy.

The scars on her face weren’t hideous. They were a testament to over a decade of sorrow and hardship.

Heather’s gaze trembled as it met Dominick’s, but she quickly looked away.

She was full of regret

She hated that she couldn’t protect her mother and son and that she couldn’t face Dominick and acknowledge him.

She was afraid.

She was afraid that Dominick wouldn’t forgive her more afraid that he would utter heartless words. It would be better if he never knew her true identity

“You’ve suffered.”

These were the first words Dominick said to her after learning her identity.

Tears immediately began to fall from her eyes.

“It’s me who should be sorry”

Lola glanced at Dominick, guessing he must be heartbroken.

He had harbored hatred towards two women,

He was only to find out that the two women he hated were not the ones at fault. He must be feeling devastated.

Surprisingly, Lola found herself feeling pity for Dominick,

When she realized she felt this way, her expression darkened, and she turned to leave.

The drama was over, and she had no reason to stay

“Layla, wait for me?” Ethan hurried after her.

Dominick’s gaze followed Lola’s retreating figure, but he made no move to follow.

There was so much he wanted to say, but he couldn’t bring himself to speak them.

Heather wiped away her tears and put the veil back on.

“I know, after all these years, you’ve g

ve gotten used to your life now, or maybe you can’t forgive me. So, let’s pretend today’s events never happened.”

Heather slowly turned around, her steps heavy.

“You don’t have to wear the veil anymore.”

After a long silence, Dominick finally spoke.

a joke.”

Her beautiful eyes were filled with complex emotions as if they held many unspoken thoughts..

“Dominick seemed to have guessed from the start that this wedding wouldn’t go smoothly.” Ethan finally broached the main subject.

Today, he saw Dominick risk his life to protect Lola, reacting even faster than him. It didn’t seem feigned at all.

“I didn’t expect Heather to be his mother. It’s such a small world.”

Lola massaged her forehead, leaning back

She implied she didn’t want to discuss Dominick and his family anymore.

Ethan, always putting Lola first, soothed her softly, Alright, alright, we won’t talk about it anymore. Dominick has made it clear he won’t help the Moore family anymore, and they’re about to collapse. You should be happy.”

She thought maybe she would be happy.

Even if the Moore family truly fell, what was lost would never return.

Once everything came to light, even revenge seemed less significant.

“Let it be.”

Lola suddenly spoke, her tone indifferent as if she had seen through everything

“The Moore family isn’t worth our time anymore. Let them be. They won’t be able to stand up again.”

Ethan was slightly stunned. “But we came back this time to settle debts. Don’t you want to personally destroy the Moore family to ste the grudges of these past years?”

Lola smiled, realizing it didn’t matter anymore.

She had already foreseen the Moore family’s future.

“We just need to watch quietly. Why waste our resources?”

Ethan hadn’t expected Lola to back down, but she was right. Everything was heading towards an inevitable end. If they took action, it would only hasten the Moore family’s demise. This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org: ©.

“Okay, we’ll do as you say.”

Since the wedding, Dominick had not returned to the Sinclair family.

“Frank, I don’t care how you do it. You must find Dominick! Only he can save us now!”

In just three days, Gary aged dramatically, his hair speckled with gray hair and new wrinkles on his face.

The one thing that hadn’t changed was his arrogance.

“Do you think I don’t want to find him? His phone’s off, and he hasn’t come home. Where am ad to look? Frank’s expression was grim, and his

face looked even more weathered.

“So what do we do now? All of the Moore Group’s projects have ground to a halt. If this continues, the Moore family will be bankrupt in three days. The Moore family is done for!”

Gary shouted. Having had several outbursts at home to no avail, he vented his frustration at the Sinclair family instead.

Frank slammed his cane onto the ground. “Do you think the Sinclair family is any better off?

“Laura has gone mad, now in a mental hospital! My son, because of the Sinclair Group’s stock plummeting, is now in a coma in the hospital. At my age, I still have to swallow my pride and ask for help from old friends”

Samantha wore a worried expression, sighing repeatedly,

It’s all ruined… How could the Sinclair family fall so low? How am I to face our family?

“Where on earth did Dominick go? Can he really bear to abandon the company he personally expanded? Can he truly give it all up?”
