Fatal Kiss Of The Vampire

Chapter 491: Let Me Go

They could see dense black smoke coming out several kilometers away from Mountain Elmon.

“Lord Ethan, I think you shouldn’t go there. It’s too dangerous,” Vincent said with concern. “Nobody knows what’s in the house. What if it explodes?”

Although Ethan was the leader of their team, he was a volunteer after all. He knew his power had been suppressed for almost a decade when he decided to live like a human.

If anything terrible happened to him, shares of Century Group would have a dive. Not only would the tens of thousand staff members be affected, but the economy of Seattle could also be in a crisis.

Ethan fixed his eyes on the screen of the computer in his hands. “Speed up!”

“Sure, sure, sure,” Nate said and pinched Vincent’s leg with great force. Vincent felt hurt but didn’t dare make a sound. He could only step on the accelerator to the fastest speed.

The house at Mountain Elmon was already swallowed by flames. Even three fire engines failed to control it.

The high temperature at the scene caused the sprayed water column to become boiling water after falling.

Nate said some dirty words, then quickly took off his coat to cover his head.

“Ethan!” He stopped Ethan, who was walking inside. “We can’t go farther inside! It’s dangerous, and you can’t even use your inner power,”

“Let me go.” Ethan’s low voice sounded determined.

Nate was unwilling to let him go. Even if Kylie was really in there, she could be roasted meat right now. He couldn’t put Ethan in danger.

“Ethan, we can find a firefighter to check it for us. Kylie probably isn’t there!” Nate shouted in the smoke.

“Let me go now!” Ethan lost patience, and the sleeping beast inside him began to emerge.

He had clearly seen Stephen’s car stopped at the gate of this house in the video, and Kylie had walked inside after getting off it.

He also had witnessed that only Stephen and his servant had left this house once smoke came out of a separate window.

Kylie must be inside!

Ethan made up his mind to find Kylie himself. He transformed into his hybrid form and wanted to stride ahead at a quick-pace.

Nate almost threw away when Ethan transformed, and he failed to stop him and shouted to Vincent, “Are you dumb? Come and help me stop him!”

Vincent didn’t recover from the shock of this intense fire until now and hugged Ethan’s waist from his back at once. “Lord Ethan! You can’t walk inside! Your inner strength wasn’t enough to save Kylie,”

Ethan pinched Vincent’s wrist. The moment he used a little strength, Vincent screamed in pain but still refused to loosen his hands. “Lord Ethan, let me go inside for you!”

Vincent yelled, “I’m an orphan, and I have no family. Let me go inside. If-If Miss Finch is in this house, I-I promise that I’ll bring her out!”Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.

Vincent, who was always honest, changed a word at this crucial moment. He said he would bring Kylie out instead of rescuing her.

Nobody could survive in this situation.

Once Vincent said that he felt Ethan’s hand moving away.

He thought his words were persuasive, then turned to stand in front of Ethan.

“Ethan, with great power, comes with great responsibility! You still need to lead us to catch Clown, and you’re also the chairman of Century Group! Remember, our clan needs you,”

Nate joined Vincent at this time. “Vincent’s right. Ethan… please?”

Right when they believed Ethan already gave up the idea that he must get inside personally while into his hybrid form, Ethan grabbed each of them with a hand, then threw them away with great force.

Vincent fell down on the ground, and Nate stepped backward for a few times, then knocked over a nearby unburned flower stand.

Ethan soaked his coat with flowing water from the fire hydrant before he covered himself in it, dashing inside.

Within seconds, Ethan’s tall, strong figure was gone in the burning flames.

“Ethan!” Nate got anxious. He copied Ethan’s behavior and covered himself in a wet coat.

Before he ran inside, he shouted at Vincent, “If I can’t come out alive, tell Fannie to marry a good man!”

“What?” Vincent was shocked. He also wanted to follow them up, but he was wearing a thin coat right now. He can’t even transform into his own form as his inner power was suppressed, too, while a few humans surrounded them. It was too dangerous for him to go inside.

“Spout water here!” An idea dawned on Vincent at this crucial moment.

He caught a firefighter and told him to spout water to the direction where Ethan and Nate left. In an instant, a large number of water vapors coming out of the house.

When Ethan dashed into the house, he found out it looked exactly the same as Garbo Palace No. 1 from the exterior to the interior.

Kylie probably had taken this place as Garbo Palace No. 1, so she entered here without further thinking.

Nate almost stumbled himself after knocking Ethan. He beamed at Ethan. “It’s quite warm inside.”

“Have you thought about Fannie?” Ethan questioned him.

“She’ll be fine.” Nate touched his nose. “She’s a good girl, and I think she can find a better man than me.”

Ethan pressed his lips, then went upstairs.

The room on the second floor was burnt. Even the marble floor was burnt and deformed too.

“Ethan, we can’t get there!” The smoke wholly blackened Nate’s face, and only his white eyeballs were moving in anxiety.

A large area on the back of Ethan’s hand was burned by something falling down from the roof, but he didn’t look embarrassed at all. On the contrary, his tall hybrid body seemed more comfortable while immersing in the fire.

“It’s Stephen’s room,” Ethan said in a crackling burning sound, then turned to run straight into Kylie’s room.

He couldn’t be more familiar with her room.

The intense fire already ruined Kylie’s room, but there was a vague blood footprint in the ruins of the opposite chamber.

Nate’s throat was already injured by the hot air in the house, and it was painful for him even to breathe now because he’s not as strong as Ethan. Without hesitation, he summoned up his courage and dashed inside roaring.

There was broken burned wood everywhere, and a delivery bed covered in blood appeared in his sight.

Stephen must have used the excuse that he needed to do the prenatal examination for Kylie and brought her here, then aborted she and Ethan’s babies!

“Stephen, f*ck you!” Nate roared in anger. At this moment, Nate heard a loud sound.

He turned around and found Ethan fell unconscious lying on the floor as his body gradually covered with a huge fire.

“Ethan!”

Nate ran to Ethan, trying to wake him up, but Ethan did not react. Nate slapped him with great force and left a dark palm print on Ethan’s face.

“Ethan? Wake up!” He almost cried. Nate covered his coat on Ethan’s head, in case he breathed in too much poisonous air.

However, the fire was still burning intensely, and the walls of this room were about to fall.

They had to leave this place as soon as possible!

Ethan was taller than Nate, and his body was stiff now while he remained in his original form. It was impossible for Nate to carry him up on the back, and people outside might notice Ethan’s appearance.

“Ethan, I’m sorry.”

Nate reached out his hands through Ethan’s arms, then began to drag him out step by step, covering his body with the wet coat. Nate shifted back to his human form while dragging Ethan outside.

Bang!

The second when the roof collapsed, Nate protected Ethan with his own body.

“Lord Nate!” Vincent ran over with several firefighters. They worked together to remove those large pieces of stone from Nate’s back.

Nate felt the weight off his back, then rolled down from Ethan’s body.

He beamed and hid Ethan’s appearance to those people around them. He knew they would run into trouble if these firefighters could see Ethan in his hybrid form “F*ck, I didn’t expect I can press Ethan under my body once in my life.”
