Chapter 118 He Looks Good In Anything

After Maggie got into the car, Nathael’s gaze was indifferent as he casually flipped through a financial magazine, as if he had forgotten the letter she had left him days before.

Despite this, the fact was undeniable. Actually, the drawing she did of him was quite real, wasn’t it?

skills.

Setting aside the text, Maggie had confidence in her own sk

The drive was peaceful. Nathael didn’t seem to have any intention of giving her a hard time, which allowed Maggie to breathe a sigh of relief and wonder if she might have misjudged him, suspecting malice where there was none.

Since they stayed in the bustling city center, it only took about ten minutes before the car slowly entered Misk City’s largest international shopping complex.

As a fashion capital, the array of brands displayed was appealing, featuring various limited editions, new designs, and designer brands. There was something for everyone.

Maggie suddenly felt distressed about her wallet.

Shopping in one of the world’s most expensive places, for the world’s most expensive brands, for the world’s most expensive man–it all seemed like an extravagant affair.

Maggie thought that if he weren’t Nathael, she would’ve run away.

“Do you have any particular favourite brands or designers?” Maggie asked, turning her gaze to the man beside her.

Among the many foreign faces, Nathael didn’t look inferior to them. His dimensional and deep features, combined with his distinctive look, made him stand out in the crowd, causing many unknowing people to mistake him for a celebrity from some country.

“Just take a look,” Nathael remarked, glancing at her and speaking flatly.

Maggie nodded. She felt his request wasn’t too much, and she wanted to look around the mall as well. After all, this shopping complex was also known for its distinctive architectural design and decoration style.

Nathael led the way into a men’s clothing store, and Maggie followed.

“Sir, madam, it’s my pleasure to serve you. My name is Sofia, and I hope I can be of help.”

The sales associate began in a foreign language and switched seamlessly once it was clear communication wasn’t an issue, and she enthusiastically began her pitch.

“This black suit is the top designer look for this year, with a sleek and sharp cut and a light and soft fabric. There’s an interesting little design on the lining of the hem, a string of foregin wording embroidery that says, “The most beautiful rose is bestowed upon you.”

Listening to the sales pitch, Maggie remained silent.

Although she didn’t quite understand why a designer would put such an equivocal phrase on the lining of a suit, she had to admit that the suit’s quality and style looked quite good.

“Do you like it?” Maggie asked warmly. Her eyes were clear and sincere, lacking some of her usual cunning.

“It’s alright, Nathael replied softly. Maggie prompted, “Then try it on in a bit.”

Nathael was willing to put on a free fashion show, and she wasn’t about to miss it.

After all, she hadn’t had the chance to properly observe him in her previous life. So today, on her dime, she could enjoy it to the fullest.

Thinking that the clothes on this man were always pleasant to the eyes, Maggie became quite excited.

This one, this one, and this one too; try them all.” Enthusiastically, Maggie picked several different types. of suits. She discussed them with Sofia for a while, matching them with various styles of shirts and shoes.

Ten minutes later, Maggie and Sofia brought the clothes into the fitting room.

Nathael watched as more than twenty suits were placed on the clothing rack. He paused his step. After averting his gaze away from the clothes, he looked at Maggie’s face.

Maggie smiled and said earnestly, “You don’t understand; you couldn’t shy away from effort when we shopped. You have to find styles and fits that suit yourself, and you should also try types you normally wouldn’t consider. Be bold in trying new things.”

Nathael’s pupils were dark as they met her lively eyes. He smiled and replied lightly, “Okay.”

Alex was not too far away. He couldn’t help but touch his nose after listening to Maggie’s words.

When he saw Nathael actually entering the fitting room, his jaw almost dropped.

This woman was definitely a formidable presence!

His boss disliked trying clothes on the most. He usually had his clothes personally tailored by a few regular designers, and he never tried on emergency selections. Nathael was never the type to go through the hassle of trying on clothes.

After Nathael entered the fitting room, Maggie sat on the sofa, sipping her juice. She was in a good mood.

She spent money on one suit and watched the dignified Mr. Harris perform a fashion show, which was well worth it, by any account.

But why was Nathael so agreeable today?

It was quite unlike him. Belongs to (N)ôvel/Drama.Org.

Maggie had a bad feeling about it, for no apparent reason.

But then she comforted herself by thinking she was just overthinking–it was just a suit; after all, what could he do to her?

Minutes later, Nathael emerged from the changing room in a dark blue suit.

Maggie was momentarily stunned. His figure was upright. His feature was sharp. He had beautifully long and deep–set eyes and a straight nose.

His beauty was the tyne that stood out from the average, captivating one’s attention instantly and making

it hard to look away.

Maggie had to admit that watching a man like Nathael dress up was a pleasant sight.

“Not bad,” Maggie sincerely affirmed, as someone like her really wouldn’t say something was good if it

wasn’t.

Nathael raised an eyebrow and responded indifferently, ‘I think so too.”

His response rendered Maggie speechless.

A few minutes later, Nathael changed into a silver–gray suit. This look presented a different style that was more mature and stable, yet still stunningly eye–catching.

Maggie couldn’t help but stand up and size him up. She admitted it after a moment and said, “It seems pretty good on you too.”

After Nathael tried on six or seven suits, Maggie found herself at a loss for words.

Because she realised something. This man looked good in everything!

Maggie suddenly remembered a saying: There are some people in this world who would look good even in a sack. Clearly, Nathael was one of those people,

With broad shoulders, a narrow waist, and lean hips, he looked slim in clothes but muscular without them. His face was strikingly beautiful, without a single flaw to pick out.

“This one is quite nice too.”

Watching Nathael try on yet another suit, Maggie still couldn’t bring herself to say anything insincere.

Nathael arched an eyebrow. He leisurely adjusted his shirt cuffs, looking at Maggie, and asked, “Just quite

nice?”

Maggie was wordless.

“It’s more than just nice. It’s extremely good–looking! Absolutely stunning! Mr. Harris is the type who could live off your good looks alone. Everything looks good on you!”

Maggie wholeheartedly flattered him. Her earnestness and certainty shine through her clear eyes, as genuine and steadfast as could be.

Maggie thought that since flattery costs nothing, she might as well keep him in good spirits to prevent him from dredging up any past issues with her.

Just a second later, Maggie couldn’t laugh anymore.

Nathael grinned a little. Not bothering to change out of his clothes, he turned to Sofia and declared, “Since that’s the case, wrap up everything for me.”
