Chapter 14 Got on his love pirate ship
Roan’s “lovely sister” remark kept me up all night.
I dreamed of the youthful Roan from the past, and then the present cold Roan.
The two faces alternated before me, both calling me “sister.”
Luckily, the next day was a weekend, so I didn’t have to go to work, or else I wouldn’t be able to get up at all.
However, I was still awakened by a series of phone rings.
Since I had asked the agent to find a new house for me, and now they had found one, it wouldn’t be suitable not to check it out.
I reluctantly got up, freshened up, put on a hat, and headed out with heavy dark circles under my eyes.
As soon as I opened the door, Roan, holding breakfast, was standing at my doorstep.
“Why did you change the password again?”
He seemed to have been waiting at the door for a long time, and his expression appeared somewhat hurt.
“I…”
I didn’t know how to explain; words failed me for a while.
“Are you going out?”
He continued to ask, observing my appearance.
“Yeah… um… something came up…”
I avoided his gaze, wanting to slip away quietly. However, his tall figure blocked my way completely.
?Ding ding ding…】 The phone rang, and I picked it up absentmindedly.
“Miss Greer, have you arrived? This house is really perfect for you. You must come and take a look…”
Before the agent finished speaking, I felt Roan’s aura suddenly turn icy.
“What house?” he asked.
I trembled and hung up the phone, swallowing hard.
“Oh, that… wrong number…”
I chuckled, trying to play it off.
But Roan suddenly became agitated.
“Fiona! How long do you want me to wait?”
He casually tossed the breakfast aside and pulled me back into the room.
Pressed against the entrance, I couldn’t move, and his breath sprayed on my face, carrying a distinctive male warmth.
I was dumbfounded; I just wanted to move to a new home. I didn’t understand why he was reacting so strongly.
Could it be that he still harbored resentment over something that happened years ago?
“Roan, if it’s about that incident when I behaved badly while intoxicated, I apologize to you.”
“It’s been so long, and you should have moved on.”
He chuckled lightly, grabbing one of my hands and pressing it against the wall. “Have you ever thought about it? That time, you drank too much, but I didn’t have a single drop?”
Yes, Roan was completely sober throughout.
He did it voluntarily?!
Before I could comprehend it, Roan leaned in again, whispering into my ear, “Do you want me to help you remember?”
I was completely defenseless against the current Roan. My legs turned weak once again, but this time, a pair of large hands firmly held onto my waist.
The warm hands felt like a pair of iron tongs, scorching my skin. He chuckled lightly, his deep voice carrying a seductive tone, “Baby sister, you’re still so sensitive.”
My ears turned crimson as if about to bleed, but I used the last bit of my sanity to push him away. “Roan… don’t do this.”
“Do what?”
He freed one hand, and his jade-like fingers slid down my body from top to bottom, causing a shiver to run through my skin.
“Like this?”

I grabbed his wrist, looking at him seriously. “Roan, do you… like me?”
He finally put aside the playful teasing, his ink-like eyes fixed on me. “I love you.”
