“Wow, Randy!”

Ghea jolted in surprise. When she opened her eyes, she found her husband sitting on the edge of the bed, gazing at her face from such a close distance.Content property of NôvelDra/ma.Org.

It’s unclear how long the man had been sitting there, but one thing was certain-his appearance was neat and fragrant. If Ghea had to guess, her husband was probably going to an important meeting after this.

“Could you please not scream like that? I’m not a devil, Ghea. I kissed you again like last night, just to taste you!”

Ghea immediately sighed. Seriously, why was she so shocked earlier? How could she wake up and find Randy’s face almost glued to hers?

Instantly, memories of the kissing incident from last night flashed in her mind. Especially now that Randy mentioned it, her cheeks turned red again in embarrassment.

“Ugh, you’re such a tease! Watch out, you dare to kiss me without permission like last night. It’s so rude!”

“So, to be polite, I have to ask for permission before kissing you? Is that what you mean?”

Ghea rolled her eyes. Annoyed because her husband enjoyed teasing her so much. It’s as if something was missing if he didn’t irritate her at least once a day.

“Not exactly the concept. Besides, what are you doing making me startle like that early in the morning?”

Randy grinned. With his hands, he playfully messed up Ghea’s hair.

“Not startling. I just wanted to make sure you’re okay. Did you sleep well or were you disturbed?”

“Don’t worry. I slept well.”

Upon hearing Ghea’s answer, Randy squinted knowingly. “Sweet dreams, huh?” he asked.

Ghea rolled her eyes. With an innocent expression, she tried to remember if she had a nice dream or the opposite last night.

“It feels like I dreamt. But, I forgot what I dreamt about. Why? Is there a reason?”

“Well, who knows, maybe the kissing scene from last night continued in your dream. Or maybe, it went even further than that.”

Ghea groaned loudly. She silenced Randy by covering his mouth with one of her hands, hoping he would stop talking and spare her from further embarrassment.

“Enough, okay! It’s still morning. Please, don’t be annoying.”

Randy tried to laugh with his mouth covered. He intentionally bit Ghea’s fingers, making her wince in pain.

“I’m not annoying, Ghea. Just asking. Besides, if the dream continues and goes beyond-”

Ghea cut him off with a loud groan, silencing him. She wished he would stop talking, as it was making her even more embarrassed.

“Okay, that’s it! It’s morning. Please, no more teasing.”

Randy attempted to laugh with his mouth covered. He playfully nibbled on Ghea’s fingers, causing her to complain about the pain.

“I’m not teasing, Ghea. I’m just asking. And besides, if the dream continues and goes beyond just a kiss-”

Ghea blushed intensely. Why did he ask a question that made her feel awkward?

“Don’t need to answer,” Randy said when he realized his wife was visibly uncomfortable with his previous comment. “But, by the way, it’s better to shower quickly now. Before I leave for work, let’s have breakfast together. What do you think? It’s all set up.”

Ghea nodded weakly. After all, she was hungry. Not wanting to waste time and make Randy wait, she hurriedly got up and then ran to the bathroom. After completing her morning routine and being fully prepared, she approached Randy, who was already sitting and waiting. In front of him, various breakfast items were laid out on the dining table in their room.

“Today, I have a meeting with some investors, and it will probably end around two or three in the afternoon. While I’m away, stay in the hotel, okay? Don’t go anywhere.”

While enjoying breakfast, Randy gave instructions. He was worried that Ghea might go out alone without his supervision, fearing that something might happen to her.

“Sure. I won’t go anywhere.”

“Good,” Randy replied with a smile. “Later, after the meeting, I’ll take you out for a little walk.”

“Where to?”

Ghea responded immediately. Her tone indicated her enthusiasm. After all, she rarely traveled outside the city, let alone abroad. That’s why, despite initially refusing to accompany Randy, she couldn’t deny that she was quite happy to follow him to Bali.

“Where do you want to go? Just put it on the wishlist. If we have time, we’ll visit together after I finish the meeting.”

Ghea nodded repeatedly. She couldn’t wait for her husband to come back from the meeting and take her on a tour.

“In that case, I’ll leave now. You be careful in the hotel room. If anything happens, contact the hotel staff or call me right away.”

After finishing breakfast, Randy prepared to leave. Before he left, he gave Ghea instructions to anticipate anything that might happen while he was away.

Ghea complied. She stood up, then happily escorted Randy to the door of the room.

“You be careful too. When you’re on your way back, let me know so I can get ready.”

“Okay, got it.”

After nodding for a moment, without hesitation, Randy reached for Ghea’s neck and planted a quick kiss on her forehead. It was a farewell kiss for his departure to work right away.

Meanwhile, Ghea could only stand there frozen. She didn’t know how to describe the strange sensation that now seemed to flow through her entire bloodstream. Was she starting to fall in love?
