Got On His Love Pirate Ship

Chapter 13 Got on his love pirate ship

I fled in disarray, feeling defeated.

When I emerged from the company, I realized it was pouring rain outside. Frustrated, I stood at the company entrance, knowing it would be challenging to hail a taxi in such heavy rain. I was looking for my phone to call a friend to see if anyone could pick me up. However, I suddenly realized I had left my bag upstairs in my haste.

Today is not my day!

As I contemplated borrowing a phone from someone nearby, a glamorous woman suddenly began mocking me.

“What’s the matter? Did Roan kick you out? Ran all the way to the top floor, and Roan didn’t give you a good reception, huh?”Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.

“Don’t daydream. How could a wealthy and handsome man like Roan be interested in an old woman like you?”

I looked at the woman in front of me, with curvaceous figures and an ample bosom, displaying signs of cosmetic enhancements. Apparently, she considered me a rival.

How could I lose? Just as I was about to give her a lesson, a black Porsche Cayenne came to a halt in front of us. The window rolled down, revealing Roan’s stern profile.

“Get in,” he said, keeping his words concise.

The woman beside me suddenly showed a surprised expression. She straightened her posture, shyly brushed her hair behind her ear, and prepared to get into the car with a smile.

“Oh, thank you so much, I apologize for the inconvenience. ” the cosmetically enhanced woman coquettishly said, sending shivers down my spine.

“Still standing there? Should I get out of the car?” Roan seemed visibly impatient, turning to look at me.

The cosmetically enhanced woman hesitated for a moment, only then realizing that Roan’s invitation was for me, not her.

“Sorry, he’s just taken a liking to an old woman like me,” I said with a smirk.

She seemed to feel greatly wronged, eyes brimming with tears. She looked back and forth between me and Roan, she stomped her foot and ran into the rain.

“Hahaha…” I burst into laughter as soon as I got into the car.

Roan, however, remained silent for a while, seemingly lost in thought. After a moment, he spoke.

“You misspoke just now.”

I immediately sat up, hastily trying to explain.

“You misunderstood. I was just trying to provoke her when I said you were interested in me…”

“Not an old woman,” Roan suddenly interrupted me.

“What?”

I was bewildered.

“I said you’re not an old woman. You’re a lovely sister.”
