Dear Ex-wife Marry Me

Chapter 1552

She whirled around and opened the door to her hotel suite, the living room immediately greeting her as

she stepped out.

The suite’s living area was modest, and the couch appeared rather cramped with Ian, Dylan, and

Walter all hunkered down on it.

Ian had been tracing routes on a map but paused, catching sight of Maja in her pajamas. Maja herself

had only just realized she was still in her nightwear and that her luggage had been taken away, leaving

her with nothing but the pajamas she'd set aside the night before.

Ian, not seeing her suitcase, assumed she came in a rush and hadn't brought anything.

“Go back to sleep. I’ll go buy you some clothes,” he said.

“Oh,” was all she managed, a flush creeping onto her cheeks as she shut the door.

Ian spread the map in front of the other two men, pointing to a couple of sites he’d mentioned earlier.

“These are our entry points. Take a look. I’ll be right back with some clothes.” With that, he stood and

left.

Dylan and Walter, both bachelors, were surprised to see the big boss himself heading out to shop for

women's apparel.

Clothing sizes in the West were different than back home; one had to measure to know for sure, and

the styles varied greatly unless one opted for stores specifically catering to the Chinese diaspora.

Ian returned after forty minutes, arms laden with shopping bags, and headed straight to the bedroom.

Fresh from her shower, Maja was waiting. Ian presented the clothes, “I had them sanitized at a high

temperature.”

She found they fit well and, grateful, pecked him on the cheek, “Thanks.”

Breakfast was already served, and the three men were deep in discussion about breaking into the

research facility. With no way to join in, Maja quietly ate.

Suddenly, more food appeared in her bowl. She turned to Ian.

“You need to eat more meat, you’re eating for two now.”

With the presence of Dylan and Walter, she felt a twinge of embarrassment but nodded.

Dylan, following Ian's lead, also used his utensils to serve her more meat.

Maja stiffened slightly but said nothing.

Soon, Walter joined in, offering her vegetables with his fork, drawing scrutinizing glances from Ian and

Dylan.

Walter simply raised an eyebrow and smiled.

Ian’s expression cooled as he reached over with his fork, methodically removing the vegetables Walter

had offered from Maja’s bowl.

She couldn’t help but find the situation a tad ridiculous.

But she understood Walter was trying to lighten the mood, especially as she was pregnant and feeling

sleepy again. She slumped on the narrow couch, her head nodding off.

The men took chairs, leaving her the couch, and continued planning their infiltration of the research

base. Content is © by NôvelDrama.Org.

Dylan pointed to the hospital on the map.

“We’ve got about thirteen corpses being transported to the facility. My team and I can disguise as

corpses to get inside.”

This left Ian and Walter to consider the welfare center, which sent about a dozen people at a time to the

base. They would have to pretend to be refugees chosen for relocation.

However, their foreign faces posed a problem. Foreign refugees were rare, and a sudden influx would

raise suspicion.

Ian leaned back, hearing gunshots not far from the hotel, his finger coming to rest on a park on the

map.

Dylan and Walter exchanged glances, agreeing with the plan.

Ian’s finger shifted back to the welfare center.

“My team of seven will infiltrate from there. The official report of a foreigner meeting should cover our

presence. Foreigners are valuable to the base—they built it here where they have plenty of locals but

need diversity.” New chąpter avąilable oո

Once the plan was set, Dylan looked over at Maja.

There would be a wedding to plan soon.

Ian's eyes softened with the thought, a hint of anticipation flickering within.
