Caesar was silent for a long time, before striding out of his office and coming to the room Wilbur was in.

Caesar turned to the Special Forces officers. "Get out, all of you."

"What?" The officers were clearly in shock.

This man here had just assaulted a dozen security guards, beating one of them to an inch of his life! He was clearly a huge danger to the event, yet the head of security was telling them to leave just like that.

Caesar saw them unwilling to leave and shouted, "Are you all deaf? Get out!"

The officers hardly dared to say another word and hurried out of the room.

Just then, Caesar came up to Wilbur. He bowed deeply to Wilbur, before saying, "I'm so sorry, sir. I apologize for what just happened."

"Ah. I see you managed to make that call, then?" Wilbur asked playfully.

Caesar remained bowed. "Yes, I did, sir. The president's office has confirmed your identity. Allow me to apologize to you once more."

"I accept your apology. Let's end this, then." Wilbur clearly did not wish for this to go on either. He was here to accompany Elise, not to start trouble.

Just as he had gotten up, Caesar said, "Please don't worry about that guard, sir. He'll be severely punished and sent to court to be sentenced. This is the price he has to pay for insulting you and your country."

Wilbur fell silent and could not help but sigh to himself.

This was just how power worked. No wonder everyone wanted nothing more than to climb up the ranks. Who wouldn't want special authority like that?

Wilbur left the room with Elise in tow.

Caesar chased behind them, scrambling to hand his name card to Wilbur. "Sir, please feel free to call me anytime if you run into any problems here at all. I'll be sure to get to you as soon as possible and have it sorted out."

Wilbur merely smiled. The world truly was a cruel one where the mighty survived, and everyone else trampled on.

As long as you were powerful enough, everyone and anyone would show you respect.

"I wonder if I can still catch Jennifer," Elise sighed.

Wilbur frowned. "I could get her over here so you can get a photo together."

"Huh?" Elise was stunned but shook her head in the end. "It's alright, that won't look very good."

Wilbur smiled as well, saying nothing more.

Just then, however, the two of them happened to run into the Dashan celebrity they passed by just now at the photo station.

Elise smacked herself on the forehead. "I was too busy talking to you to tell you this just now! Look, that's a celebrity from Dasha, Jayla Loss!"

Wilbur raised an eyebrow. So that was Jayla Loss. She did indeed look a little familiar, but Wilbur could not for the life of him remember what he had seen her in.

After giving it some thought, Wilbur said, "Let's go and say hi. I've been told to look out for her."

Before Elise could say anything, Jayla glanced at Wilbur coldly. "What an embarrassment."
