Ghea was sure that Randy would tease her mercilessly, especially if he found out she had dreamed of the two of them being intimately involved, something she had been avoiding.

“Ah, come on. Don’t make baseless accusations,” Ghea defended herself, trying to keep her composure as much as possible.

Randy nodded and let Ghea prepare, choosing to wait in the dining room so they could have breakfast together later.

After completing their morning routines, Randy and Ghea headed to the office together. Upon arrival, Ghea joined the other interns, getting ready for a meeting, while Randy went straight to his office. Darwin and Kennedy were already there, having come early to discuss something with him.

“If you agree, Ran, it means the business plan we discussed yesterday should be ready to execute next month. Kennedy and I have surveyed the field, and it seems clear and ready to run.”

Darwin spoke seriously about the business plan that he, Randy, Kennedy, and some other colleagues had agreed upon. Not wanting to waste any more time, Darwin had brought Kennedy to Randy’s office first to confirm his cousin’s readiness. They also discussed the next steps they might take in the future.

“I can confirm that everything is back on track today. Once it’s clear, we can execute it the day after tomorrow,” Randy responded.

“Because everything is clear, Kennedy and I will take our leave. By the way, how was your short vacation with Ghea in Bali?” Darwin inquired. His face looked curious because some time ago, his cousin had been surprised by Ghea’s sudden visit.

“So far, so good,” Randy replied casually.

“And? Was it successful?”

Randy furrowed his brow.

“Successful in what?”

“Ugh!” Darwin sighed. He couldn’t believe Randy didn’t understand the question he had asked.

“Yeah, Ran, what Darwin meant was, have you and Ghea successfully consummated your marriage?”

Understanding the explanation from both of his cousins, Randy just gave a faint smile. After a while, he responded to the question to satisfy Darwin and Kennedy’s curiosity.

Randy laughed again and let his two cousins leave. While continuing his work, a few minutes later, Stella appeared from behind the door. She approached Randy, carrying something, which she then handed to him.

“These are the contract documents from the Indonusa side that you requested. If everything is final and doesn’t need any more revisions, their representative will come this afternoon to pick up the copies.”

Randy nodded and took the files from Stella. After reading them for a moment and making sure there was nothing to be changed or added, Randy handed the documents back.

“It’s correct. Let them know to pick up their copies as soon as possible.”

After uttering those words, Randy allowed Stella to leave. However, the woman who worked as a manager and often helped him with his work did not move at all. She didn’t budge from her standing position, as if there was something she wanted to convey.

“Why, Stell? Is there something else you want to say?”

Stella nodded. Lifting her face, she stared directly at Randy.

“Beforehand, I apologize for unintentionally overhearing your conversation with Darwin and Kennedy about marriage. Again, I apologize for eavesdropping.”

“Then?” Randy replied, a little surprised. “Why?”

“I know this is impolite, but… honestly, I didn’t expect that after being married for so long, you and Ghea have never been intimate. I’ll be honest here; I’ve always felt that after all this time, you must have known that I have stronger feelings for you.”
