She trembled and wrapped the duvet cover on her body.

“We’re gonna get a divorce. And also, I’m doubting if Anaya and Ariel are my real daughters… We’re gonna carry out a DNA test… but first get out of my house” he muttered gently…

“Didn’t I call, didn’t I send you money to carter for your children but you choose to leave them suffering.. Where is Daphne ?” He asked.

“She ran away from home” she replied as she kept packing her clothes from her wardrobe.

“She ran away or you sent her away,” he asked again…

“She ran away from home” she lied again.

“The day of your judgment isn’t now. I will search for you when I have enough evidence.

“It’s pointless doing a DNA test, Anaya is daughter but Ariel isn’t” she uttered and walked past him with her box.

She headed towards Ariel’s room when he stopped her.

“Tell me it’s a joke” he stuttered.

“Have I ever joked with you ?” She asked and he found himself nodding.

“Then I think you believe it if you want… I’m taking my daughter with me. You can have Anaya all to yourself” she uttered with gritted teeth.

Mr. Wallace felt betrayed… He couldn’t arrest the man he found with his wife. He’s too soft for things like this. He turned around and walked out of the building.

Laura picked Ariel’s things and went back to her secret safe and took all the money she kept. He pulled her boxes and Ariel’s into the car boot and drove out to the compound.

**Elohim Private Hospital**

Amy made sure she put the kids to sleep. But her mind was somewhere else. The name ” Daphne!, Daphne!! ” kept ringing in her ears.

The door burst widely, revealing Laura.

“Do you have any idea about Daphne’s disappearance?” Amy asked…

“She ran away from home” Laura replied and carried the sleeping Ariel.

Laura looked shocked as she rubbed her cheeks.

“Are you okay?? How dare you hit my face ??” She roared angrily…

“She ran away or you sent her away,” Amy asked again.

“She ran away” Laura lied again. Amy didn’t think twice before hitting her face again. This time around it was more painful than the first one.

“Fine. I sent her away. Rubbish” she yelled and walked out of the room with Ariel.

“Mommy” Anaya called and she holt instantly.

“Where are you going ??” She asked with a pout.

“You are staying with your dad from now on… ” She muttered and walked out. Amy and Anaya looked confused.

“What’s she saying ??” Anaya shuttered attempting to get off the bed.

“Gently,” Amy said and assisted her…

“Mommy” Anaya screamed which made the sleeping Ariel wake up.

“Anaya,” Ariel called.

“Momma. I want to get down” Ariel mumbled and kept swinging her legs.

“Come here Anaya,” Mr. Wallace said and carried his daughter.

“Daddy, mommy is taking Ariel” she mumbled.

“Your mom and dad are getting a divorce,” she said and Anaya looked confused.

“Divorce ??” Amy knitted her brows.

“I will explain everything to you but first Anaya has to give her sister a proper goodbye..” he said and walked closer to Laura.

“I will miss you” Anaya whimpered and hugged Ariel cutely. Mr. Wallace couldn’t take his gaze away from Laura. He kept wondering how she changed. His face looked so warm, he still loves her despite her ungodly attitude. He wished she wasn’t who he saw earlier. He wished all that was happening was just a dream.

If the school authority hadn’t called him, he wouldn’t have come home. Worst of all, his second daughter is missing. His warm and soft face he had earlier is hard and cold.

“We need to go, Anaya,” Mr. Wallace said.

“Promise to come back for me Anaya,” Ariel said and stretched out her hand for a pinky promise.

“I promise, but promise you won’t sister Daphne, Olivia, and me,” Anaya said.

“I promise,” Ariel said and wiped the tears streamed down Anaya’s cheeks.

Amy couldn’t fight back her tears from where she was standing.

“This is so heartbreaking to see. Why must the kids be suffering from their parent’s mistakes? Now they have to be separated from each other at an early stage” Amy muttered and wished Daphne was here. If she was here things wouldn’t have been like this.

“Where the hell are you Daphne ??” She mumbled.

Anaya watched how Ariel was placed in the back seat with a seat belt… They kept waving at each other…

Anaya burst into fresh tears as their car was out of sight…

“I want to die daddy,” she screamed.

“Ssshhh,” Mr. Wallace said and carried her. He kissed her forehead and head back to her ward along with Amy.

Mr. Wallace explained what happened to Amy and she wasn’t shocked.

“You can go back to the United Arab Emirates. I will take care of Anaya ” she said and took Anaya’s hand.

“I don’t think I will be able to leave her here,” Mr. Wallace said.

“I will stay with Aunt Amy. We will find sister Daphne together when I’m fine again. I will ask for help from the hoodie hero help” she said with a bright smile on her lips.

“Who is the hoodie hero ??” Mr. Wallace asked.

“Oh! He’s the man that saved them from the kidnappers” Amy uttered and was about to say something when Anaya interrupted.

“I got his phone number,” Anaya interrupted.

“Give it to me,” Mr. Wallace said and Anaya chuckled and shook her head.

“I will be with her. You don’t have to get worried” Amy said. Mr. Wallace’s phone rang out loudly and he excused himself…

“We will find Daphne together,” Amy said and pecked Anaya’s left cheek.

**Ravioli SuperMarket**

Laura got out of her car along with Ariel. Ariel’s mood was sad, she wasn’t feeling happy and it was visible enough on her face.

Not when she was about to open the supermarket door. A car stopped quickly behind her. In a quick of an eye, Ariel was snatched away from her…

“Ariel” she screamed and ran after the car.

People gathered around her and felt sorry for her. She stood up quickly and found a CCTV camera on a different pole.

“I think the footage of this will give me a lead” she mumbled and asked around the supermarket. She was told it belongs to the supermarket store.

“We are sorry ma’am. The CCTV is faulty already. It was faulty early this morning. ” That was the news given to her.

Her world looked as if it was turning around.. she felt dizzy and fainted.

She only had a distant voice and everything became dark…

**White House**

Ariel was walking hand in hand with the tall and skinny woman…

“Mommy” another girl screamed and ran into her embrace.

“Where is Samuel? Madison” she asked.

“He rushed out a few hours ago” Madison replied with her eye glued to Ariel who won’t stop staring also.

“Who is her mommy ??” Madison asked.

“Oh! She’s your younger sister from another mom. “She answered.

“I still can’t believe Lawson had a kid before he died. Not even to someone classic but to married woman” she thought and excused herself from the kids.

“Hello my name is Madison Marshall,” Madison said and took Ariel’s hand.

“Your surname is not Remington again but Marshall. Now your name is Ariel Marshall. Madison pulled her into a tight hug.

“Go and prepare a bubble bath for my younger sister. ”

“Should I take another room for her ??” Veera asked.

“We are going to share the same room. I don’t think she can sleep alone.” Madison replied.

“I’m ten years old. Got a problem with that” Madison asked…

“No, I don’t have one,” Ariel said and took a seat.

“The bubble bath is ready,” Veera said.

“Let’s go,” Madison said and took her hand but she hijacked her hand.

“Can you bathe me ?” Ariel asked Veera. And she nodded positively with a wide smile and took her smile…

Madison was amazed by her savage attitude.

“What type of sister is this ??” Madison yelled at her…

“She’s friendly. She’s just like that because she isn’t used to you already” she replied.

” Oh! I will give her some time then” she replied and left the living room. Shortly after her departure, Samuel rushed in and went on her knees.

“There’s bad news boss” Samuel shuttered and started trembling heavily.

“What’s wrong Sam,” she asked.

“Daphne is missing,” he said with a shaken voice.

“I thought you appointed someone to watch over her. Her movement and everything” she screamed.

“So you don’t have a clue of where she is, ” she asked.

“We have but it’s sad news also” Samuel shuttered.

“Tell me everything and don’t hide any f*cking thing from me. ” She yelled.

“She’s in the clan already,” he said and rubbed his hand together.

“She’s what,” she asked again but got no response.

“She’s what” she screamed and threw a wine glass cup against the wall…

“Tell me she wasn’t tortured,” she asked with a loud voice…

“I’m not sure she is,” Samuel mumbled.

“Ma’am Ellison” A guy called.

“What ??” she yelled.

“Your goods weren’t allowed to cross the sea”

“Who dares stop me Ellison Marshall (Late Lawson’s Wife)” she screamed and took her car keys.
